Firstly, I must commend the exceptional beach view room that instantly transported me to a state of relaxation and allowed me to connect with the mesmerizing beauty of the Mexican Gulf. The friendly, professional, and well-trained Front of House team also contributed positively to my stay, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
On a positive note, the yoga sessions on the green in front of the beach were delightful and added value to my stay. The breathtaking sunset view was a highlight, although I found it necessary to secure a booking for the best seat in advance.

Wonderful vacation. I read a lot of reviews before going. And it is definitely still not the full facility post-hurricane two years ago. However, things were great. Only one pool open though at the time of our visit. 3.20.24. Service can be a little bit slow. People didn’t answer the phone a lot when calling for room service or other simple questions. Valet was a little bit slow at times. So is it worth the price? I’m not really sure I can say yes. However, we would return. And we had a very great time.

Beautiful dinner watching the sunset over the ocean. Food was absolutely delicious, the desserts were mouth watering and the wine was excellent! Very memorable evening with my husband.

So, I called this resort to help my brother out with a proposal, and he mentioned to me the lack of respect and unprofessionalism. The concierge says, "Why can you just propose to your girlfriend somewhere else? You know how much work it is to lay down the flowers and candles? Like, what else? Is your mother going to be in control of everything?" My brother was stunned because he wanted to do something nice and romantic for this special moment.

For those who are reading this review, please CONSIDER ANYTHING ELSE BEFORE GIVING YOUR MONEY AWAY!

**This message is directly addressed to that concierge & another worker (in charge of decorating), who responded: If you are that miserable with your job and your life, there is no need to take it out on another potential customer. Just do yourself a favor and leave because you are only losing clients to this resort.

I am deeply sad and hurt by this experience, but at the same time, I am grateful that we did not GIVE A SINGLE DIME TO THIS RESORT with nasty employees.

We have been eating at the restaurant for many years, and have never seen such horrible service.
Of course the ocean view us beautiful, but was dissatisfied with the slow service.
After we where seated we waited and waited at least 10 minutes to be acknowledged by the waiter. Also we needed other drinks but he never came back to check.
Finally, had to ask other people just get the check. Other guests had to get up and chase down their bill also.
We expected more frim a so called luxury hotel.and restaraunt.
Love the view though.

My husband and I would like to start by thanking Carlos the resort manager and Richard from Laz VIP for the exceptional welcome.
We went for a 40th wedding anniversary and it was exactly what we needed.
It is a beautiful quaint resort that has everything that you need to have a great time whether it's just being lazy out by the beach, going for a power-walk or relaxing in your own balcony, which is exceptional.
The food at Baleen was great. Every staff member greeted us kindly and professionally. The rooms are very spacious well decorated and extra comfortable. LaPlaya can be a much or as little as you need it to be that's why it's so perfect. A rare find.
We will be back.

Nice comfortable stay. Excellent proximity to the beach. Great view. Great service. I only had a few minor complaints. The jacuzzi bathtub only had 1/2 the jets working... and the frequent automatically included gratuity on already overpriced meals, and services. I was already paying a premium price for the stay, why also nickel and dime everything?

The jet skis were great, and well maintained. The wait staff were attentive. The food was good, but there are better options for similar $$$ around the area.

Overall, I will be coming​ back. It was a nice getaway.

Love Love Love this resort !!! Top notch!! Only thing I didn't like was the guys out on the beach serving you. I was out there for 3 hours and not once was I offered a drink and my flag was up the whole time. A little disappointed. I checked in and I had to ask 3times for an umbrella. The guy giving me attitude when I asked for the third time. I wasn't rude at all nor demanding. But other than that I had a blast. Restaurant onsite was amazing. Perfect weekend

Nice place overall. The pools and beach are really well kept. Our room was large and comfortable. Bed was very nice. Only complaint is shower pressure was too weak. Service was excellent; everyone was very friendly and professional. I'd definitely stay again if in the area.

The resort is nice and the rooms are large, clean and of a nice size but the property is currently under major construction. Only one pool is open and relaxing is impossible with jackhammering 20 feet behind your poolside chair. Our "partial water view" room has a view of a wooden fence, you cannot see the water at all (but you can see into the neighbors living room)! The poolside dining and bar close at sundown but the fire pit area is nice. The resort is in a residential area so the beach is private but you are 20 to 30 minutes from Naples dining, shopping and things to do.
