I had an outstanding experience with my stay at Hyatt Place, Pittsburgh. It’s a wonderful and highly walkable location with many restaurants, sporting events, trails, and things to do. The room was spacious and comfortable - my only critique is that it could use some furniture updating. Most importantly, the staff was incredible. I found them polite, likable, helpful, and flexible. Often times I find hotel staff to be outwardly courteous yet lacking motivation to help when needed. This staff was the opposite, they were warm, real, and always ready to meaningfully help. This stay significantly improved my perspective of the entire Hyatt hotel chain.

Super comfy beds but be sure to lock your car doors. I accidentally left mine unlocked on one of my trips up to the room and got all my change and gift cards stolen. Other than that and the sand paper tp that left my poor butt raw 🤣 it was a great hotel with friendly staff

Room was very clean and comfortable. I was very surprised how nice and spacious it was as well. Great location for someone coming in from out of town without a car. I’ll be back next time I’m in Pittsburgh.

The perfect location for a Steelers weekend. All of the staff were great! They’re friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is what you’d expect from a hotel breakfast. It was nice to have has an option. Our room was clean. Bed was comfortably. We would stay here again.

Nice hotel in a great location. Staff friendly and helpful. Our room had plenty of space for 2 people. Nice, large walk-in shower was a bonus! Within walking distance to both ball parks and assortment of restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Like the location which is very close to the stadium and dinning place.
Room is very large and have a very large sofa to relax and spacious area to work.
House keeping is good, very clean.
TV is good with the share on screen feature.

Free shuttle will take you anywhere within 3 miles, in walking distance of Carnegie Science Center, and within a block of the T. We didn't drive during our entire stay but went lots of places.

Stayed 1 night on my own on late notice, everything went smoothly. Room was very nice and well designed, two sides divided by a wall with the bed on one half and seating area on the other. Room was clean, bed was comfy, towels etc provided. Didn't take advantage of breakfast or pool but they are provided. Great location situated between PNC Park and Heinz Field as well as the nearby Warhol Art Museum. Would stay again!

When we arrived, there were 8 Red Stripe beers and an opened bottle of water left in the mini-fridge. I know, Free Beer, but it made me wonder if the room was cleaned. The second day of our stay, housekeeping arrived as we were getting ready to leave for the day. We asked them to come back in a half hour or so. They never returned. Traveling with small kids, we were disappointed to find that the hotel has no on-site restaurant even though that is an amenity listed on their website. The staff were friendly, though. Overall, I was unimpressed with the establishment, it's cleanliness, and amenities.

Location is perfect for sporting events/restaurants. Been coming to this hotel for years and this is the first time I’ve been taken back by the lack of cleanliness/service.
We had requested early check which was confirmed by numerous staff prior to our arrival and was paid for. Of course when we get there they have no idea what I’m talking about and told me to come back in a couple hours because there were no rooms available. Employee got the manager finally & miraculously there was a room available. You could tell that me being adamant about needing the early check in (that i paid for) was inconveniencing her. The room had no bath towels, no garbage bags and stains all over the floor. Bathroom had hair all over. The AC unit panel piece was broken off and laying on the floor- just all over not what I expected.
