The hotel was great. Location with markets close by. rooms were spacious and atmosphere very relaxing. I enjoyed my stay there. Pool side room with a patio was a great place to have coffee or snacks.
Overall a pretty nice hotel, with nice amenities. The pool looked pretty decent. The fitness center is well stock for cardio, but a bit on the lacking side for weights. The hotel room itself was pretty good. The wallpaper installation had flaws (but who cares right?) and the carpet was very outdated. The TV / channels was all decent. There was an ethernet port, but it was plugged into a Ruckus that...
I stayed in the suite, so this may be a bit biased. My room was really large, clean and really nice amenities. The customer service was great and the housekeeping team always did a great job. I highly recommend
pool, location near restaurants and Stanford, gym, staff friendly, calm, clean room, beds confortable .
Was here for a week on a business trip around Silicon Valley. Quiet area at night in terms of walking up and down the main road. I was in room 119 which had a motel feel to it and it was very dated. The Beatles once stayed in the place as The Cabana before Crowne Plaza turned up, but I was half expecting Black Sabbath to be next door wrecking it. The room had a damp musty smell, which was probably...
Great location if you are planning on going to a concert at the Shoreline amphitheater-10min drive. Front desk staff was friendly and assisted us quickly. Got two Spanish burgers at the bar, which were delicious! The hotel itself was nice and clean, the only complaint about the room would be is, it’s a little outdated and not enough mirrors. Would stay again!

This is one of the nicest hotels in the area with very comfortable rooms. The location was very close to the center of town and the rent a car right in the hotel was very convenient. Definitely would stay here again is the opportunity presents itself.
The restaurant here is really solid. My burger was perfectly rare though crumbling. However my meal came with both cole slaw and fries. Plus it was pretty cheap overall.
Lovely hotel with big rooms. Walking distance to restaurants both ways. You need to ask for water though - they do not offer bottled water in your rooms unless you ask for them. Ask for shower gel too
We asked for a pool access room. We have sliding doors right out to the pool! Enjoyed a lovely evening and did not have to slip through the halls wet. Convenient location!

My stay here was for business. I loved the services and professionalism shown by the staff. The rooms too were up to date. The only reason that I wouldn't rate it a 5 star is because even at the price paid for the room, the breakfast wasn't included in the room. I think asking the guest for an additional 30$ is a deal breaker.
The bed and linens are always so clean and fresh. Great quality to ensure a great night’s rest. Tip: get complimentary coffee in the mornings for a great hot cup of coffee or tea. Don’t bother getting a latte or special coffee from Quattro, it will be $10 by the time you tip and they only have one size which is small.
Stayed here a week ago! The hotel has great facilities like a swimming pool and a well stocked gym. Staff are friendly and inviting! Room service is very quick and anything we requested through the app was brought hastily. The food is really good as you’d expect from the Four Seasons. Room was nice and spacious and the beds were great! The sound proofing is amazing; we’re very light sleepers and we...
I've traveled to the Bay Area for work dozens of times, and this was my first time staying at the Four Seasons. It definitely won't be my last! I absolutely loved everything about my stay. The bed was heavenly (planning to buy the linens for my own home!), the room was spacious and bright, and the room service was outstanding. I worked late every evening so ended up eating in my room way more often...
Great spa, relaxing pool and steam room. Massage therapists are very knowledgeable. Exceptional friendly service and attention to detail.
This is a favorite hotel of mine. Staff is wonderful, food is great. So relaxing to come during stressful buisness trips. Always love it here!!

Mostly excellent. Beds very comfortable, shower great, lots of fluffy towels. We had a suite and the kitchen facilities were great. We loved the pool area. Not many sun loungers but we were the only users so that was fine. Great breakfast. Bottomless coffee.
Stay here for business meeting, and the front desk are very pleasant and helpful. My suite is spacious with kitchen, dining, and office. Full breakfast is adequate. It's very convenient to go cross street for CVS, and variety restaurant are walking distance, too.
Aside from the great breakfast, there's excellent custom service, and room quality. The staff is friendly and helpful; rooms are spacious and the beds, comfortable. There's access to a grill and a small courtyard for social events.
Enjoyed starting here. Great breakfast included. Maintenance very responsive. Front desk very amiable. Easy place to stay.
Residence inn is my favorite Marriott brand of hotels and this one is no different than what I'm used to. The fire pit at night was the best to just sit down and relax talking to people. I will definitely come here again.
Comfortable, friendly, efficient, with outside and inside parking. Note, they recently began charging 15/night per car. Very high rates, not super deluxe furnishings. But, very large rooms, good beds and sofas, effective kitchenette for those lonely nights away on business.

