Great river views, would not have wanted a city view or lower floor. Restaurant had very good food. Because we were there when it wasn’t a busy time of year we enjoyed the pool and hot tub very much. Floor to ceiling windows with a view. But not much space if it were crowded. Good experience all around. Best located hotel for what we were looking for.
I can't say much about the rooms since we got the most economic one possible. It's an ada room. It's very clean and seems very accessible. I don't know that the shower is accessible as it should be. It does have a couple inches of a soft rubber bump to get up in the shower. I'm sure the views would be gorgeous for someone that wants to pay for them. the hotel has a couple of nice restaurants and coffee...
We had a great experience this weekend. Stayed two nights with an amazing view of the river. Room wasn’t huge, but very nice with a big and comfortable bed. We were very happy with it. Valet with in and out privileges was $43/ night which was worth it for us as we were in and out all weekend. Front desk were very friendly and welcoming. We would absolutely stay again and hope we got the same view....
The good: the location is good and the service is great. The rooms are clean and the common areas are well appointed and tended. The hotel's bread and butter seems to be conferences and they do a good job. Additionally, the restaurant was really good. The bad: the room we were in was very tired. The beds were soft from age and lacked form. The wallpaper is peeling and stained in places. The bathroom...
Nice hotel. Was very busy when I was there(concert) definitely little pricey but cheaper than some around the stadium. The room was spotless but was little small. Shower was great. Great views from our room had breakfast at their restaurant in morning and it was good food(little pricey) but everyone that worked at this hotel was just great. I'd definitely stay again if needed
We spent a week here for our annual baseball trip. PARKING is stupid. $38 a day, we literally parked around the corner for $20 a day. On top of the $230 a night for our room. My biggest complaint was calling daily for towels. On the 3rd day when we noticed no one had came to our room to make our bed, I called the front desk. I was told they are short staffed and no one will come to your room until...

the hotel was amazing. the breakfast experience was a disaster with very bad presentation and food missing from the order. A very unpleasant waiter. the hotel staff were very helpful and the hotel was very good value. very good communications
Overall the service was great, but what really put it over the top was the fact that my wife, daughter, and myself were reading the history of the hotel online, then were walking around the hotel looking at the artifacts, when the security guard saw us and invited us for a tour. It was phenomenal, to say the least. We saw things we would have NEVER seen and it made our trip! He should be recognized...
The William Penn Hotel, is one of the gems of Pittsburgh, from the beauty of the lobby, to the hidden pleasures to be found in the Speakeasy, or Tap Room, this hotel has history embedded within its walls. The rooms are all different and reflect the time that this hotel was built, they are clean and have their own distinctive atmosphere. I enjoy the different layouts of rooms that I get every time...
Lovely, historic hotel in downtown Pittsburgh. Ron Gilbert, the Restaurant Manager, was very attentive to my autistic son's food and other special needs and was so pleasant -- he even stopped by our table to say hello. Housekeeping very nice, although it seems you have to make a special request to have your room and beds made up. Sam (that's a lady!) who took care of our room for several days was...
Great Hotel, nice food and good service. Points of attention: - Should inform your email address during check-in so that the Internet access is free, otherwise they'll charge for it. - They don't offer shuttle service to the airport. - If you need to contact them in advance (by email), allow a few days for them to respond (maybe a week). - If you're in a budget avoid taking the cabs (too expensive...
Very nice hotel. Rooms are nice and spacious. If you arrive early they were happy to tag and hold our bags until check-in was available. Short walk to PPG arena. Lobby and lobby bar are a nice area to spend some time. The Tap Room has great beer selection and the chips available there are quite good, server we had twice was fun and entertaining.

Rooms small and basic. Comfortable but minimal. Personally not worth the price. No maid service during stay. Breakfast at the hotel was amazing. Location was perfect and central. Everything within walking distance.
Rooms were good. No fridge and the ice machine on our floor was broken but otherwise good. Not too far from Acrisure stadium. The restaurant downstairs was very good, the bartender was very attentive and friendly. Be prepared to pay for parking ($28/day).
for the price i would expect a better service and better rooms. We stayed 3 days and no cleaning the room or change towels or pick up the trash. Blankets were to old and even had tears on them. They did not offer breskfast as part of the price. The front desk were very nice and very friendly.
Standard no frills hotel. Great location. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The door on our room was weird and to close it properly when we left we had to insert our room key after we had left the room otherwise it kept dead bolting preventing the door from closing. The A/C was also very loud. Overall an average no frills hotel. Could use some updating. Parking and breakfast not...
This is a very nice hotel that we got at a good rate through trivago. Our room was clean and not too noisy, though we did leave the air conditioner running all night to block out noise. We used the shuttle service to go to McDonald's for breakfast (cheaper than the hotel restaurant) and everyone was nice. Only stayed one night and weren't in the hotel too long, but overall it was a pleasant experience
This is a beautiful well done Hotel. There's a restaurant on the first floor and a big Lounge area. My room was absolutely beautiful & clean. This location has a free shuttle to take you to other areas within a 2-mile area. I only wish I knew that there was 1 shuttle & 1 driver to circulate among the guests! Once you ask at the front desk for a shuttle they call the driver to let him know he has...

