Love the Z-Hotel! This is my go-to place when I travel to Oakland. It is a very clean, pleasant and relaxing facility located at the edge of beautiful Jack London Square and within walking distance to great entertainment and eateries, including world-renowned Yoshi’s. I highly recommend this hotel—definitely two thumbs up!!!

Hidden gem. Most would never know this hotel was there and honestly it's probably better that way. Once you step thru the doors the fact that your downtown disappears which is nice. It's its own little world. Beautiful courtyard with pool,soda machines, gym. The only downfalls. Room was a little small and secure parking is $30! That's way steep in my opinion. The lobby is tidy, the surveillance system is decent as well. The room was also spacious and very tidy. We really enjoyed our stay here. Very comfortable been here 7 or 8 times and have had a good stay. This time I was charged $25/day for parking which seemed like a lot. The place looks newly refurbished and nice. The pool area is great. Rooms aren't really soundproof so if you have noisy neighbors it could be a problem. Very convenient to the harbor and the BART station and Chinatown.

Even though this Best Western hotel is set back in a warehouse commercial area don't let that fool you. The property is well maintained. After camping in the woods for two weeks, Temescal felt like a dream. The hotel is clean, painted with fun colors, and the accessories are up to date and modern. I have crashed here twice over 2 yrs; each stay was for 2ish weeks. Each time it has been a prolonged stay while looking for a reasonable place to live. I've stayed here a few times. Staff is great, the rooms are hit and miss. If you get a water view room, they are quite lovely. If you get an inner room, they are much smaller and cramped. I had a room once where I couldn't hang a dress shirt and no desk(if you need to work.) Another that was spacious. As of 3/18, they are still going through an unadvertised remodel.

A nicely renovated building, while it was small, my room with queen bed was very modern and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and actually cared about my needs. Lovely hotel! The newly renovated room was really nice and modern. The top floor rotating club was incredible. We spent hours in there enjoying the view and the food. The feelings just hit different when you get to watch the city waking up beneath you bathed in morning sunshine while you have warm delicious breakfast buffet. Personally, I wouldn't pay the extra for the Regency Club. The view up there was amazing but the food was not on par with what you would expect IMO. For the area, for the price...a solid 4. Excellent experience overall! Got into the city a bit sooner than expected, but Liz let us check-in early at no additional cost. Fantastic price point for staying in SF and great location. Loved the location. It's right close to chinatown but towards the safer part. It's close to most areas of the city so you are central to everything. The service was really good. Had a solid time here - we arrived way too early (like 6 hours early) and were still able to get checked in for free. Stayed here many many times, always great! However this time there was a strike going on, very loud outside, and in the room early in the morning. But the hotel is lovely, historic and smells amazing inside! They have a lovely indoor pool too! Hopefully the staff on strike will recieve what they need and all can go back to normal. Really really great experience at Palace Hotel. The service was amazing, the rooms were clean and room service provides dental kits, shaving kits, slippers at request, all high quality. There was a happy hour everyday from 4-7pm and they had free drinks and charcuterie. The pool and gym were clean and in good condition too. Only downside was the hot tub was pretty tepid and not really hot.

Besides great service, great food, concierge Daniel Rey went above and beyond with his services. I had an emergency and needed to see a notary on Sunday! Daniel said he would call me and let me know when I would be in San Francisco. Daniil found a mobile notary within an hour! Couldn't have asked for better service! The facility was a gorgeous and nicely sized space for my company's annual meeting. The food was rather exceptional and the service set a new high bar. Had an amazing stay at this hotel. Perfectly situated next to Chinatown and easy access to main sights around SF. A little expensive. Good clean room. It really stinks having valet being mandatory and having a steep price in parking. Parking should be cheaper than that. Props to the valet team, they were very fast, very polite, and made it a little less painful.

I came to the Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco to grab a drink at their bar. It is a beautiful space and the ambiance is very laid back. The volume was low enough so that you could carry out a conversation with your guests with normal indoor voices, but still lively enough. My experience was fantastic.

One of the best discreet places to meet friends for breakfast, happy hour or celebrations! It is so cozy and the food and wine selection divine. I love their lux breakfast options. A must if you want to impress someone or just have a heart to heart with a dear friend.

Wow! I was extremely impressed by this hotel. It was very big and nice looking, the rooms were nice, I was particularly impressed by the bar on the 39th floor. The views from up there were spectacular. The hotel's location was also very nice and convenient. I would love to stay there again. This is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in to this date.

Everything was really good. The only trouble we ran into was having to deal with a very large event that was going on during our stay. There should have been an employee helping guests with the elevators when the conferences got out. We literally waited 20-25 minutes for elevators once, while other waits we're averaging 10 minutes. The service is here is always excellent. They often email before and after the stay to check on if I need(ed) anything. I admit to having reserved a one night stay for myself with very low expectations, given the location and inexpensive rate. I was pleasantly surprised by what I found - the small room was comfortable, relatively quiet, and spotless. I'd definitely return.

The place itself is quite dirty and smelly, but not too disgusting. There are plenty of amazing restaurants around, as the place is in close vicinity of Chinatown and italian joints. There are also several go go clubs, two of them on both sides, right next to the entrance, so it might not be the best place for families. Still, I feel it was worth its money.

It's okay. Extremely small rooms, no fans or anything for air circulation so we had to have the windows open.