What an incredible hotel, great staff, nice people. The nicest rooms I have ever stayed in. Great hot breakfast every morning. I will certainly be staying here again.
Great property! Incredibly well-maintained and clean. Every staff member I came across was very nice and seemed to be enjoying themselves at work. The room was spacious and impeccably clean and the amenities were great! I’d highly recommend and would stay again if I’m ever in the area.
The front desk gentleman named Gio was amazing and so kind-hearted! I appreciated his high level of customer service and helpfulness! He helped make my stay a great one indeed
Very pleased with my stay at Homewood Suites. Staff was helpful and facility was very clean. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The desk was really nice to get work done. Parking lot is a little tight as there are not a ton of spots.

Lovely hotel located in a convenient location. Pleasant and prompt customer service. Reminded me of old school hospitality - warm and welcoming. Everything was A+ from food to bed to the outdoor fireplace which they lit up for us and our toddlers. In room dining was great - had 4 meals and each one was close to perfect. Highly recommended.
There is an absolutely charming little tapas and wine bar, open to the public, just inside this 4-star hotel, at the top of a long, sweeping staircase. Sit by the fire in the library-like atmosphere, and let Ivan prepare your seasonal cocktail. The Albondigas- Spanish meatballs- are one of the best things I've ever tasted. Open every evening until 10 pm.
What used to be the Garden Court Hotel was recently remodeled and rebranded as the el PRADO and they did a really spectacular job with it! I spent two lovely nights here and hosted an event in their awesome conference space. The room was absolutely fantastic, extremely comfortable with great views. The conference space was really impressive and very unique. The Bibliotheca room was particularly awesome...
Such a beautiful hotel! It's gone through a remodel so everything is new new. Rooms are beautifully designed. The staff is fantastic and very welcoming. There's a tapas bar/lounge on the 2nd floor. You must try it! Great for a solo trip or a getaway with friends. I can't wait to come back!
Had the most lovely time at el Prado. So many inviting places to sit and relax- and so in love with the mid century modern feel. The food and drink at Spanish Tapas Bar were just delicious! The croquettes and the old fashion were among my favorites. And the staff were absolutely delightful! Jeannelle our bartender was fabulous! They had a wedding event across from Tapas and it was beautifully decorated...

This is the loudest hotel I’ve stayed in. You can hear conversations in both rooms on either side and every foot step above you. Not to mention the noisy A/C which is incredibly loud. I can’t believe there’s not any sound proofing. Also there’s construction above and drilling that woke us at 7:45ish am Sun morning and going at 8:15pm still. Just awful. If I wouldn’t lose my Hilton points and $ I’d...
A little tough to properly rate this one. The staff was very friendly, the hotel was very clean, and the location is good for quite a lot in the general area. But the value for the hefty price tag just wasn't there. Pricey rooms, extra parking costs, and no free breakfast all conspire to make this a 3 star hotel at 5 star prices. The location was minutes from my client, which was great, but Silicon...
Really nice little hotel. Underground parking. Room (upgraded as a Diamond member) was spacious. Lobby and foyer were beautiful. All encounters with the front office staff were excellent. Definitely a good place to stay!
I adore this hotel so much. Everyone at this institution is incredibly kind and constantly seems to be smiling. The front desk staff was quite helpful when I needed assistance when I was here for a meeting. Additionally, I dropped all of my food on the floor as I was returning to my room: ((Bummer)) and one of the staff members, I believe his name was Andrew, was really polite and helpful in scooping...

Nice enough hotel. Nothing super special, but nice for what it is. Friendly and helpful staff for the most part. Don’t ask them to assist at all with the business center. The girl at the front desk could care less and showed no interest in assisting me. I liked the exercise room. It was nice. Rooms very comfortable. Bed was comfy, as well.

A very nice courtyard property modern and up to date. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Their fitness center is nice with enough machines to avoid the log jam in the morning. A great outdoor patio for relaxing or socializing especially at night. My only real knock is the price. Early week business travelers frequently sell this place out and drive the process to 3+ times base rates.
This hotel was definitely a step above the typical Courtyard. There was a happy hour that included free pizza and snacks. The bar was a step above other Courtyards with a few taps. The restaurant was also just a little nicer feeling. The staff were all very friendly.
Beautiful room. Staff was very nice. Free popcorn, surgared donut holes, wonderful pizza and veggie snacks in the afternoon. Can't miss happy hour as well. And to help work off all the indulgences there's a fitness room. Great experience.
Nice, well-kept hotel. Restaurant isn't bad and staff is friendly. They don't have room service but you can order from the restaurant and they'll package it to go; you just have to go pick it up at the café. Free parking is offered in an underground garage.
Frankly, VERY pleased with all aspects of my stay. Great accommodating service, very good food and drinks and a very clean and comfortable room with an updated bathroom suit. In general it seems that all of the guests that I have encountered in the public areas of this hotel are friendly and respectable as well
Hotel is still great. Had a single king room for 3 nights, staying for work. Front desk and bar staff is great. Location is great for access to companies off Page Mill in Palo Alto. The fire pits out back are nice to relax after a long day.

