I loved everything about it close walking distance to Downtown and SAP Center, amazing caring staff, hotel was very clean staff was friendly and went above and beyond for your needs and helped you out in anyway they could.

This hotel is not great. The only thing it has going is the proximity to SAP. The staff wasn’t nice, not rude, just not nice. The valet parking when you arrive isn’t clearly marked. There’s no coffee in the lobby, or dining options. The worst part of all, were the rooms. They were small, which I get since it’s a historic bldg, that’s fine. The beds were the smallest double beds I’ve ever seen. So uncomfortable. The noise level of the air conditioner was off the charts. It was the worst sleep I’ve had in a hotel in a long time. Don’t waste your money.

Completely not worth the price. The pictures on the website look better than the actual facilities. There are some cool architectural elements but not enough to really affect the atmosphere. The room we were given did not look anything like the pictures, so I’m wondering what the upgrade was? The tv and on demand services were not working, which was a big deal for us because we have one night away from kids in the year and we were looking forward to actually being able to watch a movie after dinner since we would not have to get up early the next morning with kids. The front desk waived our $17 destination fee for the inconvenience which is a mere drop in the bucket given what we are paying for the “upgraded” room and parking. It is in nice walking distance to restaurants but is otherwise lacking in any other convenience or thoughtfulness to make this anything other than a place to sleep. If you are interested in historic hotels or just a relaxing night away, please look elsewhere.

We stayed in a corner suite which was big and roomy. I loved the robes they provided. Just stayed one night for an in-town get away. Easy walk to dinner and back. My favorite thing about this hotel is the Raid Our Pantry they have at night. Take your room key, find the little room and you can make yourself a sandwich, cookies & milk, fruit, etc. It's just great!

GREAT TRIP ENDED WITH A SOUR NOTE!!!
***BEWARE THE VALET***
Had a great overnight trip for the Kane Brown concert. Room was decent and appeared clean. The sour note came when we received our vehicle back from the valet. Got our vehicle back with front end damage. When we spoke with the Asst. Director of the building, she said that their insurance would only cover the damage if they were found at fault. I asked how could they not be at fault when we arrived with no damage to our vehicle. She went on to say that they would check video footage to verify that we did not arrive with the vehicle damage. Needless to say, she made us feel like they would not be covering the damage and we were making a fraudulent claim against the hotel. As convenient as this hotel is to the SAP Center, I don't believe we will be back if they refuse to cover the damages one of their Valets caused to our vehicle.

Since the original hotel was booked this was the next option. Unfortunately the elevator is broken so you need to climb up to your rooms. The rooms are nice and spacious. Mine faced the office building next door. The parking sucks because they only have valet, metered, or there is one parking garage two blocks away for parking. There is an empty lot behind the hotel that could be used for parking. The restaurant in the hotel is closed. It is within walking district of the San Pedro market.

Great, personalized service! Recommend hotel and restaurant. Corner King rooms have huge bathrooms. They also offer great amenities include midnight snack boxes and free WiFi.

Still searching for a good Sam Jose hotel... De Anza hotel is well located downtown. Rooms well decorated and facilities good. Positives good breakfast (extra), good decor, location. Negatives: $15 mandatory 'resort fee' above booked price, WiFi in hotel is slow and unreliable, Aircon in rooms is noisy and intermittent, no safe in room.

Good hotel. Very close to the SAP Center "Shark Tank". It was easy to walk to the hockey game, maybe 5 minutes.
One thing you will notice are all the planes flying overhead. Even at night we could hear them. I slept through it but worth mentioning.

I love the modern feel of this hotel! The rooms just feel different than the typical chain hotel. The interior design is really well done and really makes you feel like your stepping out of your life and into a world of luxury. All of the staff here is very kind as well and always willing to go the extra mile to make you visit a great one!
