Each suite features two 42 LCD Televisions, private balconies with stunning views of the surrounding mountain range or city. The hotel is too old. The shower is still broken. The hotel does not provide any service. I don't know how the price of more than 2,000 yuan a night came out. The furniture feels like it will break soon. The bedding is very poor. It feels like it has been used for at least five years. The key is that the room lighting is very dim. In addition, the room is old. I dare not turn off the lights to sleep at night. This is the first time I have given a six-bad review. I really can't stand it.

The facilities are too poor, and the price and quality are too different! I can only say that the Hyatt brand is too rubbish! The hygiene is so dirty! This is the first and last time I stay in a hotel of this brand! Don't come to this hotel! Thunder of thunder!

I couldn't have picked a better place to stay in Palm Springs! The cabana suite is absolutely worth it if you have children. You can go in and out of your room to the pool and order food/drinks right on your own patio. Our 2 year old was in heaven in the pool! And the breakfast is delicious too, but it is not complimentary. They can charge it to your room if you want. Great breakfast burrito! The hotel is within walking distance to tons of restaurants and shops!

Really enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Palm Springs. It’s located conveniently in the center of downtown Palm Springs. The restaurants and shops are within walking distance. Love the statue of Marilyn Monroe which is just a few blocks from the hotel. Marilyn Monroe statue is so cool and creative. Overall, the staff of the hotel were very helpful and friendly. We will come back in the future for sure

This hotel is in the best location.
It's right in the middle of Palm Canyon.
You can literally walk to everything, restaurants, bars, shopping, live music... anything you can think of.
We had a Palm Canyon view balcony suite which I loved.
We didn't have any road noise at night and it was great to hang on the balcony with a drink to people watch.
The hotel has a great little bar that opens out to the pool.
The pool is tiny considering the size of the hotel.
We actually ended up skipping a pool hang because we could find two chairs to drag next to each other so kind of a bummer.
The beds are super comfortable and the hotel overall is very quiet which was great for a relaxing weekend.
The staff is super nice.
You definitely see a lot of age and really just a way of things being unkept.
Water stains on the ceiling over the bed, wallpaper peeling in many spots, the bar/fridge area doors were broken.
The couch just sinks all the way down when you sit on it, chairs have lots of stains and holes, broken light on the balcony.
Everything being said, we might stay here again just because you really can't hope for a better location but, she definitely needs some TLC.

I booked a hotel for a customer, and it should be a good hotel. But Ctrip charged a high agency fee, which was actually just to get an invoice for reimbursement. They charged an extra 20% in handling fees.

Front desk and service workers are very friendly, polite and responsive. Yes the hotel is outdated, but it is in a prime location, is very clean, and service is excellent. The hotel itself is still quite beautiful and has a definite charm to it if you’re willing to explore. Overall we had a wonderful stay and will be booking again. The rooms all have private balconies which definitely is a bonus. Thank you Palm Springs Hyatt for a lovely Easter break vacation!!!

The hotel is in a great location, right in the heart of Palm Springs

This hotel is adequate at best, it charges premium prices yet doesn't deliver a premium experience.
The good
The reception area is nice and so is the pool. The location is in the center of town and in a walkable area. Hotel parking(for a fee) is convenient. The rooms are spacious and the bedding is nice.
The bad
The staff is often absent and hard to find. As many have said the rooms are dated and in desperate need of a refresh. The pullout couch in our suite had no sheets (had to ask for them), the mattress was gross and uncomfortable. It was fine for the kids but I wouldn't recommend it for adults. Our king bed was fine. The carpeting in the hallways was sad.
Overall it was all right for a couple of nights. But not what I expect from a "higher" end hotel.