good hotel on awesome place. Only thing that is really annoying to me is the receptionist lady I had when checking out on 08/23 around 9 am. She (a black lady) doesn’t really want to service me and with very bad attitude. I cannot believe this is the service I got in a 5 star Japanese style hotel. In comparison, all the other receptionists and valets are really nice, no complaints at all.
Great location. Restaurant downstairs is amazing with friendly staff and chef - they accommodated me even though I arrived 30 minutes before the kitchen closed and the food quality was still up to par. Valet parking is not available after like 10 PM, but I did not get a notification for that until the night of the second day, after I’ve checked out. Requested late checkout but still lost my keycard...
Amazing location. Perfect for meetings in Palo Alto. Walking distance to everything. Room was super comfortable, great ambience and comfort. Room size is definitely on the small side, I guess that gives the feeling of being in Tokyo. Love the light color wood and utilization of space. Water pressure was horrible for a $500 night hotel and I was on the 3rd floor, not that high. Nice sound quality and...
Nobu is always an excellent choice for staying in the premium/luxury segment. Nice clean rooms, clean and cozy bathrooms. As in many California places, you might be surprised by water pressure in showers because of regulations (after Texas, it's almost non-existent in California). Also, this location has only outsourced valet parking, and it works only until 10 PM. If you arrive later, you will have...
If I could give more than 5 stars on service, I would have done that. The staff’s attention to detail is amazing. Had an excellent experience checking in and checking out. Nobu in Palo Alto is a beautiful hotel with a wonderful cafe in a Japanese garden. I was there every morning during our 5-day stay at 7 am sharp. Service could get better. I have to ask every time for refills of coffee or water. The carpet in the room is too old. No business room or other amenities like sauna or hot tube or pool. More like boutique hotel. Quality of other stuff is good. I like the restrooms here. They have the lux toiletries

Stayed twice at this peaceful hotel twice. The rooms are spacious, the ambience beautiful and the staff very prompt and polite. I have been for an office off-site visit, and the hotel is conveniently located close to Menlo Park.
Fantastic, classic, pride of ownership hotel with active involvement of original ownership…One of my favorite hotels of any class, anywhere and I’ve stayed here dozens of times. If Four Seasons was at the same price I’d still stay here for its location, charm, gardens, and service. Restaurant is top of the line and it’s fun to see all the artwork from owners family and Palo Alto history. Rooms and...
Lovely boutique hotel with a Bohemian vibe. Friendly staff, fast check-in process, spacious rooms, and decent minibars. The decor is a bit outdated but the rooms and common areas are super clean. Also offers room service, has a large heated outdoor pool, and poolside restaurant with a bar.
Loved the room space and the beautiful pond and garden. Very comfortable, has a older Hawaii vibe to it.. Nice electric fireplace gave our room a wonderful glow and when you look out your window there's a pond with duck. At night the lights around the grounds gives a romantic vibe.. The shower was really small, there was an old smell in the room and they neeed to modernize the room more. Otherwise...
Dinah's is our favorite hotel in Mountain View. No fusses laid back area with lovely, clean rooms. Great customer service. We enjoyed room service and eating poolside for Thanksgiving. The food from the restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced. We will be back!

My stay here was absolutely delightful. The rooms are amazing, the vibe is great. This hotel is really top tier. All the employees, especially the ones at the reception treat you really like guests and not only like customers. The service is outstanding. The Stanford Terrace Inn is big on charm but just short on modernity and upkeep. Much of the decor is run down and my room needed repairing/maintenance. The breakfast was tolerable but lacking any inspiration. For the price I certainly expect higher quality. But, the market for lodging in the area is ridiculously high anyway.
Only been there one evening but so far it's nice. Bed was comfortable, rooms are definitely very clean and staff was nice enough. I'll be there for a few more days so let's see if it gets better or worst... But so far so good.
It's really weird the rooms feel like they just took things in their house and put them there. I honestly was shocked by the old look of the rooms and the weird smells. I will try and avoid this place in the future . They're due for a major restoration
Nice and quaint place. Starbucks is just beside it. The breakfast is included and was good. Friendly staff too.

