If you’re looking for old and stuffy, this is your jam! Can’t be bothered bartender? Check. Beautiful view? Check. Old shell of something that was once full of personality? Check There’s more to see and do on the Island than The King and Prince.

We spend our honeymoon here and had a great time! I let them know that we were honeymooning, and they surprised us with a bottle of prosecco in our room with some yummy chocolates. The facility as a whole was clean and very well maintained. The lunches at the restaurant were very good. The staff was always eager to take care of your needs.

We just stopped by to see The King and Prince on our way to Jekyll. We did not see a room, however the l lobby was lovely and the receptionists were attentive and helpful. There was a nice open bar in the lobby with rector doors to the pool and beach areas which were beautiful. I definitely hope to visit there for a stay.

We came to King and Prince on our 10th Anniversary - we had another hotel booked but due to issues we had to look for a new hotel the afternoon of. The King and Prince was simply amazing! We stayed in a beach villa in the south building. Amazing room. Very clean and spacious! The view was incredible. The villa pool was very private and most of the time my kids were the only kids in it. Would definitely star here again!

Our stay was perfect. We had a king marsh view room. The room was very clean and well designed. We dine at the restaurant on site. Our server was Lillie F. Who was absolutely a joy to be with throughout our dinner experience. We will for sure be back!

We are St. Simons regulars, but this was our first time staying at Sea Palms Resort. We LOVED our stay! The renovations looked so great, plenty of space in our room. We loved lounging by the beautiful pool. We ate at the bar one night and the bartending was so welcoming and engaging! We will definitely be back

GOSH THIS PLACE IS AMAZING AND SO AFFORDABLE. I’m waiting for the price to sky rocket - because the amenities are amazing. They have a pool, tiki bar, and are right by the golf course. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. Especially Antonio and Don. You can tell they truly cared about their job and making people smile. The hotel was very pretty and the bartenders were very nice!

You know i used to work for this resort and never run into any issue with any guest so from my experience the only ones that normally are negative are the ones that are told they cant bring in any food or beverages from outside the resort. But anyone with a spec of common sence knows if they allow you to bring your own food and drinks then they shut down so stop bitchin when your told about the rules...

Not a bad looking place could use a face lift. Don’t expect to have WiFi, it’s very slow and some rooms are to far away and you have no access to it. There is a small gym, dumbbells up to 50lbs, two adjustable benches and a few nautilus and Cardio machines. Didn’t really interact with that much staff just at check in which were professional.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. The room was nice- very spacious and clean. The bar was nice and had good cocktails. Breakfast was good too. The eggs were real- not fake egg beater type product.

Buyer beware! Staying at The Inn owned by the Sea Island Company no longer allows access to the Beach Club. As a former member, I don't think this will be a good move for The SI Company. I also found it a head scratcher that neither the Inn nor The Cloister have the Braves' channel. I certainly will not stay here again without Beach Club Access. Blueberry pancakes were the best I’ve had in years. Resort staff provided excellent service and were exceptionally friendly. Restaurant staff was a half notch below in service.

Absolutely fantastic! Had dinner at Colt and Alison. Our waitstaff was outstanding. Travis was personable and attentive to our needs. The mashed potatoes and steak were tasty. We golfed the next day and it was beautiful and educational. We learned a lot about the land, my ancestors there and the owners of the Cloisters. An amazing place!

Beautiful facilities, very friendly staff and 2 of the nicest golf courses in the country. Should play them if u can or just go check out the grounds.

Booked the 3 round package at each of the courses. Seaside first then Plantation and then Retreat. Seaside was in great condition but the round took nearly 5 hours. Plantation was in similar condition but took 5 hours. Retreat was not in great condition and was slower through 9 so we quit. Beautiful hotel but will not be back. Play is simply too slow. My family had a couple of rooms. Little did we know that our room window was only 10-15 feet from a taxi way for the St. Simons airport. The hallways fill with fumes, including the upper floors. The breakfast is stale and hot food is microwaved to death. Gross! The rooms were clean, staff was hit or miss on whether they were helpful or not. The ice machine area reaked of mold. Great place. As a pilot, I love the room side runway views. Bike rentals, pool, workout room & more. Stayed here due to weather not allowing a return home. Kinda wish I stayed here all weekend. It was a nice hotel, a little pricey, though. Due to Covid-19 breakfast was limited. The room wasn’t cleaned, in room coffee wasn’t replenished and the shampoo/conditioner dispenser was empty when I arrived. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious.

