JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa, Phoenix1 / 49
Phoenix, 5350 East Marriott Drive 🧭 Map
I stated this resort recently for a conference. The room was very large and spacious, It was a king bed room with a small balcony. There was lots of storage between the drawers and the large closet. The king room had a large sectional couch and some smaller tables. Great for working. Very large bathroom With large tub large vanity and a stand up shower. The bed and the linens were quite comfortable...
Beautiful grounds, amazing customer service! The server named John was amazing during my stay—just personable & kind. My only issue was that I couldn’t bring my toddler’s snacks with us to the pool area. Other than that, we had a blast! Will be back!
Amazing! We paid for a day pass to the pools and it was so fun! The service was excellent- our Cabana server, Kara, was on top of everything, refilling drinks and being so friendly! The food was delicious- and we really enjoyed the complimentary popsicles they passed out while we floated in the lazy river! The pools were nice and clean- the slides had long lines but we’re definitely worth the wait...
Beautiful, kid-friendly resort that we accessed from the adjoining “Marriott Canyon Villas” timeshare section. Both properties maintain meticulous bathing areas with multiple pools spread out across the property. This includes a lazy river section and 3 water slides for children/adults about 8 years of age and older. Although a bit pricey, they offer poolside food and beverage service. My only word...
I've traveled and worked in the hotel industry. This property has it all. More important though, is the service. Lots of staff spread well throughout to help with everything. I even had an empty water bottle in my hand as I walked through the lobby, a staff member noticed and asked if they could throw it away for me. This is the level of service that will bring me back. The wood fired pizzas were...
We had a great staycation with our kids. The pools were fun and the lazy river was an added bonus. The slide is a lot smaller than we thought it would be. Wishing they had some slides that bigger kids and adults could enjoy. The rooms were a good size and offered nice amenities. The kid zone near the pool was nice but really small. We loved the ping pong and lawn games. I did get a chance to check...

This property is a 39 acre resort. I live in Phoenix, but felt like I left town to visit a resort. The original resort was built in the 1920's in the art deco style. 2020-2021 it was closed for a year for restoration and upgrades. Much of the property is new with but keeping with the art deco style. The hotel has the main building along with separate hotel building. It has seven pools with cabanas...

airport pickup and drop off and convenient location close to the airport, bed was super comfortable. Have stayed at this hotel several times in the past.
They let you pay to park in their lot and shuttle you to the airport for only $6 per day. Best deal I could find for air port parking. I highly recommend.
I stayed here a few months ago and it was really nice. Decided to stay here again and it got a little ghetto at night! Maybe it's just this weekend. Really nice area!
5 star entrance, 4 star rooms. It's just like any other large corporation hotel. Its fine for what you need to do.
My husband and I used the airport parkinh service and were very pleased. We were gone 16 days and the car was perfect when we came back. Pick up on their shuttle was very easy and quick. I would highly recommend.
My son and I had a great time. Clean rooms, a great pool and the staff was very helpful and pleasant. we had a very enjoyable time.

The pools are beautiful, staff was accommodating to our crew of 300. 1st travel trip with my 18 year old nephew, #PowerUpWeekend2018 was off the hook!
With my family because my dad had a train in a course there. Hotel was great. The only issue is the heat, which is more of an Arizona on August issue than a hotel issue. Would love to enjoy all the stuff offered here in December when it's bearable. Room it's well laid out, with the ability close off the bedroom from a tv/sitting room.
Nice hotel! The pools are what it's all about, though. There are smaller pools in each of the hotel wings, and the big River Ranch water park nearby. The River Ranch has a really large pool with a beach entrance, volleyball net and a large waterfall with benches underneath. Around the corner is the water slide and tad pool. There is a long lazy river that goes through some cool shaded areas. There...
It's currently under construction for remodeling but the rooms were nice and comfortable. The river ranch water park is overrated. It's a lazy river and 1 water slide and a pool. The lazy river is full of rowdy kids, the pool was cold, and the water slide didn't slide - everyone got stuck. But there's a sprouts less than a half mile away and a fridge in the room. Staff is very generous with toiletries...
Looks like someone has tried to keep the decor up to date. Carpet floors and old shower fixings. The staff has been very nice and welcoming. Over all good deal. We would have paid the same price for a water park minus the hotel. I can't get over the smell of aged hotel....

