It was fun, but I had to figure out how to make coffee myself because staff didn’t know how the machine works. Noticeable crumbs, chips and cups on tables from staff themselves, ironically. Cardboard recycling had been full throughout my time there and the garbage and dishwasher is full. Staff stay up past midnight in common area. I’m up before everyone else, check the cameras, oh and the upstairs doors were wide open when I decided to check the balcony for the first time. I’m glad I got to make coffee for myself and others. It’s not fair to those who bust their butts in the busy season. I come from an Army background and believe in standards. The manager, Morrie, is very welcoming and I appreciate such a host who was willing to tour me throughout Park City and give me a tarot card reading. Hope I’ve bookmarked this spot and get a chance to see you again.

Title: Best Kept Secret in Park City – Perfect for Rideshare Drivers, Gamers, and Digital Nomads

As a full-time rideshare driver for Uber and Lyft, I need a place that’s more than just a bed — I need strong Wi-Fi, a hot shower, a kitchen to refuel, and a chill environment to recharge. Park City Hostel delivered on all fronts.

I picked up the facility day pass, which gave me access to the lounge, showers, kitchen, and high-speed internet — and let me tell you, the Wi-Fi here is elite. I tested it playing Black Ops 6, Modern Warfare III, and League of Legends on my gaming laptop. No lag, no packet loss, consistent low ping — this network is better than most hotels, including Marriott, DoubleTree, AC Hotel, Peaks, Best Western, and even some luxury resorts nearby. The connection is rock solid, and perfect for gamers or remote workers.

Beyond the tech, the vibe is super friendly. The people hanging in the lounge were cool and welcoming, and the front desk lady (wish I caught her name) absolutely crushed it. Even on the busiest days, I watched her manage everything with patience and a smile. Great energy, great service.

If you’re a traveler, rideshare driver, gamer, or just someone who needs a reliable base for a day or two in Park City — skip the overpriced hotels. This is the smart move.

Trust the other reviews. This place really is so clean, convenient and affordable. The bathrooms were especially nice. I know it's always a hit or miss with the crowd, but in the time I was there, all the people we met were super friendly. The only thing I'd love them to add is a hot tub on the patio (that would just make it perfect).

Had a pleasant stay for two nights here. The rooms were clean and bathrooms with a shower easily accessible. A simple, but appreciated breakfast was included. The lounge room is very comfortable, offering a pool table, games, and a television. There is also an adjacent kitchen where you can cook your own food if you like. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. Lastly, the hostel is located within walking distance of a few restaurants and a bus station that will take you anywhere in town you need to go for free!

My sister and I stayed here in a basic private queen room and we loved our stay!
The hostel was in a good location. With public busses in park city it was easy to get around without a car.
Everything in the hostel was pretty clean and cozy! We never had any issues having to wait for a bathroom/shower and it is nice that the bathrooms are all shared yet private.
The hostel does a good job of cultivating community & the ski storage room was sweet too!

The only cons of our stay were that the room got quite toasty and I did get some random stains on my socks after walking around our room

Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to park city! It is a great value & I hope to visit again!

This is an average mid range Sheraton Hotel. The service is average. I have an issue with their parking arrangement (received a parking ticket), but the manager said the parking service is managed by a different company. Please make sure you read the signs very very carefully when you park. The front desk never told you to pay attention to all those confusing signs, and the manager never apologized that her employee needs to remind the guests about parking details. Other than that, the experience is OK. They have shuttle to Park City lifts and Deer Valley lifts during the daytime, as well as to Main Street in the evenings. Try to have a room facing outside streets, not the courtyard, where the indoor pool is. The noise from the indoor courtyard pool is amplified, and their sound insolation is quite bad. Their onsite restaurant is not too impressive. Try a neighboring restaurant "Salt Box," where the food is very tasty with very reasonable price.

Upon check-in, the registrar could not find my reservation which had already been paid in (what I thought was) full. She had to call some one to help her. I was asked for a credit card for any incidentals. There was a $50.00 charge put on the card immediately. I was told that at the time of check-out that $50 would be credited back if not used. When I received my credit card statement, there was a $33.04 charge on it from the Sheraton. Upon my call to you, I found out that it was a destination fee. I feel strongly about the fact that all fees should be pointed out at the time of the reservation.

The city was in the midst of road construction which made the entry and exiting from your facility very confusing and difficult. The on-site parking lot is extremely small. The additional parking access to the hotel was across the street that was one of the streets in the middle of the road construction. Not your fault, I do realize, but not conducive for toting luggage.

The people were very nice! I was here in the off season (October 1), so there weren’t a ton of people yet. However, they say that in the winter time the hostel can be completely booked up. Seriously go there!

Amazing place for solo travellers to meet others and going skiing. Super friendly.
It’s basic but it does the job and is great value for money. Great food places nearby. Staff were really helpful and friendly apart from one thing.

I usually stay here on business trips, have not stayed here on a ski trip. Rooms are nice and good size and the service has always been excellent. Nice gym open 24/7 and the Timbers restaurant is nice
