Spacious, clean and inviting rooms. Attentive and friendly staff. Attracts a variety of clientele. I've stayed here twice. The first time, they were conducting auditions for a well-known reality show. This second time, a college football team from Miami was visiting to play the local team. Both times, we had a great time and despite both events, not a sound could be heard in the room. Slept well.

We have a corner room and it's pretty small.. not enough for 2 people. Parking is $4 for 20 minutes or $50 a day. I had to pay $36 for a little over 4 hours. There's free parking but blocks over.

The room is really small. Has a little bit of a nice view. Parking was a hassle. The parking thats connected to the hotel is $4 for the first 20 minutes. But its $50 a day. Free parking is blocks away..

The hotel is just okay. Rooms meet marriots standard, property is clean, and the M club lounge is decent. Parking is extremely expensive and not included at 55 a night. The M club lounge charges for alcohol during the evening service (11$ for a beer and 15$ for a glass of wine), at that point it shouldn't even be offered as it's typically free.

Everything was good about my one-night stay - room clean and quiet and the breakfast options were delicious. However when I got my car from the overnight valet and opened the hatchback of my rental car, the car reeked of marijuana. The valets were nowhere in sight and we had to leave for our meeting. Friendly, courteous staff. Room quiet, clean, very comfortable. Free breakfast, and airport shuttle. We've stayed at almost every other place in the area and this, though slightly higher priced was well worth it. We will defiantly stay there when we fly out of Oakland.

I missed my connecting flight that was the last one for the day. I wanted to spend the night near the Oakland Airport. I was lucky to get a room at the Hilton because hotels in the area are quite busy. It worked out beautifully for me. The rooms are well furnished and clean. I was a walk-in and needed to be close to the airport and utilize the complimentary hotel shuttle. The shuttle is a blessing in the busyness of traffic! It was a pleasure to have an on-site restaurant and bar. Very nice holiday decorations that help to put one in the spirit! My room was very spacious and comfortable.

This is a solid hotel. The rooms are outdated though and the prices are high. I am a gold member and stayed on the member floor. I was disappointed to see my carpet had stains all over it. The staff was nice. I've stayed at this location before and it has been a far walk to my room. The breakfast is really good. Parking is easy.

Room comes with two towels, two hand towels and two face towels, Shampoo, conditioner, shower cap, soap, lotion and body wash, blow dryer Kleenex, small fridge and a large tv in the room. This place was very nice and the rooms were clean. They are cute and have all your essentials. Walking into the place is absolutely stunning. The decor is on point ! Staff was friendly and helpful. Yes it is in a tougher area BUTTTTTT they do have a guard at the entrance and there is only one exit and one entrance. I liked that. I will definitely be back!

Staff here are wonderful. The food in the restaurant is fantastic. The rooms were very clean, the beds are comfortable and new. The lobby and the tower rooms are very fancy, with lots of space just like in the pictures. The hotel security was very good, but I wouldn't go anywhere on foot in the neighbourhood.

Hotel itself is very nice. Check-in was easy and employees were nice. Don't count on the shuttle, it only operates from 7am-11pm and we weren't able to use it as our flight in came in late and our flight out was too early. Disappointed in the shuttle and that there isn't any coffee/Water station in the lobby. But overall, at least the hotel was clean and safe.

Super happy with my stay here. Great rate on a Saturday night. Restaurant on the first floor - food was fresh, service was excellent. Really nice rooms, linens, soaps, super comfortable bed. Parking lot is gated & seems to have 24 hr attendant. I walked to the coliseum from here (day game). Can't imagine there is a better place to be if you need to stay by OAK airport.

Only stayed one night, but slept great. The beds were comfortable the room was clean it was quiet at night time. Only down fall it’s in a not so good part of town. But the hotel is doing whatever they can to ensure guests safety and to make sure their belongs are safe as well. At night time they have a full fence blocking all the entrances except for one. The room was a satisfactory, typical hotel room. Nothing bad to report... very comfortable. I have to RAVE about the RBG restaurant. We had the Triple B Burger for dinner with a side salad. The only reason I can't give this 5 stars is because of the area this Motel 6 is located. It is not in a good part of town but the workers did a great job. I love how you guys allow pets without issue. The mounted TV with the hook ups are great. There was hot water for the shower. The security guard on site was great having since the neighborhood did not feel safe.

The adage "You get what you pay for" has never applied more than here. The Oakland Airport Executive Hotel appears to be a former Hilton brand hotel under independent ownership. I stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed my stay entirely. Rooms were clean. Fresh Lenin and towels. Staff was nice and curtious. Would definitely recommend. Love the location also. It's close to the airport. Restaurants and highway. Did not eat in the restaurant located inside the hotel, but looked around and was very clean and cozy.