Beautiful place. Our view of the sky and mountains from our room's patio deck was amazing, especially at night. Also the view down to the outside patio was cool. The staff members here were super genuine and willing to provide help even past midnight. I would definitely stay here again!
Great hotel and views. Very nice service staff and I was very well taken care of! Will definitely stay here again if I need to
Very nice hotel. I was there visiting someone for a booty call but it was the hotel that really made the experience magical. Xo
My family and me come her for a quick get away! Love to kick back by the pool and my daughter enjoys the slide. Tracy Gonzales is amazing. She goes out of her way to make my daughter feel extra special. Thank you so much for your extraordinary hospitality Tracy. We love ya!
I was married 1/27/18 and we used The Sheraton Crescent for our hotel block for our guests. Due to how many rooms our block had booked, the newlywed suite was free for us and all of our guests loved their rooms!! I will say- definitely get rooms floor 5 or higher, they have been renovated recently, anything lower is a bit old. Floor 7 and 8 have a nice lobby room/common area where guests can hang...
Very nice place. A good friend of mine was in town to visit with family and had his two dogs along on the trip. The Sheraton Crescent is very pet friendly. They have no extra charge for the room if you have pets. Many hotels in Phoenix have "pet rent" anywhere from 10 + dollars extra a night to $100 non refundable deposit per stay. There is no deposit or fee for pets here. They only allow floors 2...

You also get charged for parking I had to pay 14.00 for a two night stay. Also no microwave in rooms for the price of the motel I feel like it should have one. The room was very clean and nice. The bath soap smells very good. Nice thick towels. Enjoyed my stay just wish...
Apparently this hotel hosts a constant parade of youth sports teams so be prepared for loud conversations and door slamming until around 11 every night. The rooms are somewhat old but redone. It was ok but no better than any other hotel that would be cheaper. The sink area is open to the room area so there will be lots of nighttime noise and light for roommates. The breakfast buffet was fine but very...
This is a regular 2-3 star hotel in a less than fantastic neighborhood; however, the staff is always extremely and exceptionally pleasant bringing my score up. The food is OK, but a bit pricey for the fare. The bar will close early if no one is there, which can be inconvenient. The pool and hot tub is nice.
This Place Is So Nice. Everyone Has Treated Me With The Up most Respect. Hospitality Is Beyond What I Thought. Thank You So Much For Having Me. Definitely Giving This Place 5 Stars ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ All My Love And Best Wishes! ?
The Customer Service at this hotel was Wonderful. We were greeted by Carmen at the front desk the moment we walked in and found her hospitality so refreshing as she went the extra mile for us. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the pool was Amazing! Thank you for such a great experience!

I have been here since April 2022.. the staff and the management are very respectful and understandable, and always greeted me when I come in the office. Very nice people and they’re cleaning up this place little by little. I feel comfortable living here. :)
I have never stayed there, my sister lives there. But it seems decent and somewhat clean. The residents there seem friendly and my sister has been living there for a few years. I will only give it three cause omg how horrid the parking lot asphalt was, there was even a huge hole not blocked off. It looks like a drain sunk and took a large chunk with it. There were broken trees too, which is common...
I have stayed here for a while and it's pretty peaceful to stay here. There have been some changes recently and the place is taking a turn for the better. The office workers are very nice and professional. They hold raffles for the residents . They just did a after school party😊
Rooms are clean. WiFi is not free, even when you pay for it. It still doesn't work good. Pools are clean. Staff is very nice. Maintenance guys are nice. We've been here about 5 weeks and haven't had any problems.
Keep to yourself, dont be loud, the office/weight room/pools close at 22:00, and there is armed nightly patrol security.