Although a little confusing to find, (in a "business park" that looks more residential), this hotel is in a good location. The service was extremely nice. We had a room where the carpet was shampooed, but the was still wet. They switched us to another room. The refrigerator was not workable. The hotel was comfortable for just a overnight stay. The bed was comfortable.

We loved the hotel and St.Simmons. Best part of a four day trip to see some historic sights. Convenient to restaurants and shopping. We stayed here one night and were glad to get back to the comforts of an IHG branded hotel.

Cozy hotel, clean, the rooms exit to the outside. The prices are sort of high, but they are in a tourist zone. Breakfast is good and they always have tea coffee in the lobby. The staff is friendly and hardworking. The only down side the rooms are not very spacious. They simply tried to put too many things into the room. Barhroom is another tight space.

Hotel seems reasonably updated on the surface. Room was nice and modern but a.c was old and not very good at cooling the room down. Staff was friendly and check in/check out was fast and easy. Nice pool area as well

This place was a surprisingly great stay. The rooms were updated and clean. The pool was nice. The breakfast was a full breakfast which a lot of 2 star hotels don't have. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Overall, it was a place I would definitely go back to.

Recently renovated. Nice rooms. Customer service is outstanding. Everyone is super friendly. We had an a/c unit not working. They swapped it out and discounted my bill. We had a king suite. Mini fridge and coffee maker in the room. Free breakfast every morning. Not one of those crappy breakfast that only serves danishes and cereal. We love this place the staff was wonderful the rooms could have been a little cleaner but we enjoy the hot tub at night the pool is not heated so this time of year it was not really used great hotel for the price.

Nice motel near the beach and ocean. Service was great. From the ladies cleaning the rooms to the maintenance man all were friendly. Hunter at check in was very helpful. Had King Villa island room. WAS like a house on the inside. Would definitely recommend this motel. It's in good location and very quiet.

Absolutely fabulous ocean facing suite!! Beautiful interior. We went during off season so it was very peaceful✌🏽 Will definately come again. Fabulous set up! Location, quiet but inviting. Comfortable lay out in villas, relaxing, good star gazing from balcony during the night, Deanna goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has what they need. Only downside is I miss it so much, I’m sad.

We had such a wonderful time at the Sea Gate Inn. We didn’t know what to expect and when we walked into the villa we were taken aback at how wonderful it was. Spacious, clean, well stocked. They had the Murphy bed down and ready for my kids along with inviting jazz music playing to set the vacation mode! My kids loved the pool and the beach was just steps away. Perfect family place.

This was a very nice hotel. Reception was pleasant. Rooms are amazing, decorated lavishly. Oil paintings, tapestries, dormitories, solid wood frames, doors and molding. Full kitchen, jacuzzi tub, king size beds. 30sec walk to a clean, quiet beach. Was able to open the sliding doors to listen to the waves crash all night long! We will definitely Stay again!

My wife and I made a detour and ended up in St. Simons Island yesterday afternoon. As I researched for a last-minute hotel, I ended up speaking to Felicia at the front desk. Excellent location! The best ocean view on the Saint Simons Island. Beautifully decorated and very clean rooms. We have stayed three times in the past two months and each stay the staff was very accommodating. We had two bathrooms that’s a plus! The rooftop bar has amazing views. If you are a spa goer, there is a day spa as well. I would highly recommend and will continue to visit.

We loved our room! It was clean and spacious. It was a one bedroom with two full bathrooms. Not having to share the bathroom with my husband was a plus. The check in staff was friendly and gave good restaurant recommendations around the island. It's located just a few steps away from the ocean. All of the restaurants and shops were less than a 3min drive and maybe 10 min bike ride.

We will be back! Will was most helpful from making the reservation to taking care of us once we arrived. I highly recommend trying to talk to him! The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Hotel Simone is working to be high end (in a casual southern Georgia way) and for the most part they pull it off. In addition to the many positives mentioned by others, the check-in experience provided by Vonquez was over the top ... enthusiastic, helpful, efficient. But all staff we encountered were top notch. Free or discounted access to King & Prince amenities was a nice bonus.
