CaliPaso Winery & Villa
Paso Robles, 4230 Buena vista Dr. 🧭 Map
great location, very secluded and private with beautiful grounds
room was spacious and well decorated, very clean with really nice balcony and views
very good breakfast
complete relaxation, will visit again
This is an amazing place to spend the night, especially if romance is on the menu. Big fireplace, big jacuzzi tub, big bed. Have breakfast in town. Theirs isn't worth it.
A small slice of Italy on the Central Coast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt like we were family. The staff are incredibly friendly and cater to your every need. Our breakfast was incredible, hand made by Stephanie. Five stars all the way !! Everything you could ever want from fritata's to french toast. Fresh squeezed orange juice, ranch potatoes, bacon, yogurt, fruit, and smiling faces...
We had an amazing dinner. I had one of the best steak ever, my wife too. You must try the grilled artichoke. Great wine too from their vineyard. Jacob was a great server too (Cabernet). I highly-highly recommend this place!
My husband and I got married at CaliPaso in May 2022 and it was the most magical and beautiful day of our lives!! The venue is drop dead gorgeous and also extremely intimate. The lights strung above and hung on olive trees provided a beautiful ambiance for the reception and there were tons of beautiful areas for photos and different parts of the day. We also loved staying at the venue with our families...
Very nice dinner experience. Food is very good. The chef came around and greeted guests. The chef told us about their cooking classes and gave us a mini tour. I should have taken more pictures. I guess that means I have to come back!

Western States Inn - San Miguel
Paso Robles, 1099 K Street 🧭 Map
I'm very pleased with the room. I see that the owner takes good care of this property and is concerned about his guest. I plan to stay here more often when I visit my family here. Thanks Western States and Merry Christmas
For the area, this establishment, a motel, has a decent price.
Free parking, WiFi and breakfast is also included.
Yes, it is a budget or no frills motel, however, for the price I can recommend it.
( We stayed, the next night, at a much more expensive place -- three to four times more expensive, and it didn't even include breakfast!!)
We needed to stay here at the last minute and they had a vacancy. The bed was comfortable, a functional and clean mini-fridge & microwave we're available for our use was ell as great cable TV options and free WiFi. Grateful to have blown a flat right next to this inn.
Friendly staff always accommodating to our needs. Gave me a good rate when I came for a return visit. Good restaurant across the street. Shops and playground within walking distance.
Not bad for price. Comfortable beds with firm mattress. Microwave and fridge in unit.
Minus 1 star for a roach that I spotted
Hotel itself was shabby for the price. Very expensive for the quality. Service was great, we looked for a room and none were available, but we received a call back when a room opened up. We booked that room, and he called us back again to offer a double queen bedded room to us instead of a single bed, for an equal price. Thank you!

Dunning Ranch Guest Suites
Paso Robles, 1945 Niderer Road 🧭 Map
The facility is a fully equipped house in beautiful surroundings, located in the heart of Paso Robles wine country. We will definitely be back in the fall for the harvest season.
Stayed for a weekend getaway to see Sensario and visit the wine region. We could not have been more thrilled with the accommodations. A true gem in the Paso Robles area.
We stayed in Suite #2 and really enjoyed it. It is well appointed - especially the kitchen - with very comfy beds and fluffy towels. It's a delight to sit on the porch with a glass of wine and some snacks and take in the oak wood on one side and the vineyard on the other. There's a BBQ and a seats outside which make it a great spot for a picnic. We made a tasting appointment with the adjacent vineyard...
Spectacular visit at Dunning Ranch Guest Villa!! We stayed here 5 years ago for our 20th Anniversary and loved it so much, we came back for our 25th! Bob and Joanne were great hosts and we would highly recommend a stay at the Villa along with their wonderful wines!
What a relaxing weekend at the Dunning Ranch Guest Suites! This place has everything you need for your stay. It is like having your own private vineyard house...
Dunning Ranch was our favorite lodging during our "Month on the Road"! Lots of very thoughtful touches and amenities made us feel right at home. We loved it!

Villa Vino at Poalillo Vineyards
Paso Robles, 7970 Vineyard Drive, Atascadero 🧭 Map
Five stars for vibe - low key, peaceful, and comfortable venue. I could've chilled on the patio, all day. Limited space indoors, where local art is sold. However, there's no point in being inside with multiple, shaded, exterior spots from which to choose.
On the downside, the wine was lacking. In its defense, it followed a top vineyard on our tour. Note to self: schedule destinations from younger...
While I cannot attest to the availability of the villa, I can say that this is the entrance to Dilecta Wines. A very small testing room, but with excellent wine and staff. The art work inside the room was created by the winemaker's mother and it's very unique.