Breakfast was amazing every morning!! Filled us up for most of the day. Hotel was always clean and staff were friendly.
Our suite had plenty of space for our family of 5. Hotel is well located. Easy walk to great restaurants, theatres and stadiums and a small Target is located 1 block away which was so convenient to pick up snacks, etc for the kids. Our room was clean and staff was very friendly and accommodating. We all agree we would definitely stay there again.
Overall this was an excellent hotel to stay in. The only downside was that my shower was poorly designed and no matter how I positioned the shower head water would run out of the shower onto the floor. The shower floor was also not properly sloped and water stayed in the shower pan for my entire stay. It never completely drained. Other than that it was great. The complimentary breakfast had far more...
We watched a Pirates game there. Seats near the field are below ground level so you get a very good view of the field. Looks not to have a bad or obstructed seat anywhere. Lots of opportunities to get a foul ball. Lots of activities for young people. Staff was friendly and efficient. Prices for food were reasonable. They had fun activities between innings. A great time.
Always a comfortable stay. Rooms are clean and spacious, beds are comfortable, breakfast and happy hour are included. Front desk staff, will always give a couple free bottles of water when asked, and typically have complementary travel items for the occasional forgotten toothbrush. Rarely ever have a problem, and when it happens, front desk is more than happy to help.

Super comfy beds but be sure to lock your car doors. I accidentally left mine unlocked on one of my trips up to the room and got all my change and gift cards stolen. Other than that and the sand paper tp that left my poor butt raw 🤣 it was a great hotel with friendly staff
Room was very clean and comfortable. I was very surprised how nice and spacious it was as well. Great location for someone coming in from out of town without a car. I’ll be back next time I’m in Pittsburgh.
The perfect location for a Steelers weekend. All of the staff were great! They’re friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is what you’d expect from a hotel breakfast. It was nice to have has an option. Our room was clean. Bed was comfortably. We would stay here again.
Nice hotel in a great location. Staff friendly and helpful. Our room had plenty of space for 2 people. Nice, large walk-in shower was a bonus! Within walking distance to both ball parks and assortment of restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.
I had an outstanding experience with my stay at Hyatt Place, Pittsburgh. It’s a wonderful and highly walkable location with many restaurants, sporting events, trails, and things to do. The room was spacious and comfortable - my only critique is that it could use some furniture updating. Most importantly, the staff was incredible. I found them polite, likable, helpful, and flexible. Often times I find...
Like the location which is very close to the stadium and dinning place. Room is very large and have a very large sofa to relax and spacious area to work. House keeping is good, very clean. TV is good with the share on screen feature.

Great hotel. Stayed for a conference. Super well located in downtown. Some of the friendliest hotel staff. Very good rooms. Highly recommended.
Nice rooms and a great location. Only complaint is they start trying to clean your room the morning of checkout whether or not you have actually checked out. 3 times our door opened while we were getting around for the day.
Stayed here at least 5 times total so I think I can make a good review of this hotel. This hotel is mediocre and in need of an update or check over. Light fixtures about to fall out of the ceiling. Bathroom grout is dirty and in need of a deep clean or replaced. The rate is too high. They say they offer breakfast on the app but that is wrong. There is no swimming location or hot tub. Many cheaper locations...
We spent 2 nights at the downtown location. Everything was clean. Room was spacious and orderly. More importantly, the staff was absolutely amazing. Super friendly and helpful. Valet staff was prompt. Thank you for a great stay.
Location was good and staff very helpful. Hotel itself not exceptional, but very good. Bit pricey, but very cheap parking meant it worked out well overall.
The hotel is in a great location, which is convenient to many of the restaurants and shops downtown. Its also very secure inside and all amenities worked, including the water dispenser and laundry room. They also go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay and that the hotel is clean, especially on the days you get housekeeping.

