Imperial Inn Oakland

The motel experience was really nice, it was truly a 24 hour check in as I arrived around 12.15 am and there was someone at the reception to check me in. The room was clean and large , there was also a fridge inside. The microwave was not in the room but immediately I requested for it , a microwave was brought to my room in less than 10 minutes .
Imperial inn is close to the Mc Arthur train station
and there are pockets of restaurants that sell Chinese, Korean and burgers all around.
The environment is peaceful though I won't advise anyone to walk around late at night especially if you are a tourist.
The best part for me was I requested a late check out and this was granted to me in a friendly tone at no additional cost , if I ever come into San Francisco again it's imperial inn for me. It's affordable lodging in a nice environment.

I find the hotel very liable to for the price it is about one of the best rooms you can get. Service, very friendly and helpful. When you get to your own, everything is clean, looks neat, smells good and fresh. They are constantly upgrading. I have been to quite a few hotels in the bay area. This is definitely one of my favorites.

Stayed here a number of time in recent years. Nothing to get exited about, but this is Oakland. Of all the motels on McArthur this seems to be at the better end of the range. Rooms spacious and well furnished, everything works - well maybe not the alarm clock, but they never do. Clean enough, and comfy beds. TV channel selection is good. Well located for access to/from the Interstates, and BART. Staff friendly and helpful.

Very comfortable room. Very clean and quiet. Also staff was very caring and diligent.

my friend and I stayed here after a concert, and it's a great place to stay, we will more than likely be returning next time we're in Oakland. im a smoker, so I tend to smoke outside, and I felt very safe. I saw the owner a couple times and he was very kind, and it made me feel even safer to be outside of my hotel room. it has a gorgeous little fountain with seating in a courtyard type area, and the parking lot is completely gated in. the decor was super cute too, I love mid century modern decor and architecture 😌 overall, this was a great place to stay for a really good price. also was less than 10 mins to drive to the oracle.
