Beautiful resort! The room was amazing, and so was our view of the ocean. I loved the big balcony, the full little kitchen, and the spacious room and bathroom.

Please Read before you book anywhere: Do not get tripped up on the 3 star hotel label. While this is a smaller location than some, it is impressive. The facility is clean, inviting, and modern. The amenities are absolutely perfect. The beach access is very close and because it is a slightly smaller hotel it creates a close and easily accessible place to stay. They have a shuttle that is very helpful to get to the fun and chic St Armand's circle. But, this is only a half mile away and a pleasant walk. The staff are extremely wonderful. They bent over backwards to assure our stay was wonderful. I'm pretty sure someone actually went out and bought a wine opener so that we could enjoy a nice bottle of wine I procured in town. That is the level of customer care they gave us! Okay I could rave over the staff all day. The restaurant; I must be honest. I never, ever, eat at a hotel restaurant with one exception Ruth's Chris. However, our UBER driver actually suggested the restaurant not knowing it was in our hotel. So ... we gave it a try. I would take my wife here for an anniversary dinner. The atmosphere was sophisticated and just perfect. The food was incredible. The area is super laid back so if you're looking for tons of action, putt putt etc. stay in downtown Sarasota. If you are looking for a romantic getaway full of beach and relaxation ... STAY HERE! Finally, I've stayed at the Ritz on Maui and this while smaller (obviously) has the same exact customer care and service. Only one slight issue was that they do not accommodate late check outs. But, it's very understandable given the area and demand.

Excellent place to stay right on Lido Beach. The staff was kind, courteous and attentive. Rooms are beautiful. Food is excellent. Beach and pools are clean and inviting. The only downfall is there is no convenience store near the resort, so you have to travel into downtown Sarasota. St. Armands Circle is very nice, with all specialty shops to browse through, and a trolley takes you there. Very nice resort.

The staff was excellent the key for our car was missing and the employees worked tirelessly to find it the manager even came out of his meeting with his boss to help us. The beach and the whole resort was beautiful the food, the beach, and all of the accessories were totally beautiful. I would totally recommend staying here.

Beautiful place, nice room, but small bathroom as you have to stand between toilet and sink to do your makeup and hair. Maid service every day didn't come till almost 5pm & didn't refill water bottles as promised. Then day of check out 8am maid service knocks on door wants to know when you'll be checking out. Otherwise the rest of the resort, bar, & restaurant service was wonderful.

We just had the best weekend getaway! Every staff member was kind and courteous, but we were especially pleased with the service we received from the front desk staff. Upon arrival the front desk immediately offered to hold our bags so we could go enjoy the immaculate beach and pool area while we waited for our room to be ready. They had a good variety of food options at their pool bar/restaurant, and the shrimp ceviche was soooooo good! As soon as our room was available, we received a text message. The decor was updated, and everything was very clean and well kept. We are Florida locals and have been to numerous beach resorts over the years. We’ll definitely be coming back here.

To upgrade the Resort experience and to make stay more transparent my only suggestion is to have the beach umbrellas included in the Resort fees. I heard this commends from other guest. Should be, we think_no more transactions other than to eat or drink_ as this is expected. So what we did is applied lots of sunscreen. It was really not a biggie. We really loved it there. I would go back. Sara at the front desk is wonderful ;>)

We absolutely love lifo beach resort. We stay here for all of our beach vacations and we even got married here a few years ago! The staff is so friendly, the rooms are beautiful, and the beach is amazing. It's truly a happy place to be!

I was happily surprised with the oceanfront room we booked. What beautiful pool, and beach views!! Big balcony. Beautifully decorated living room with sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen, 2 full bathrooms and A beautiful bedroom with Beach views also. Apt 6010. I Highly recommend it. Felt like I was in a one bedroom modern Condo with excellent views. Nice quiet atmosphere, Tiki Bar. Beautiful well kept beach and surroundings. Good breakfast and staff. Not a huge place but nice and cozy. Only thing I was disappointed , no spa but not a big deal. Nice little town with lots of specialty stores, shopping. Will definitely go again.

Gorgeous. Rooms in the tower are newly renovated, clean and spacious. The hotel grounds are beautiful. Tiki hut for tropical drinks seemed good, we just ate lunch there and was really pretty good. Best of both worlds, you can choose either the pool or gulf to lounge and swim...or go back and forth like I did. I had a dolphin siting approximately 20 feet from where I was wading while in the gulf water...was an amazing experience. Also found incredible shells and a cool piece of coral. Staff was so friendly and more than helpful. I will definitely return.