Alexa at the front desk is a shining star at this property. Any questions we had or special requests that we made were met with a positive, kind, and helpful attitude. The morning breakfast had a variety of options for people of different dietary needs. The area is close to parks...
room was spacious, clean and modern. breakfast was really nice too, especially the bagels and scrambled eggs.
I stayed in this hotel in my latest work trip to Pittsburgh. It was located very conveniently, near to the downtown, as well as the university area. My room was on 10th floor- it was a studio room with a mini kitchen. The bathroom was great with shower enclave and all. They provided enough clean towels and toiletries. My stay was comfortable. The bed was very comfy with enough lights and sockets. They...
Incredibly clean hotel - which as a business traveler, is the most important part of any hotel stay. However, breakfast was entirely inedible. Gym was also clean but only had the basics. If you’re looking for a clean and updated hotel in Pittsburgh as a bonvoy member - this is it
Stayed here for a month. Nice team here. The best location to stay in Pittsburgh in my opinion. Food options are endless in the 3 mile area and if you are on an academic or health trip, you are right next to everything. Decor is nice and view is nice. Place is super quiet at night. Dog friendly so get to see pups here and there. Pretty clean but not really a deep clean (i suggest cleaning the couch...
Great location right on Forbes in Oakland. Great staff, super accommodating even late at night. The rooms are well appointed with great furniture plus everything you need for a long stay. I actually would recommend this hotel over some of the more luxury offerings in town.

My husband and I stayed her on 2/7- we were in town for a comedy show in Moon Township. (Worth the 35 minute drive to and from). They have ALL DAY on-site parking (valet only) for only $20; you can leave as many times as you like. Check-in was quick and easy, friendly front desk and valet associates. VERY CLEAN HOTEL, cannot stress that enough! From the lobby to the room, I was truly impressed! We...
the rooms are wonderful, clean, and visually appealing, not a lot of noise noticed coming from rooms near me. the staff is amazing!!! so friendly and helpful, welcome me every time i come back in. i love the valet service, especially this time of year, my car is cleaned of snow and already on it's way to being warmed up by the time i get in it. the food offered in the dining area is a little expensive...
The lobby and bar area was GORGEOUS. Beautiful decor and friendly staff. Out room had a balcony which I loved. Very clean, spacious room and huge luxurious bed.
Smaller hotel. Clean room. Shower head had some dropping issues but other than that room was fine. Had a couch which was comfortable. A fellow guest told me her shower/tub was clogged and filled with water from a previous guest. No self parking, only $20 a night valet.
Please disregard earlier post of 1 star. This hotel deserves 5. The staff was professional and kind. The 2 queen bed room was clean spacious and updated. Valet always on time and with a smile. We accidentally left items behind after checking out and the staff was kind enough to hold it until my family retrieved it on the same day. Wonderful services. We will return.
Friendly staff. Almost every time I got locked out due to malfunctioning of deadlock. Interior is ok. Starbucks is located conveniently (downstairs).

We’ve stayed here a number of times to visit family in the area. The rooms were clean, staff was helpful and friendly and it’s in a prime location that not too far from the city. The Panera Bread downstairs was also a convenient place to grab something to eat. Hope to see it re-open soon.
I had to stay here because my husband was in the hospital. They were very kind and friendly at checkin/checkout. The room was clean, organized, and up to date. The view from my window was also nice. I was from out of town and saint know the area at all. They provided a shuttle to and from the hospital. This was very convenient and so helpful. I really recommend this hotel.
Rooms were a bit dated, but very spacious. Great view from the higher floors (we were on 7, and could see the conservatory, Pitt's tower of learning, etc. Staff were friendly and helpful. Didn't use it, but there's a free shuttle service too.
The hotel is a little dated, but seemed to be maintained, other than cosmetic fixes. The bedding was comfortable and we had plenty of pillows and towels. The staff was accommodating, helpful and friendly. I thought the location and price were a great asset. The floor could have been vacuumed better (between the end table and bed), but you can smell they disinfect with bleach which is comforting. I...
Hotel was clean and customer service was good and also they are close to one of the best Turkish restaurants which is called "Turkish Grille" you must try.

