Perfect stay for our family for the weekend!

LOVE this hotel. Perfect family getaway for a long weekend. Never have to even leave the grounds. Multiple restaurants to choose from and the FOOD is delicious.

Very nice resort with beautiful pools. It was nice having an adults only pool. The ocean was so beautiful and it was nice having the golf carts available to take you back and forth. The rooms were nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
The food was pretty good but not there were not a lot of options.
Cons- the distance from the resort to the beach and not going to the beach after 8. This is just how the area is and nothing the resort can help.
The drinks and food were very expensive at the resort.

This was our second stay as a family of four. Last year, same time, the resort offered daily kid’s activities, but not this year. This was a big disappointment for my girls. The resort requires guests to identify with bracelets for amenity use - most good resorts use the rubber removable bracelets or something comfortable. Naples Grande is still using those annoying plastic clip on bracelets that you can’t remove. They were a pain to keep on for all of us. After our first night, the water in our shower smelled foul and we couldn’t get hot water. I texted the number provided, but after waiting a bit, called for service. (Nobody keeps up with the text requests, I’d recommend calling if you want timely service). Engineering came to the room and couldn’t resolve the issue. We were moved next door which was a bit of a smaller room but with a working shower. It took us a good 30-45 minutes to move everything that we had unpacked. Nobody called to apologize or make any concessions for the inconvenience until I asked for management. We were promised that our lunch from the day prior would be comped. $50 was comped. That was half our lunch bill for 3 burgers and 3 non alcoholic beverages by the pool. Pool service was very slow to receive that day. The rooms are definitely approaching the need for upgrades! Impact sliding doors to the patio would be most appreciated, as they would’ve blocked the sound of construction and maintenance work each morning and afternoon. Although my kids love the slide at the pool, we will likely consider alternative properties next summer.

Overall a very poor experience. Upon arriving, no one greeted us to take our luggage & valet were just chatting & on their phones. Receptionist wasn’t welcoming. When I got to my room, I immediately noticed the coffee table was dirty from the front door, it hasn’t been wiped down and there were small little ants crawling on it. The carpets were really dirty and the whole room was musty. I’m not sure what kind of “cleaning” they do but it wasn’t clean. Besides that, the rooms really need renovations done. For the price I paid, I expected a better overall experience. The food was terrible and I actually got sick from it. I ended up checking out the very next day from how terrible it was. The only positive thing I can think of is the size of the balcony of the room I had, it was very spacious

My sister and I spent our birthdays here (birthdays in your 30s hit different) and it was truly amazing & relaxing… the getaway we needed. The rooms were clean, the drinks were great, the staff was friendly and I truly appreciated the adults only pool and the more private beach. The private beach kept the crowds down which brought in all sorts of marine life!

Second time in few months staying at the Naples Grande and what a difference from our previous visit which was during peak season! Checking in was fast and easy and gentleman at the counter was very nice! We stayed on the 10th floor, king gulf view room, immediately upon entering the room it felt just damp and had weird musty plus cleaning product smell! Floor felt slightly damp in one spot which grossed me out too! Desk chair was like mismatched and had rips at the seems, hair dryer provided was like 12 years old and had burning smell when I used! Air conditioner never felt cold or go below 70! I can’t stand being hot when getting ready on vacation! Room phone didn’t work! We purchased a $440 dollar cabana at the adult pool and when we announced our arrival to pool staff nothing was set up or ready for us, no one checked on us and the FREE fruit platter they give for spending few hundred dollars had what looked like unclean fruit, had to get new one! Seems like because it’s considered start of the “off season” they had less staff around the pool and the pool food was probably worst I’ve ever had!! The staff was really nice and I just felt bad to bring all these issues up but I’m just really disappointed by this stay as we spent a lot of money and were really looking forward to our stay! Writing this review in hopes that they will address these issues and the next guest has better experience!

I've stayed here many times where we had several conventions at this site. Always clean and easy to work with. Beach is there, but a bit of a hike to get there. Rooms comfortable and "sleep worthy". Pool is great as is the food.

Nice big hotel. The main pool is great, especially for children as there is a waterslide, or there is an Adults Only pool if you don't have young ones. The pool was extremely busy at Weekend however as I think they have member guests visiting, so midweek may be better. Golf carts run you to the beach, which is excellent. We had a gulf view double double room and the view was excellent - we watched the sunset over the gulf in the evening. The bathroom had a fantastic bath big enough to fit 4 people in! Food is very expensive however (especially in the evening at the Pelican), so you may find it better to dine out.
