Amazing location. Perfect for meetings in Palo Alto. Walking distance to everything. Room was super comfortable, great ambience and comfort. Room size is definitely on the small side, I guess that gives the feeling of being in Tokyo. Love the light color wood and utilization of space. Water pressure was horrible for a $500 night hotel and I was on the 3rd floor, not that high. Nice sound quality and overall comfort.

good hotel on awesome place. Only thing that is really annoying to me is the receptionist lady I had when checking out on 08/23 around 9 am. She (a black lady) doesn’t really want to service me and with very bad attitude. I cannot believe this is the service I got in a 5 star Japanese style hotel.
In comparison, all the other receptionists and valets are really nice, no complaints at all.

Great location. Restaurant downstairs is amazing with friendly staff and chef - they accommodated me even though I arrived 30 minutes before the kitchen closed and the food quality was still up to par. Valet parking is not available after like 10 PM, but I did not get a notification for that until the night of the second day, after I’ve checked out. Requested late checkout but still lost my keycard access after breakfast which was really annoying. Overall still a positive experience, but it’s probably deserved a 4.5

Nobu is always an excellent choice for staying in the premium/luxury segment. Nice clean rooms, clean and cozy bathrooms.
As in many California places, you might be surprised by water pressure in showers because of regulations (after Texas, it's almost non-existent in California).
Also, this location has only outsourced valet parking, and it works only until 10 PM. If you arrive later, you will have to park your car yourself (there are a couple of options around, but most of the time, you will have to walk at least one block).
Because of valet and not 24/7 in-room dining i can't give this location more than 4/5, but still a great choice.

If I could give more than 5 stars on service, I would have done that. The staff’s attention to detail is amazing. Had an excellent experience checking in and checking out.
Nobu in Palo Alto is a beautiful hotel with a wonderful cafe in a Japanese garden. I was there every morning during our 5-day stay at 7 am sharp. Breakfast in that peaceful garden is a perfect start to a busy day ahead.
The rooms are extremely very organized and thoughtfully done. Particularly impressive are the lighting and inter-connected blinds (sleep and wake modes), very comfortable chairs in the room, the toilet with the latest Toto fittings, and Japanese style shower with wooden slats. It’s also the only hotel I have ever stayed in that also provides flat iron for hair, in addition to the hair dryer.
The room had a balcony and I hope to enjoy that on our next trip!

We ate at the new restaurant, Nobu. Everything we had was excellent and the servers were polite, but not as discrete as you'd expect for such a nice restaurant. There were a few confusing interactions which resulted in is receiving food we didn't order. But small kinks are forgivable during opening week. Definitely worth returning.

The hotel lobby is a bit cramped but we were there for Nobu. The service is pretty good at Nobu considering it was the second week they were open. We are not impressed by the quality of the raw fish. But the classic dishes were excellent: the lobster, the popcorn shrimp, the okra, the shishito peppers, and black cod.

Staff at the Epiphany were pleasant as usual. We ate at the recently opened Nobu. The restaurant is small, but well designed. The west wall is open air to Hamilton which is nice. Food was great. The menu is similar to the Malibu location and much smaller than Aspen.