The hotel was clean the beds were awesome! The staff was very helpful especially helping me figure out what to do during my stay. They constantly went above and beyond to make sure my stay was amazing! The rooms were very clean it smelt nice and the beds were made it’s hard to find a hotel where the beds are made and smell nice anymore and they made sure that they excelled in that!!!! 10/10 in my opinion
Staff was amazing when my husband booked the room from me out of state and helped me check in quickly. Room was clean and comfortable. Right for the price and anything I needed there was always someone at the front to help with a smile and quick service. I'll be going back again during the rest of my visit in PA.
Travel on the budget. This place is for you, not greatest landscape or view. The staff is friendly and easygoing. I gave a three stars. The building is old and need maintenance. The room has no refrigerator to keep food and drinks cold, no microwave for heating food. Happy traveling.
I was visiting friends in Pittsburgh and stayed at the Motel 6. It was a very pleasant experience. Ashley was extremely helpful in helping me navigate around town, and was available for any questions I had. By the end of the weekend she knew me by name! Her dog at the front desk is amazing!! Stayed for 2 nights. Room was efficient enough for what we needed- sleep & shower. Close to town and good places to eat (even a late night ice cream run). Housekeeping was adequate and friendly. Front desk was fine but they could smile a little more. Bed was comfortable & plenty of tv channels including Spanish. The only issue we had was the shower situation. We enjoyed our stay. The first night was a little rocky because when we checked in and got settled we noticed our door did not lock and were unable to leave our room until the following afternoon when maintenance replaced our keycode door. But other than that, which sucked, we were happy to have stayed there.

Great location for a bed and breakfast. Close to all the fun activities to be had in the Northside and only a quick ride into downtown locations. The host is amazingly knowledge and provides great services in the perfect setting. I would highly suggest a visit during the holidays. You will not be disappointed.
What an amazing and beautiful restored home. The rooms are elegant, and Robert is happy to explain the history of the home. A true hidden gem of the north side!
Fantastic place to spend a couple of days. The manager is most engaging and puts on a nice continental breakfast. Only 1.4 miles to Heinz Field, so it's an easy walk on game day with no traffic to deal with
A wonderful boutique bed and breakfast with a charming hausmeister. Just minutes from town and PNC park in the midst of Deutschtown. Joy and the staff were lovely. The owner, on the other hand, was rude and unprofessional. It is a lovely, Victorian, and historic home with unlimited character. There are touches to this B&B that are preserved and maintained, and they are simply lovely. Everything works well, the bed is comfortable and the breakfast was simply the best I've ever had outside my home. Truly, amazing. Cute and classy...
Cute, little location. Has a couple of decent guest parking spaces along with additional street parking. The breakfast was AMAZING and oh so cute !!! I would definitely stay again. (Not going to lie though, since we were the only ones there that night, there was a slight horror movie vibe..... that kind of cute, innocent, old house with the flowery wallpaper vibe if y'all know what I mean.)
Just had my wedding back in early August and I have to say what a beautiful setting! My wife and I were extremely pleased with the staff, service, and venue. Everyone on staff was a joy to work with and made the planning process seamless. There were times where I felt that so much needed to be done, but Emily on staff assured everything would go as planned, AND IT DID! I recommend using Fish Hawk...
I came here for a birthday party. This place a great hidden secret in southside (and whole of Pittsburgh). The food and dessert was delicious, the atmosphere and garden area was beautiful, and the staff members were friendly. I could see it is a nice place for a small wedding. I would come back for a party or private event!
Went here for a princess tea party. The staff was so friendly and awesome! Cute place hiding in the south side

As a lover of history and architecture this was the perfect place. From the minute we arrived until the minute we left we felt as if we were home, everyone was so genuinely nice. One of my favorite things about staying at a boutique hotel/B&B is socializing with other guests, and our experience at the Mansion didn't disappoint. Great house, great staff, great breakfast, great time!
Gorgeous mansion converted to B & B. Beautiful well cared for wood work. Original leaded glass windows in lobby and hand laid tile in entry way. Stunning Italian crystal chandelier. The mansion is very beautiful with very friendly staff. Upon entry we were treated warmly and given a tour pointing out some of the historic parts of the home. The room is beautiful, clean and the beds are comfortable. We will definitely be coming back for another stay.
The mansion is beautiful. We were welcomed with fresh chocolate chip cookies and a tour of the mansion. I liked hearing the historic details, but if you're not into that, the tour is optional. The room was very clean and comfortable. Overall a great experience.
We recently stayed at the Inn. We enjoyed our stay and really were pleased how easy it was to get to the different museums and tell National Avery and Zoo from this location.
