Motel 6-Tallahassee, FL - Downtown

Arrived and paid for early check in for 2 rooms they said they are not ready yet but come back anytime after 3 and just pick up the room keys. Went to the game came back only to find they gave our rooms away and offered us the only room they had that had holes in the wall mold every where a bath tub so dirty that you couldn't even imagine to shower in it wet towels on the dirty floor bedding that had holes in it and was discolored to say a few of the better points as this was the only room available.They did refund for 1 complete room and the deposit but still charged 1/2 the price for the dump they wanted us to sleep in. Come to find out this has happened before at this location

1 star is too high, started with rude staff, you're locked out of the lobby after a certain time and they act like you are in a dangerous neighborhood. Room had roaches everywhere ,100s of them, floor,ceiling, under the mattress etc. Bathroom was full of mold. Room had a very foul odor. No fitted sheets to cover the mattress, just one sheet and very thin/dirty comforter. Past guests had hid items between the box spring and mattress so it shows how well they clean. Fridge had a leftover drink, also with roaches in it. Pest feces all over the box spring and top of mattress. They charged 4x the regular rate because of a football game in town. Avoid at all costs. Health inspector in our state capital needs to do a better job on checking lodgings.