Four amazing nights at a beautiful hotel. Close enough to everything, yet in a quiet location. Paige W. made our groups stay easy to plan, and was there for anything we needed. The rooftop pool / hot tub were the perfect afternoon relief we needed. The cool...
Walking distance central to many great spots for food and drinks. Although in the midst of some infrastructural upgrades, the access is easy and lobby is clean and convenient. The covered parking garage is well lit and secure. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The mini-suite with full kitchen is adequate. Check in and checkout were seamless, and the breakfast offers from 6am to 9am were delicious...
We had a wonderful 2-night stay. It's such a convenient, central location, with garage parking via elevator. Gorgeous roof top pool, hot tub, fire pit, views. Clean fitness room. Kind front desk. The construction had absolutely no impact on our stay... we actually loved the 2nd floor breakfast room (free, hot & fresh). And, one associate was super kind in helping us locate an item my daughter left...
Has the look and feel of a brand-new hotel. Good breakfast options. Handy to the university and downtown Tempe. Fee for parking, but less than many other places charge, and parking is adjacent and feels safe. Staff could be a little more engaged.
Very nice and clean hotel. Its location was ideal since it’s closed to a bunch of place. Within walking distance to the nightlife or the the rail. The rooftop was beautiful and had an amazing view. Breakfast was good too. However it doesn’t come with free parking. The rooms are pretty but extremely tiny. The restroom door barely cleared the toilet.

The Hilton Phoenix Airport hotel is really close to the airport, you can see the airplanes taking of in some rooms. But because it is that close, you will hear the airplanes taking of in the middle of the night too. There is a restaurant inside the hotel, with very nice food. We went here to eat our dinner, and we were really surprised by the good food. They were also flexible, because we didn't really...
Everything is nice here to the level you would expect at a Hilton. The executive lounge is a great add on. However request your room be on the same level. It was less useful to have to go up 4 floors just for a drink and a bag of cookies.
I've been going to this hotel for many years. It's newly remodeled and looks great. The hotel rooms are remodeled but no new electrical outlets so bring extra power strips. Less dresser space but it looks very modern.
Staff immensly pleasant, professional, and accommodating guest requests. Room beautifully decorated, clean, and well stocked with essential supplies needed to be prepared for your next day. VERY comfortable bed and pillows for a terrific night sleep - not too soft & not too firm. Breakfast provided in morning is of healthy & nourishing foods to start day off well. Hotel is very conveniently located...
This is your standard run of the mill airport hotels. Knowing the Hilton brand, I was confident in the type of room and service to expect. My expectations were met, as this was the standard hotel room with no frills. The age of the hotel was apparent in the bathroom with a smaller shower and tub area and some paint chips, and repainted areas. These didn't bother me, but were definitely noticeable....
Nice room. Breakfast buffet was good, though not a lot of options. This place felt more like a Hilton Garden Inn than a name brand.

The location was good for the conference but not much for my partner to do without paying $20 in an Uber. Pool area very small but good because of the heat. Gym excellent. Staff (apart from one lady on our arrival who didn't seem to know what she was doing) were all exceptional especially in the restaurant.
This is by far the best hotel in Phoenix. Huge rooms, all glass windows, perfectly laid out stuff. The best part are the elevators, I don't know how they program it but there is always a elevator available when you press the button!! The corner suites are just a dream!
Loved it. The accommodations are wonderful. Comfy bed with large ceilings and huge rooms. Room was clean and ample space in the closet. Fridge included. This is a really nice hotel with spacious rooms and done is typical Westin style. The staff is nice. This hotel is amazing and worth every penny. To start, the customer service is incredible and they go above and beyond in trying to make you feel at home. The upgrade to the Executive Lounge is worth it. The food is fresh and delicious, plus it beats having to find breakfast in the morning. The Westin, located in downtown Phoenix, was extremely convenient to every event and activity I had planned. The room was huge and featured all the luxuries of an upscale hotel. From the spacious, serene and beautiful room, right down to the extremely comfortable and large jet tub, to the large king size bed. The very large rooms featured an overstuffed couch. Have stayed here a number of times. It is consistent with the Hyatt Place experience with room and food. There is no hot tub, which happens at some Hyatt properties. There is a pool that my kids have enjoyed using in the past. If you have to stay in this part of town, it is a good place to check-in. Close to a number of restaurants as well as a mall.
I was staying there during a very busy time. There were soccer and volleyball teams and business groups. It was a great stay. The staff were very friendly and attentive to every guest. The was pretty good but a bit crowded as any hotel is, but they stayed on top of making food in a timely manner.
The Rooms are nice and spacious. Beds are comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. Great free Breakfast that is different everyday. They have a small bar, Starbucks and offer some food and other drinks. Pool is clean and presented nicely with outdoor patio. Close access to the freeway (I-17). I would highly recommend this hotel and will book here again in the future.