Actual room was very clean and nice especially for the price. The neighborhood (which is true of most airports) is not nice. Glad my car was still in parking lot in morning. Security guard wears a thick bullet proof vest. Double lock your door at night and you’ll likely be fine there for a night.

A functional hotel that has seen better days. I haven't eaten in a restaurant since Miss Kelly passed, when I could go there and get me a real good breakfast. Then Ethiopian ladies took over and they ran it fine for a while. Now I think it's chicken and waffles in the restaurant there, but the hotel - it's not my cup of tea!

Quite an experienced staying here for a week with the train noise every hour for 24 hours. Hotel staff was nice & friendly help a lot with the coffee. Free Brown Bag breakfast with yoghurt, orange juice and a bar. Ice vending machine not working at the 3rd floor.

I currently am living day by day hotel jumping lifestyle which is very difficult in the Bay Area, especially when there is a convention in town so a room at a property that should go for $68 a night, jumps up to $668 a night or more until that convention is over . The staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodations were clean, spacious and quiet. We were doing a trade show across the street at the Marriott City Center and much preferred staying at the Courtyard.

Exterior of hotel is hard to spot from the street, signage is tough to find in daylight. Also directions to where valet is would help avoid driving around block needlessly. Came to Oakland for a quick getaway. This hotel was a perfect location for our trip... Close to the lake, restaurants, BEASTMODE store, clubs, etc. Rooms were nicely decorated and staff were friendly. Shout out to Eugene at the front desk! Be sure to eat at the Buttercup just a few blocks away. Would definitely stay again!

My mother stayed here while visiting my son and I. The people who work here are great! The valet guys, the people at the front desk and just everyone. The stay was excellent, the only downside being very few places to get food or drink to go near the hotel late at night. They have a market but it sold out quickly and had a limited selection. Still, super comfortable, very clean and quiet, a great experience!

The palace was clean and staff friendly & helpful. Room was spacious. Parking isn’t free with the gate in place but the staff were kind to waive my parking fee so I didn’t drive out once I got in and only drove out when I left. It didn’t say specifically that you had to pay parking but if I knew I would have booked somewhere else w free parking. Anyway it was a pleasant experience outside of that.

My family’s flight was cancelled and they were stranded at the airport. The employee at the front desk sent a Lyft and checked them in to the room as soon as it became available. I cannot put in to words how efficient and how much they prioritize their guests. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Staff is very pleasant and well trained.

Friendly staff. There is no longer a shuttle. No hand soap in guest room baths so you’ll be using body wash from the shower to clean your hands. Plenty of plugs but no USB. Walls are paper thin.

We like this hotel when we go to night games for the Oakland A's. The shuttle drops us at the airport Bart station and picks us up upon our return. The hotel is nice, clean, and quiet. I gave it 4 stars because my bed was not as comfy as I am used to when I stay at Courtyards.

Great location for attending music performance at Rocky's Brooklyn Basin. Complaints are the noise from people partying outside our room until after 11. Nice waterfront views. Bed was too soft. Breakfast was good.

Had an awful expierence the first night. Came in to California arriving on a 2am flight making it so we did not arrive at the hotel until 3 am. While the hotel was made aware that we'd be arrive around 3am somehow our reservation was cancelled as a no show. Good service and rooms are nice. Parking is a bit limited depending on the time of day. Convenient location, not far from downtown Oakland, Lake Merritt, and transit. Hotel shuttle service is awesome, and will take you to any of those locations, plus some! Would recommend to anyone needing a hotel stay in Oakland.

Decent hotel in a low key location. Typical room for a Homewood Suites. Common area and lobby were recently renovated and it looked great. Solid complimentary breakfast. Bathroom smelled a bit musty.

This hotel is right next to the airport and although it looks a little older on the outside, the rooms are all recently updated. I felt like I was staying in a brand new hotel room. Room was updated and clean. Very close to airport and car rental return. Unfortunately, no fault of the hotels, there was a large group of Harley riders. Some started their bikes at 4:00 a.m., more at 5:00 a.m. and more at 6:30. I was on 4th floor and they we loud. Can't imagine being lower and having to listen to that. The initial service was very rough, lacking a little kindness. Parking outside, in front of the hotel you need to pay on arrival as the place is open and unsecured. Decent food, good internet speed, amazing views, and the first floor rooms open directly on to the bay & you could literally step out of your room & into the trail along the bay. Check out the pics - the sunset views are lovely & you could easily get lost, lounging on the sunset.

Nice hotel along the embarcadero. Not a great location, but the hotel and room feel safe and comfortable. Balcony views are really nice. There is a bar open nightly with decent prices, and good service. Two menu options, and it's worth an eat if you don't want to go anywhere. It was a clean, comfortable 2.5 star hotel and fairly priced. I was greeted at front desk by Jasmine who cheerfully helped me switch rooms to match my booking. No frills, good coffee in the morning,.worth it. Do your research about the area and don't blame the hotel for where it is in Oakland.