Seaside Inn Morro Bay
Morro Bay, 220 Beach Street 🧭 Map
Stayed 3nights booked online with no hassle. Very affordable, friendly and clean. Just feet from morro rock and entertainment. Easy access to everything on foot. If your goal is to find a nice comfortable place within walking distance, this is it. We spent all 3days exploring so the location was perfect. Will definitely book again.
What a great place to stay, very clean and comfortable beds. The gentleman that greeted us was nice and Pleasant. I will definitely stay there again.
Room was good. Refrigerator was not enclosed so it made some noise. Walls kinda thin so we had to sleep with the fan on. Lobby looked nice but had some funky smell. Great location.
Good price but it's dated. A very thin blanket with no extra blankets. Firm bed. But it's close to the embarcadero and you can see Morro Rock from the street. It has a refrigerator and microwave and a small coffee machine.
We had our house fumigated and stayed here twice. Shane is great! very accommodating. Great location. Comfy bed. Definitely recommend for the price!
I was a little worried after reading some reviews for this hotel online, but so far so good. We arrived a few hours ago to a clean, but basic room. The guy at the check in desk was nice. The location is great. Within walking distance of lots of restaurants and shops. This isn't a romantic getaway hotel, but it's perfectly fine for a last minute trip.

Morro Bay, 851 Market Avenue 🧭 Map
First time here. Arrived and was greeted by the nicest receptionist who quickly and thoroughly answered all of our questions. We did not realize that there are physically 2 separate buildings on the property. The main office is in the lower building and the other is across the street slightly higher than the main. If you want street and bay views, stay in the lower, if you want ocean view (We had...
Alvey at the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly and she is a great representative for this hotel .rooms outdated but was very clean and our room had a fire place and a deck looking out over the cute and quaint town and the huge Morrow rock . Thanks for a great night in your establishment.
We stayed 3 nights here in the mini suite. Nice big room with all we needed (old furniture though) . Great location for walking everywhere, along wharf or downtown. Not much of a continental breakfast but staff was great. Nice view of Morro Rock. Would stay here again. We love Morro Bay!
My wife and I haven't been here since before the pandemic. At the last minute we decided to check it out. I didn't get the lady's name but she was very accommodating to what we wanted and we had a great time staying there for our anniversary. Thank you so much.
I wish there could be a 4.5 rating option. The place is old. The units we were in were across the street from the main motel, with an excellent view of parking lots. But, the room was fine
Beds and pillows perfectly comfortable. The bathtub is not fiberglass, it's real, but shallow.
Lisa, the day manager, is totally welcoming and delightful. Their concept of included breakfast is yo hi e you...
Our room was large and clean. The hotel was walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and maritime museum. Included was a light continental breakfast. Desk staff were very helpful and friendly.

Estero Inn
Morro Bay, 501 Embarcadero 🧭 Map
We were welcomed with a complimentary bottle of bubbly - unexpected, and exactly what we were looking for. Served up on the balcony, with an excellent view of the bay. That alone made the stay unusual - and good. I'd stay here again. And Morro Bay was more beautiful than I remembered.
Loved it so much, already booked again for our anniversary! ❤️ Great views, on the water and Very Clean!
Amazing hotel! Intimate and so clean, John received us so nicely, offered shampain and they decorate our room for our honeymoon.
Amazing view to Morro Bay rock and close to restaurant.
We were greeted by John at the front desk and his hospitality and knowledge was second to none. This is a lovely boutique hotel, impeccably clean, well appointed with a fantastic view and delicious food within walking distance.
Thank you for the wonderful visit, April and I had a wonderful time and we highly recommend the Estero Inn. We'll definitely be back!
Cheers!
Excellently run compact inn right on the bay
I chose this inn as a stopover point on my Vancouver to San Diego bike ride because of its waterfront location. It is a compact hotel complex spread over two floors, wheelchair accessible with a large, spacious elevator. Everything from the outdoor area to the reception to the room in its details was excellent and lovingly designed and maintained. The bed...
We had a great experience at Estero Inn in Morro Bay. The service was fantastic, especially manager, Carrie, who made us some wonderful breakfast waffles with fresh strawberries. Our room, the Morro Rock suite, had a wonderful view with a small balcony and fire place. Not large, but very clean and comfortable. We loved sitting out on the deck chairs watching the sunset.
