Virginia Crossings Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

This campus is beautiful plenty of places to take some beautiful pics I'm sure the sunset here must be beautiful as well. Went to a family engagement summit and it was a wonderful time the food was excellent! The staff so professional attentive nice well mannered and on their game there. The conference room was large and accommodating just an overall clean beautiful space I will have an event at this place if I was looking for a large venue it's actually perfect. CLASS A. For sure I asked one of the guest how was the hotel rooms they said beautiful and beds are very comfortable too

We stayed here on our way to South Carolina. Driving up, the hotel seemed very "grand." It is situated on a beautiful grounds, along a golf course. The room itself was very clean, I am only giving 4 stars and not 5 as there were some minor repairs, and the hallways and elevator had obviously seen better days.

Resteraunt menu was simple and okay, but if your staying in Richmond and do not want a city feel THIS is the place.

I loved my stay at Virginia Crossings. The property is absolutely gorgeous, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the restaurant is lovely. Donna at the check in desk is an absolute doll—she made me feel welcome from the first moment, and ensured that all my questions were answered. Room service was reasonable and the food was great. Will definitely be returning!

We had heard of Virginia Crossings but had always presumed it was the typical hotel/conference center. Then, while listening to a show on Boomtown radio, we were surprised to hear that it was much more. It sounded interesting and we were looking for a "staycation." So I bought a discount certificate from the radio station's shopping show and we stayed there Saturday night.

We loved it!

The architecture and decore hints of Colonial Williamsburg. Parkubg was free and easy. Our room was exceptionally clean with a bright, modern bathroom. We had all the usual upscale hotel amenities from fridge to wide-screen TV. The bed was soooo comfy. We did find ourselves wishing they had a few more elevators.

The grounds are beautifully kept, including the golf course, though we can't attest to its quality as mini-golf is as far as we go in that sport. The pool and whirlpool were clean as was the area around it and the fitness centers ample.

We had not a single bad experience with staff. Indeed, they were quite friendly and helpful. When I got lost navigating (it is a large complex with several buildings) a housekeeper not only offered directions, but insisted on escorting me to where I was going.

The dinner menu for their tavern sounded quite appealing and looked reasonably priced but we had reservations elsewhere. I did partake of their breakfast which offers an à la carte menu or buffet. I went buffet and, unlike many restaurant breakfasts where cold, overcooked and dried out seem to be the rule, everything was delishously fresh from the bread and fruit tables to the main dishes. There wasn't a dried-out lump of scrambled eggs or shriveled sausage link in sight! The price was quite reasonable.

All-in-all, this will be our staycation spot from now on and the place we will recommend for family and friends visiting. So glad we heard about it.

We recently had our wedding here and both side of our families had a fabulous time. It was so beautiful in the morning to walk the grounds. During the planning process the staff was so accommodating, especially since half of the guests were vegetarian/vegan. We even had one person who was gluten free and they made sure to accommodate them. All the food was delicious. It was also a very convenient location since it was off the exit plus a mile up the road was Starbucks, plenty of restaurants/shops and target for our quick runs. 10/10 would recommend if you’re thinking of this as a wedding venue.

A beautiful Hotel. Very clean, comfortable rooms. This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. We will definitely stay again. The staff are extremely polite and helpful. Plenty of parking. Beautiful setting in Virginia countryside yet close to everything. Excellent value.

The service is adequate. The food is decent. The grounds are nice. Nothing wrong with the room or bed. The place accommodates a large conference nicely. There is really nothing to complain about it, but honestly I was expecting more. Except for the nice grounds and the interesting look of the buildings, everything seems a little generic.