Second time I’ve stayed here and I keep hoping to like it more. The rooms have an overpowering air freshener scent and are all hard surfaces and so echoing and sterile. The common fire pit with daily wine tasting is a highlight and I wish the rooms had some of that ambiance. This stay was marred by endless clanking in the vents or (?) A bit noisy overall - paper thin walls. Check in and staff were...
Picked because of short distance to Stanford Medical for daughter who has mobility issues and uses a rollater walker and a wheelchair. The access to the facilities was not accessible on her own. Tables and seating was bunched together that made it impossible for her to access the fireplace in the outdoor communal patio. The room although accessible was at the farthest end from the communal patio. I...
I had room 106 by the outside patio and I could hear everyone. The AC in the room was loud too. A good quality hotel have quiet rooms, this is not it. The hotel is well renovated but on a poor foundation (thin walls…). Felt overpriced. My bathroom was not like the picture too. On a positive side, the staff was friendly and the outside patio was great.
Amazing customer service. I accidentally booked a room with one king via priceline.com. I meant to book a room with two queen beds. The booking I had was not refundable. After talking to Juno from the customer service, she understood our situation and she provided us a room with extra sofa bed. I admire Juno's outstanding hospitality and the hotel is super clean. I highly recommend this place.
Motel style setup. Included breakfast is very limited in quantity with so so quality. Staff I met was pleasant to interact with.
Clean, modern rooms and friendly staff. Locating quiet. However, rooms were lacking microwaves, even by request. Also, they told me I would have a coffee machine in my room but I did not.

Nice hotel downtown, right above a restaurant. Could not try the breakfast as it opened too late for me to be on time for my meeting.
Update - the amenities list is now correctly showing no air conditioning. Thanks! Original review - Google says it is air conditioned. IT IS NOT!!! The owner needs to see that corrected ASAP. Palo Alto may have had historically wonderful weather, but climate change is real, and if the 90+ temperatures at the end of this September is a portent, the Cardinal needs to consider AC for the future. ...
Located in what I think is the heart of Palo Alto, minutes from Stanford's campus, it would be hard to find a better location. Parking is a little tricky, but doable, with a garage pass option for currently $25/day. The Cardinal is a quirky, old hotel with a lot of character. Like an elevator with the outside door you have to open and close. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice. Beds...
It is a charming 1924-style boutique hotel with friendly staff located in a century-old apartment building and lots of old-world charm throughout. I spent here 4. We came for a conference in Stanford. We were extremely positively struck by this Hotel. It’s by fair the best in its category I’ve been in. This was our first time staying here and we loved it. The hotel is conveniently located near the Stanford campus which is why we close this location. The rooms were clean and we had safe, covered parking.
A decent hotel, although it's more like a motel. Breakfast is ok, although there could be some greater variety (you will end up eating the same stuff every day). One night I couldn't sleep because of loud music from the room upstairs, I had to call the hotel staff to come and tell them to stop. Room is spacious and has good comfort for its price. Staff very friendly and helpful. Wifi worked fine.
Amazing complimentary breakfast every morning, great customer service and nice, clean rooms filled with amenities. Would definitely stay here again!
Awesome, clean, inexpensive, low frills (free breakfast and wifi, small workout room, no pool, no room service), terrific little place to hang your hat for a few nights!

Small hotel with small rooms to match. Fine for my short stay but other great options in the area. Great location a short walk away from University Ave and many shops and restaurants. Ok breakfast with Nespresso coffee and wine reception from 5-6pm.
Nice hotel Friendly staff. Great location. Oddly weird feature there was no door to the bathroom in a standard room. The toilet and shower was in full view to the rest of the room. Also there were no drawers or shelves to put personal items.
Keen has one of the best locations in Palo Alto. They did a nice renovation and it looks great at face value, however there are still a few hints that it is a very old building such as the windows.
Quiet and comfortable but zero amenities and tiny rooms. They should add coffee makers at least. Silly not to include such a thing.
Room was quite small; walls were a bit thin, so you can hear noises from the hallway and the rooms next to you. There is a curtain instead of a door to the bathroom. The dry-erase marker compatible walls are cool though! Overall, a reasonable place for an individual or a couple to stay in Palo Alto.
Booking Pro Tip: If you need a closet or any storage space at all get a premium/deluxe room. Living out of a suitcase? Any other room is fine. 😅
