Reviews
The good, huge room, plenty of parking. If you are a pool person you will probably like the pool and bar setup.
The bad, there was no microwave. There was a coffee maker but no sweetener or creamer in the room. I had to go to the restaurant to get what I needed. The staff was friendly. Felt like maybe this was a one time mistake but as we did not leave room until 11am our room did not get made up and I had to get sweetener and creamer again on day two.
I normally get hotels on the cheaper side. So the resort fee and stocked mini bar and pricey restaurant made me uncomfortable. 3 street tacos $15.
Overall, it was a good stay—relatively affordable for Coachella weekend. The hotel is definitely a bit rundown, and the front desk staff weren’t the friendliest. That said, there were a lot of parties happening, which made the atmosphere fun. Our air conditioner made some wild noises throughout the night, and the carpet was pretty dirty. Luckily, we just needed a place to crash before heading to the festival. It’s about an hour from the festival grounds.
Be aware as a family friendly hotel there may be many children…often loudly playing the corn hole and ping pong games, at the pool. Granted, we didn’t look specifically for adults only, although the marketing for the hotel doesn’t feature many families so our expectation was…less kids. Not a negative, just something to be aware of depending on what you want during your vacation.
