Beautiful setting and trendy decor. Cute nearby town of Ogunquit too. About 45 min from Kennebunkport by car.
The place is what you need to recharge your energy .. they UV all the room and adjust the services to comply with the safety measures to ensure COVID-19 free community
Wonderful view especially during the tides. Staff is very accommodating and helpful if you don't know the area. The buffets are the best route if you aren't sure what to order at the restaurant.

location was a nice drive to see the sights.. marginal way.. etc . very spacious rooms and comfortable beds. clean and basic. fine for our travels. staff was kind to give us adjoining rooms since we were traveling with family. coffee machine in rooms and free breakfast coffee was a plus.
Stay was great! This is our second time staying here, and will definitely come back again! The room was clean, and spacious. The jet tub in the room was extremely clean! Would absolutely recommend! Hotel was quiet, and staff was very friendly and caring! Dre helped us check in and was super friendly! 5stars!!!
We had a mini hot tub in our room so that was nice but for the price over 200$ we expected it to work a bit better. The room was nice and clean shower worked fine, amenities were generally fine. The walls are paper thin so that was a bit annoying. But our stay was fine for one night; we didn’t try the pool so can’t comment on how that is. Bed was comfortable, tv and fireplace worked nicely.
Great place to stay. Huge hot tub and outdoor pool. Front desk staff are professional, efficient in performing task and prompt in addressing guests complaints. Housekeepers work assiduously and conscientiously to ensure rooms are ready on time for check in and to address guests complaints. Maintenance personnels address issues promptly. Overall the hotel is conveniently located.
Stayed here for a week with our family of 5. The price was perfect- the hotel is clean, away from traffic in the town and has beautiful grounds. The updates are great and the pool is just a great option when everyone needs a break from the beach! Planning on staying again in the near future!
Very nice place, really no issues except the Wi-Fi was weak and not good if you need to Get some work done. Also the continental breakfast wasn't good. Other then that is was a pleasant stay.

Friendliness and helpfulness of the Inn's owners, cleanliness, proximity to the beach, historic decor, pool and hot tub
My wife and I recently stayed at this place while visiting new england. We had a bottom floor room facing the street with a covered porch and that was great. We were there in October so it was cool and comfy. The room was cleaned but not super comfortable. Because it's also part of a large bed and breakfast sort of facility, there were a lot of people coming and going right outside your door and it...
This is a really cool old house with a really interesting history. The staff are great, and it's perfectly located within walking distance to tons of food and entertainment. I'm giving 4 stars because, even though the bedroom itself was fine, the bathroom was the worst. Old gross grout and weirdly crooked tile combined with the low ceiling and too long, old shower curtain, it just felt uncomfortably...
First time visit to Ogunquit and the Abalonia Inn- and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Upon check in they were friendly and took the time to show us what was in which direction from the hotel. While not ocean front it was a very short and enjoyable walk down to the beach. This location can't be beat for the path to Marginal way and Shore road. We were able to walk everywhere! We enjoyed the hot tub...
Cozy rooms, decor - feels like home. The owner and service overall is impeccable. Always enjoy our stay. The location is perfectly nestled by downtown shopping and restaurants along with quick walking or driving access to the beach, Marginal Way and Perkins Cove. Lovely hotel!
The location of the Abalonia Inn was perfect for Ogunquit Beach, restaurants and shopping . It was a picturesque experience in a New England town full of charm. Everything is right outside your door here. I stayed in Room #8 and the size of the room felt spacious to move around in. The bathroom was a very good size with a stand- up shower and it was nice to have a window for ventilation. This was a...

There is no housekeeping service at this hotel in regard to rooms. However the rooms are mostly in good shape and you can’t beat the location. Update: 11/7/84 we didn’t stay beyond the weekend and was miss informed about housekeeping service, looks like it is available if staying longer then a weekend.
Beautiful location in Ogunquit with a superb view on the ocean. Rooms were clean even though room service was not offered. Although room service was not offered (even after talking with the cleaning lady) we did get quick service to get extra towels and such. I would definitely come back!
We decided to stay here this year and it was a GREAT decision. We came the week before Halloween and they had beautifully decorated the grounds. The staff was friendly and Polite. Our room was clean, updated and had a gorgeous ocean view. The Restaurant and Bar here is also GREAT! You also have access to the Marginal Way. There is accommodations across the street, however ocean side is the BEST! We...
Loved everything about this hotel, the view, the amazing and convenient restaurant on site. There are multiple pools so you can bounce from indoor, to outdoor, and two different hot tubs (one allows 10 and under for age). Right outside the restaurant area there are a bunch of lounge chairs, fire pits, and soft turf to relax. My family had such an amazing time and we will back!
Overall, the Anchorage is a nice place to stay, but I do feel it is a bit overpriced for what you get. For the same amount of money you can get flight and hotel to some other destinations for around $300 more. The pool area is nice, but is very crowded as the pools are not that big. The thing is, there aren't many places with pools in OGT, especially on the marginal way. The room we stayed in, in...
Fantastic experience. I used to go when I was a child and it’s my first time back with my two little boys and husband. The whole trip was idyllic. Live music on the lawn overlooking the ocean and adjacent to the marginal way. It was wonderful with kids. While the boys were sleeping, my husband brought back delicious food and drinks from the on-site restaurant a few feet from our room. We sat outside...