Management sucks...Unprofessional and Not Honest at all. Thinking they pocket your money is my conclusion. However you get what you pay for but just be aware of current management team. Workers at front desk are great though.

No-frills place to sleep. This hotel has the best mattresses!! Very comfy; woke up refreshed. Plumbing is excellent, plenty of hot water, toilet worked great. Front desk is separate from actual building with rooms. Front desk people have excellent customer service and personality! I only gave it 4 stars because there is currently not an on-site restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff. They have a nice shuttle to the airport and will hold your bags if your flight is after checkout. AC wasn't working but they sent someone to fix it immediately. Next to a really good restaurant. The only thing I didn't like was that registration was in a separate building than the rooms and the wheelchair ramp to the building with the rooms was not conveniently placed

This hotel is now government owned and no longer a business but a transitional / low income housing establishment.

Our room was large enough to move around in comfortably, unlike some other hotels of this nature and price. The staff member who greeted us in the evening was very friendly! The staff member in the morning however completely ignored us when we walked by and said good morning.

Good hotel. The front desk staff was hilarious. The rooms were clean and very nice. The TV had soccer so I could watch the World Cup games. One of the elevators needs a little maintenance. It's a bit old, but felt safe. The area is a little sketchy and the hotel is hard to find from the street. That is my only gripe with it. Parking and WiFi was included which is great!

This place absolutely kills it every time! I'm a traveling photographer, always on business runs up and down the west coast and I can always say I'm always looking forward to my stay here. Dericka was in charge for this particular visit and she rocked it. She made me feel like a true VIP and you can tell this wasn't her first rodeo. nice clean and spacious hotel rooms. friendly staff. they do require a $300 refundable deposit on a debit or credit card, it will be returned upon check-out as long as you didn't damage any property. there is no way around the deposit, it is required to rent a room no exceptions. very well priced.

Love the Z-Hotel! This is my go-to place when I travel to Oakland. It is a very clean, pleasant and relaxing facility located at the edge of beautiful Jack London Square and within walking distance to great entertainment and eateries, including world-renowned Yoshi’s. I highly recommend this hotel—definitely two thumbs up!!!

Hidden gem. Most would never know this hotel was there and honestly it's probably better that way. Once you step thru the doors the fact that your downtown disappears which is nice. It's its own little world. Beautiful courtyard with pool,soda machines, gym. The only downfalls. Room was a little small and secure parking is $30! That's way steep in my opinion. Overall is was a nice stay.

The lobby is tidy, the surveillance system is decent as well. The room was also spacious and very tidy. We really enjoyed our stay here. All was good enough to make you feel like you're at home and support you with everything. We're going to be here again. I would definitely recommend this cozy spot to all of my colleagues.

Very comfortable been here 7 or 8 times and have had a good stay. This time I was charged $25/day for parking which seemed like a lot. The place looks newly refurbished and nice. The pool area is great. Rooms aren't really soundproof so if you have noisy neighbors it could be a problem. Very convenient to the harbor and the BART station and Chinatown.

Even though the rooms have a spot to plug in your ethernet cable, the ports are not active and the "free" wireless SUCKS!

The wireless internet is throttled to dial up speeds. If you NEED it to be functional for work, you have to buy the "upgrade"

When driving in from 40th street and Horton go straight into Best Buy parking lot. Don't make a right on Mandela Parkway as your GPS well tell you...trust me it'll make you mad.

its oakland. its the east bay. its California and there's a high chance you will be a victim of crime here. that's the reality after my car was broken into in the hotel's parking lot. the hotel has plenty of cameras but good luck getting a copy of the footage to assist with filing a police report and even more good luck to you for the police to even respond to you. A quick and easy hotel near Oakland Airport. But being in Oakland itself sets itself up for being in a crime ridden area. Staff was nice when we did find them, rooms were clean, and the breakfast buffet was average nothing fancy. There was a nice secluded hot tub in the corner of the lobby that would have been nice to use.

This Best Western is absolutely the place to stay! Really nice and specious room with nice view. Parking is around $12 which is one of the cheapest one in the area. Breakfast provided but you dont have that much choice. Room was clean but some spots such as curtains need some more care and be cleaned.

Although the property is in need of an update, John at the front desk was extremely helpful. We arrived and needed to make some changes and John was so accommodating and made everything perfect. He was kind and worked hard to make everything work for us.

The location is down town and Oakland is not a gigantic city so everything is pretty close even the San Francisco Bridge and train station. Quality inn provided a great place to stay at a reasonable price close to the sporting events in Oakland. Nothing fancy at all but a quiet place to lay your head before going out to enjoy sporting events
