We just stayed at The Island House Hotel and were very pleased! We usually rent a condo when coming to the beach, but were only coming for a short trip, so decided to try a hotel. Great decision! After driving 12 1/2 hours and not being able to check into our reserved hotel they were able to accommodate us @430 am. Hotel is clean. Every room is ocean view. Staff is very friendly, even the maintenance crew. Pool is clean and maintained and the beach is 200 yards out the back door. Definitely one of our favorite new vacation spots.

I love staying here when I come to Orange Beach. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Since I’ve stayed last time, they have been upgrading nicely. Our stay was enjoyable enough, however, the hotel needs to install soft-close hinges on every entry door, bathroom door, and balcony door. We had a great stay! The room was clean, cozy and the view was great. Right on the main stretch of orange beach, breakfast was great. My only complaint would be the tiki bar closes too early and it would be nice if the pool had adult hours after 10. But nothing to bat an eye at. We will definitely be returning.

We stopped here, for 1 night, on our way back home from Florida. The lady at the front desk, Liz, made our check in the easiest process ever! She was so very busy yet made us feel like we were not being rushed to help the next person. Room was very spacious and clean. The kids absolutely LOVED the pool and the short walk to the beach. Every staff member I ran into was very friendly. The hotel is kept very clean and seems to be safe. Nice amenities, a relaxing bar by the pool, and a great view from our room right on the beach. We stayed for 4 nights and had no issues. It was wonderful. Would definitely recommend.

We have been coming here since the hotel initially opened and can see how things have changed. There used to be a complimentary coffee/espresso bar in the lobby and opened a cafe instead. We enjoyed our stay here. Great view of the beach from our room. The room was very clean and the "fit and finish" was great. The pool was well maintained and there are two bars on-site. Great place to stay. 8-10 minutes to the The Cotton Bayou Public beach that I went to each day I stayed here. Air Conditioner was great. Bed was comfortable. Great experience great hotel. The only disappointment was the Wharf which we expected to be like an entertainment district but mostly was closed or empty for our time there. Otherwise, location is nice as it's a close drive to either Gulf Shores or Orange beach.

I walked in and was blown away. I was there for a business trip n this hotel was great. Waking distance to everything at the wharf. The only prob I had was I could hear people in thier rooms. But over all it was great n will deff be back.

Our second time staying at this Holiday Inn Express. This hotel is uniquely decorated & very clean. We have never stayed at a Holiday Inn Express that was not worthy of all positive reviews! Pros-location, great customer service. Very clean pool area. Excellent free breakfast. Cons- needs some updating,parking, and no coffee pot in your room. All in all a great stay. Right on the beach, employees are always visible and present. They keep the rooms and community and pool areas clean. Could use a few updates but not a deal killer especially with all of the other amenities.

I LOVED staying here! We walked in and the room King suite studio was really spacious and clean. The amenities were perfect. Beach access was a bonus. I will definitely stay here again.

I highly recommend that you stay in the 2 bedroom condo. It is huge, and we had the best view of the ocean. I will definitely return and bring more people.

Loved it. We rented a condo for vacation and had a very nice stay. Great view of the gulf, indoor and outdoor pools and easy access of the beach any time of day. Maintenance and the cleaning crew stayed on top of everything.

Was ok. Wasn't impressed due to the fact that it was very dusty, no ice machines, they were all broken. The cleaning fee was ridiculous because they asked their guests to clean up way too much and take out the trash on top of that. There was no ocean view and they advertise ocean view. So I was not impressed at all.

Ok is all I can say I wouldn't go back too many other condos allot cheaper with better views. It is a clean establishment.

The location is excellent, the beach is so close, it was great to sit on the balcony and enjoy the sunrise. The staff was friendly and helpful the whole time we stayed. The bed was comfortable and the room was very nicely updated.

After looking at several different hotels we decided to stay here for the price. You usually get what you pay for but we really enjoyed staying here. This was a very decent hotel and a great location. Breakfast was just OK, but that was as expected. Mattresses are relatively firm and a selection of pillows in each room. Regular King Room had shower only, no bath. Room was mostly clean, although some surfaces were missed. Facility seems relatively new, so not much built-up grime. Would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I really enjoyed staying here for our beach vacation. The room was very nice and clean. We loved being right on the beach! Staff was nice.