The two room suite I stayed in was very nice. Came in late and needed a couple of wake-up calls...they set them up for me right away. Room was clean and comfortable. All employees were accommodating and friendly.
The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous and a wonderful environment to stay in. During the day, I'd work from my laptop at one of the community areas. The rooms are very spacious. Nice atmosphere and spacious rooms. Great evening reception and complementary breakfast. The rooms have been updated, but some details have been left out. The bathroom fixtures are not the greatest, especially the shower configuration. They have also not removed the dated popcorn ceilings. The hotel also charges for parking, which considering it's location, is a little over the top.
Super nice chain hotel tucked oddly away in the parking lot of an outdoor mall, this hotel feels both comfortable and elegant at once. Spacious rooms, great service, excellent ambiance and a generally short distance to the baseball field and basketball arena!
Nice hotel. A bit stuffy inside but then again it was July, so I imagine the place was buttoned up tight. Great location from airport, and the mini mall across the street had nice restaurants and a change of scenery from the hotel. The bar staff was friendly, but the space was too open- no coziness.
Hilton Phoenix Suites is a beautiful property with a helpful and friendly staff. Just minutes from the airport and walking distance to many great restaurants, the location is perfect. The atrium lobby had two Koi ponds, a restaurant, bar, and and indoor pool and hot tub. The room is spacious and welcoming. I highly recommend staying here the next time you are Phoenix.
The room was clean and reasonably comfortable. But I was travelling for work and checked in after 7 due to my work schedule that day. The staff here at the Hilton Phoenix Suites are some of the most kind people! While we have stayed here for the last 18 days due to a medical emergency, with a loved one airlifted from Parker, they have gone above and beyond. True caring and concern for our needs during this difficult time! I highly recommend!
Although it is currently branded as a Hilton, it has much more akin to an embassy suites in terms of architectural design. I heard from the bartender last night that they're actually going to be doing a remodel and rebranding over the next year or so. When was fine but I wish it had been a little bit cooler.

Nice facility but it is dated a little bit older. The banquet staff and bar staff were very good and very accommodating. Tammy my bartender made me a really good margarita. I would recommend that if you stay here you did not get a hotel room that faces towards the freeway it is very loud. Their pools look very clean although I did not have the time to take advantage of it this time.
Good family hotel. Awesome indoor pool. The only down side to that is the entire inside of the hotel is so much fun for people with curly thick hair like mine lol. Staff was friendly enough. Some seemed a bit stuck up but most were nice. I would stay again.
It's a nice hotel. Indoor and outdoor pool, indoor Jacuzzi. The food here is standard restaurant quality, nothing to sing about, but it will fill your stomach. Good location, with close proximity to just about everything you could want. Where they really shine is when they are hosting your conference. Very accommodating.
Little older of a hotel but Very nice especially for the price. Very clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly & kind to both us and our animals.
Great price. Some remodeling going on, but we didn't seem to notice much noise from that. Road noise from freeway was present, but not too bad. No snacks anywhere. Desk said there was snack machines on certain levels, but I checked them all and only found soda machines. They need a pantry or gift shop. Stayed here for a quick weekend trip while attending a funeral. Staff was very friendly, the room was clean but dated. Unfortunately I went during spring training so the prices were extremely high for the quality of the hotel. Overall not bad.

I was looking for a hotel within walking distance of things we wanted to do, and this hotel was by far the cheapest option (even the two star hotels in the area were more expensive). Upgrading to the suite barely raised the price, so it was a no-brainer. I've never stayed at a Hilton property before but I'm going to seek them out now.
Rooms were nice, breakfast was late, and the restaurant didn't have much to offer. Some of the stuff in walking distance doesn't exist anymore, so plan accordingly. Parking was a pain, and the homeless population around the area will use the bathroom on the sidewalk right in front of you. Overall, the hotel was ok. Everything else was sub par.
Our flight was canceled and had to be rescheduled and the staff was amazing and extremely considerate! We didn't have our luggage and they were able to give us toiletries and waters without asking. And check-in was a breeze! Will definitely stay here if we are in Phoenix again.
Great place! Super nice rooms, great view of downtown! Excellent price. And the breakfast was amazing! Will definitely return next time I’m in Phoenix on business! I guess I accidentally deleted all the awesome photos I had from my room, but here is some from another hotel that isn’t as nice as the one I was in… and as a show of good faith…a random picture of my cat.
