Courtyard by Marriott St. Petersburg Clearwater/Madeira Beach

Better than some full service Marriott's and J.W. Marriott's! The hotel is right on the water and has a great pool and hot tub. Service was great, too. 5 minutes after I'd gotten to my room the front desk called to make sure everything was good - I'd never had that happen at a Marriott property before. Also really, really appreciated their flexibility. I had to cancel the rest of the week due to an impending hurricane, and they were more than accommodating. This will be my hotel every time I'm in the Tampa area!

When we are in town this is were we always stay. The staff is the best and is always friendly and helpful. It’s near the beach but super convenient to get to anywhere in the Bay Area from there. The rooms were always cleaned and taken care of everyday. A special thank you to Shelli at the front desk. She is such a joy and always helpful when we are there. Thank you Courtyard for always making our vacations special.

The friendliest staff I’ve encountered at a hotel. Called 20 minutes after we entered our room to make sure everything was in order. The hotel itself has a pool and hot tub overlooking the sound/bay. The place is very, very clean. The room was a good a size and well laid out. So nice I’m thinking about extending our stay. Also, there is a Publix 700 feet away.

My first compliment goes to the hotel staff. Especially the front desk manager Brian. Days after my family checked out of the hotel he calls me to let me know his staff found a shirt we left in the room and confirmed my address to mail it back to me at no cost. Brian and his staff could’ve just thrown it out and I would’ve never known. But they took the extra time out to go the extra mile. This may seem small but it shows the dedication the staff has to the customer even after I’ve paid my bill and left.
Secondly, it’s a great location. Very convenient. Minutes away from the beach. Great pool with a view of the boats going by.
Overall, my family had a great stay at this location.

This hotel offered everything we could possibly need and exceeded our expectations. We choose this hotel for our honeymoon and there are no regrets. The staff were friendly, welcoming and professional. The room was impeccable and the location (waterfront) offered the ambiance one could only wish for. We can not wait to return and experience the same feeling we left with (happy, relaxed and optimistic that other hotels will follow suit). Thank you for such a wonderful experience and enhancing our memories!

Loved the balcony and the pool. Very quiet rooms. Staff were very helpful and respectful. 2.6 mile walk to John's Pass went by quickly. Marina is still being repaired but wasn't disruptive.

The staff were great from reservations on the phone, check-in, to the Cafe. The room was clean and had a beautiful view. Love the area and love the hotel. I will definitely return.

This Courtyard Marriott's excellence is in their staff and location. Brian always makes you feel like one of the family and is always attentive. Ericka is the exact same way. They hire exceptional people as well. Shout out to Joyce in The Bistro.