We booked this place based on the good reviews it had received. Well, here's another one. If you want the quaint Maine experience without breaking the bank, this is it! The rooms aren't fancy, just very cool down to the smallest detail. Bed super comfy. And the view! Incredible! Breakfast was included, homemade muffins and fresh fruit and great coffee! And a fantastic staff! What a gem!
The front desk that received us as we checked in was the most friendly, patient and informative staff among the few other hotels we stay during our one week fall foilege vacation. Parking is tight in the town where the lodge is located. However, we managed to park at our own spot a bit prior check in time. Basic standard room but good size. Bed is comfortable. Breakfast comes with reasonable varieties...
We had a small, but charming room. Everything was so clean and welcoming, from the lobby to the immaculate lawn area, the breakfast room and our hotel room. The staff is amazing! They made us feel like family. A special shout out to Cleo and Rick! There was another young man who worked the desk in the evenings. I didn't get his name, but he was so helpful, as well. What a fun group of people...
Gave five stars but since they seem to have abandoned their “no children” policy, it’s not been as enjoyable. Many parents could care less that their children are disturbing everyone. They commandeer the pool with their shouting brats. Then the infestation of children spreads to the front lawn. Never a moment of peace. They take over the porch, running around, shouting, screaming, & speaking loudly...

The Dunes on the Waterfront
Ogunquit, 518 Main Street 🧭 Map
Loved everything about the Dunes on the Waterfront. We have been to Ogunquit many times over the past 40 years, and have stayed at several properties. This is by far our new favorite! Great location, well appointed rooms, friendly, helpful staff, and property is clean and well-maintained.
Beautiful view of sunrise over the water and the dune. Very helpful staff, clean room and good location. Couple of great breakfast places to walk to. Would stay here again and try a cabin next time instead of just the one room.
Relaxing, quiet, cozy. Definitely recommend this for anyone, especially first-time visitors to the area. A highlight of our vacation. Somewhat secluded location with cottage-style accommodations. Beautiful, well-maintained location on the fringe of the downtown Ogunquit hustle. Beautiful views of sunrise and sunsets across the bay.
The Dunes was a delightful surprise. It is a series of charming small cottages spread out in a lovely setting in a great location near downtown Ogunquit. Although we were staying in one of the smaller cottages it met our needs perfectly. There was a nice sitting area, a comfortable bed, a good shower, and enough room so that we didn't feel cramped. We look forward to returning!
Beautiful, serene and peaceful property tucked away with incredible views of Ogunquit River and dunes opposite Ogunquit beach -- but still close enough to walk to all the shops and restaurants of Main Street. We loved it and would definitely visit again. Everyone there was warm and friendly, and the cottages and grounds were meticulously cared for. Thanks for making our visit so special.
Ate in the restaurant/ bar. Food was creative take on Italian classics. Very good. Service was great!

The Footbridge Beach Motel is a great find. The room had 2 comfortable doubles, microwave, and fridge. The bathroom looks brand new. There is a huge supply of towels available in the room. Everything is up to date and very clean. The location is great. The beach is a short walk down the street. The center of town is a mile down the Main Street. Once we parked our car at the motel we never took it...
Always the perfect getaway. The weather, thankfully, was perfect for the last weekend in July. The pool, staff, location and accommodations cannot be beat! The hosts Mark and Scott are great, easy to talk to and super helpful. The pool is so amazing, clean, and relaxing. The footbridge beach is a short walk from the room and no need to pay to park. We look forward to staying there licated next to some...
We really loved our 14-day stay at Footbridge! The motel is an easy 5 minute walk to the beach. The rooms (and beds) were spotless and serviced really well by the housekeeping crew. The pool water is clean, clear and warm... and the pool area is beautifully landscaped with the most soothing music playing in the background. The owners are seemingly always on-site and respond to any requests immediately...
We recently had a wonderful stay at the Footbridge Beach Motel! Our room was beautiful and comfortable, and there are tables and chairs outside each room to enjoy the freshly made coffee each morning. The motel has a gorgeous pool and patio area as well, and is a short walk from Footbridge Beach. The owners live on the property and were very friendly and gracious. We’re looking forward to our next...
Location and value! Rooms are updated and very clean. Walking distance to a beautiful family friendly beach saved us $25/day in parking fees. This end of the beach is less crowded too. Several outdoor spaces with ample comfortable seating plus grills and picnic tables. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Even though it’s on the road traffic noise wasn’t an issue for sleeping. Beds are comfortable and...
We have stayed at this motel in Ogunquit for about 4 years now. Always clean, private and comfortable. Very close to downtown and other places we consider it our second home!

