Stayed here for a wedding. Location is pretty good in terms of restaurants and things to do. The room itself was nice, sizable bed and bathroom. Shower was wonderful, unfortunately no body wash included in the amenities. They happened to be doing a pumpkin carving contest when I stayed, which was adorable. Service super nice.
I stayed two nights and unfortunately when the cleaning person came around it was a bit early so I had asked them to come back later in the day, which they didn't (not such a big deal as it was two nights, but a little bit of a bummer). Checkout was at noon, which was nice but they aren't kidding about that timeline-guy came to knock at my door at 1159 as I was about to leave.

We held an industry conference at the Omni Richmond and had a wonderful experience there. The staff were very professional and attentive. The meeting rooms and food/beverage exceeded expectations. The hotel rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and the rainfall showerheads were to die for. Our attendees were very complimentary of the hotel and its amenities. I would recommend the Omni Richmond to anyone who asked. Thanks for helping us pull off a great conference.

I love this hotel. The water pressure for the shower is amazing, and the water gets really hot. There's things to do nearby. The restaurant has great food. My only issue was the bed is very hard but besides that, I absolutely love this hotel. I highly recommend and will absolutely stay again.

The room we were given had a moldy shower curtain, had not been dusted in likely over a month, air was broken and tub would not drain. When we requested to switch rooms we were offered two drink coupons and an apology. The drink coupons were not needed or used and returned and the next room we got also had a moldy shower curtain and the tub flooded when used. Housekeeping was helpful, valet was quick and easy, but I was weary of the cleanliness and ability to use shower so would not recommend staying here. We are currently waiting to hear from hotel management as this was unacceptable considering the price of the hotel.

Only stayed for one night at the hotel for work, but the building and amenities were very nice and well maintained. The standout of our trip though was Sean, the shuttle driver. He noticed our group trying to plan a ride somewhere upon our arrival and offered us the shuttle. After that, he gave us his card and told us to call whenever. He continuously picked us up and took us around town and was always immediately ready to pick us up wherever we were. All that we did during our trip would not have been nearly as easy without Sean. If we’re ever back in Richmond, we’ll be sure to come back!

I stayed here for a family members wedding for a weekend. Check-in was smooth, and it was easy to navigate to my room. I was on the 18th floor, with spectacular views of the James river, and eastern Richmond. The room was very spacious, with a larger bathroom. There were outlets in the nightstands and desk, which made it convenient to not have to bend down and find a plug. All the lights in the rooms were warm, and none were fluorescent (I hate those). At night, the room was great at blocking unwanted outside noise from both the hallway and the city down below. The check-out process was also a breeze, all I had to do was drop my key off and I was set. Now, I give it 4/5 stars for one simple reason. On the Omni Richmond website, it states that parking is "complimentary" in the garage underneath the James Center. This is apparently not true, as I had to pay an extra $50 to park. I highly recommend changing this on the website so that the most up-to-date information is displayed. Other than the parking situation, the hotel is in a great location, and lived up past my expectations. I would probably stay here again for another event in the future.

Birthday weekend was beautiful here. Breakfast at the restaurant downstairs was not only convenient but delightful as the service was impeccable. Only one suggestion a jetted or jacuzzi tub for private rooms is a must. Thank you kindly for helping me celebrate my birthday this year.

We had a number of issues on our 5 day stay and 4 night stay at the Omni Richmond.
1) The valet service was not professional. We had items go missing from our car and it seemed like the car was used overnight. We reported the issue to the hotel. We were told a manager would reach out to discuss our concerns.
2) No room service provided for daily turnover of our rooms. We had to make several request to have our rooms cleaned and to have a turned over completed. Our first service was provided on second day of our stay around 6pm while we were in the room. We had to make several attempts to get both rooms cleaned.
3) No in room dining service was provided to any of the guest rooms. We had to go downstairs to the restaurants to place our food orders.
4) Only two elevators were working at the time out of the four elevators on property.
These are the main concerns that must be addressed to make the experience better at the Omni Richmond Hotel.