During checkin there were muffins baking in the oven for the next day - which was a pleasant start to our stay. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, and all staff that I met were very pleasant. It was raining so we had 4 friends over and somehow managed to play games around the table. The next morning I was surprised at the excellence of the continental breakfast. The coffee was very good! A delightful gem of a place. Staff went above and beyond to make us feel like returning friends. Everything kept immaculately clean. Gas grills available to guests to cook out lunch or dinner. They supply all of the utensils, pots, silverware, dishes and even table cloths and wineglasses! Nearby clean sandy beach with paid parking lot.
Me and my two friends decided to take a girls trip and we stayed here. It was wonderful. The A.C was also a great addition because many places do not offer ac. It was clean and tidy and everyone there was so nice! If you’re looking for a good place to stay close to the beaches would highly recommend staying here!
I stayed here for a ladies weekend with family members. We were upgraded to a suite since we had a party of 5. The woman at the front desk was so helpful and knowledgeable about the area, suggestions for parking downtown, etc. We took advantage of the complimentary breakfast both mornings and it was simple yet tasty both days. Everything about our stay was great, except that the pool was out of commission...
My family & I have been coming to this motel since before I was born, this year was my first year bringing my own family. While the owners may have recently changed the hospitality has not. Our room was clean & stocked, housekeeping was always eager to get us what we needed in terms of towels, water cups, etc… both ladies at the front desk for check in & check out were friendly, prompt & happy to give...

Look Nowhere else, just Stay here!! This place is adorable and they are incredibly hospitable. Even offered to pack our breakfast to go! THAT was delicious (blueberry muffins, fruit, etc). Sad we didn’t stay here longer. Perfect location, walking distance to the “must-see” Perkins Cove (and several other dining places). HIGHLY recommend!!
We have stayed here now 3 times and have never been disappointed. Everything is clean and comfortable and our hosts Scott and Bev are always so welcoming and accommodating! Love sitting by the fire pit on the patio with a glass of wine! We are already planning our return trip in the near future.
Located just steps away from Perkins Cove and the Marginal Way, the Yardarm Village Inn is truly a gem! My husband and l were fortunate to have the opportunity to spend  a few days there from June 19th to the 21st. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable. It consisted of a sitting room, bedroom and bathroom with a spacious shower. We really enjoyed our breakfast on the front porch - delicious...
I loved my visit at Yardarm Village Inn. It was close to Perkins Cove and the Marginal Way. The inn owners were very nice and accommodating. The rooms were cozy and had everything you need. And last, but not least, Scott the owner makes the best blueberry muffins every morning.
From the moment we arrived until we were getting in the car to leave, Scott and Beverly were gracious hosts. This was the best B&B experience we have had. Great location - walking distance to everything yet quiet. Delicious breakfast - the muffins were great. Lots of little extras and nice touches. We'll be back!
Great blueberry muffin and fresh fruit breakfast ... Wonderfully friendly innkeepers ... Will definitely be back!

Love this place… lovely rooms and great owners/staff who made us feel very welcome! Love the breakfast, happy hour, location, easy walk to marginal way …
Six of us, all childhood best friends, meet for a beach trip at a different location every summer. Blue Shutters is perfection! The rooms are fresh and modern, and with the amenities we were looking for. The staff are above and beyond friendly, attentive, and thoughtful. They even left a delicious surprise birthday cake in my room. Come and stay in an inn that looks like it is straight from a bright...
It is obvious that owners Lawrence and Glen (and their staff) LOVE what they do and take so much pride in delivering an excellent, fun and beachy BnB experience. We stayed in the Portland suite at Blue Shutters. It was beautifully decorated, the bed was so comfy, and it was super convenient to access from our car in the provided off-street parking. The only downside to that particular room is that...
Luxe and charming. Our stay was fantastic, this place has the softest sheets, the plushest towels and is beautifully decorated. Short walk to the marginal way, downtown and the beach! The hosts are super friendly and the whole place feels cozy and welcoming!
My wife and I stayed in the Trellis House, but spent plenty of time at Blue Shutters Inn for breakfast and coffee. The amenities were incredible. Laurence, Glen, and their staff clearly took so much time and care to re-design these properties. Everything was just so welcoming and warm. And comfortable! The breakfasts were phenomenal. This is a must stop location if you are in the Ogunquit area. Especially around Halloween the town has some great Halloween decorations.
Amazing location with a ocean view, impressive and beautiful facility, lovely staff with great customer service skills
We had a lovely stay in the Carriage House! Beautiful location, perfect accommodations, very friendly employees- from housekeeping to the ladies who greet you! Highly recommend and hope to return!
We love the Marginal Way House! It has become “our place” to stay in Ogunquit. We loved it before renovations and are pleased with the decks on the Wharf House after the renovations. The Marginal Way House has a comfortable, unpretentious feel, off the Shore Road yet walkable to everywhere we want to go.
Marginal Way House has the BEST lawn to sit and enjoy the view, right next to the footpath and off the main road (not noisy like other yard views). This was a last-minute, week-before booking and the staff was polite and I appreciated that they had contact-less check in. The room was cozy for my partner and I, the tiled bathroom and waterfall shower were a fantastic surprise!! I've stayed here before...
The breakfast here is very good when you come here! Also I love staying here over the fourth of July because they have a huge celebration which is the best!
