Residence Inn Tallahassee North I-10 Capital Circle

The staff here are all friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and spacious. The only complaint was the strong fragrance odor in the room, and I couldn't open the windows to rectify it. I have allergies to these products, and thank goodness it did not give me a reaction.

Excellent, clean rooms along with the location near I-10 and friendly staff make this Resident Inn a must if you are lodging in the area. We managed to get a great rate on a suite during a high demand time of the year and we are glad we are able to make the reservation here.

As a frequent business visitor to Tallahassee, I've stayed at this Residence Inn three times (4 days each visit) and have been consistently satisfied with my experiences.

Room Quality: The rooms have always been clean. Door handles have always passed my sanitization check. Although I have not experienced this personally, a colleague did tell me that she had some issues with her AC that I addressed with the hotel manager.

Staff and Service: The staff's dedication to guest satisfaction really stands out. During one stay, I experienced a door lock malfunction at 7 AM. The assistant manager personally worked on resolving the issue for an hour until it was fixed, demonstrating admirable ownership and commitment to guest experience.

Management: I had the opportunity to speak with the general manager, who was receptive to feedback and provided transparent responses. This level of engagement from leadership is appreciated. I am confident in The Residence Inn's potential to grow.

Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast offers a good variety, including fresh fruits, pastries, and hot options. The cornbread scramble muffins are a personal favorite.

Front Desk: The staff, particularly Trinity, are consistently friendly and efficient.

Minor Issues: Only once was the laundry room out of service, which is a minor inconvenience for an otherwise reliable stay.

For business travelers seeking a dependable, efficiency-style hotel, this Residence Inn has proven to be a solid choice. While it may not offer luxury accommodations, it consistently delivers on the essentials that matter most for frequent visitors like me.

Giving 5 Stars for a few reasons. When we arrived at the location, there was an issue with my reservation. But there was also an issue with others who had made reservations. Trinity, was behind the counter and by all means she could have been freaking out and losing her cool because of the issue. But she was all smiles, calm and collective. She was able to work around the issue and found a solution for everyone. We all were booked in rooms. Her professionalism was amazing to see and was refreshing in this crazy world. She cancelled the secondary reservations so we were not all charged again. Thank you Trinity for your amazing service!

The room was as expected for a Marriott property, clean and fresh. I have no complaints about this stay. Keep doing what you are doing Trinity. You are refreshing!

Rating 5 stars because the staff at the front desk are just awesome. So friendly and nice! Been down there a few times and just make good conversation with everyone and they genuinely are just so nice. My first room had some issues, so I brought it to the managers attention and instantly he switched my room and made it right so quickly. Happy with my room, and the location of this hotel is so great. Nice little kitchen and the layout is real nice and big!

I can't say enough about the staff. They were attentive, friendly, accommodating, professional, polite and did an incredible job EVERY day. In spite of the facility shortfalls the staff were there to make your stay as great as possible. It kinda reminded me of taking a trip in an old car. They were determined to get you to your destination in a good way regardless of what they had to use. The hotel needs some updating badly. This is NOT the staff's doings they make the best of a bad situation. We had to purchase a mattress pad due to the mattress being so rigid and uneven. My wife is very short but even so she had difficulty with the youth size commode. Specifically from seat to floor was was so low it was almost unusable. The water in the commode was touching you as you sit on the commode. The room should never be rented again with that commode in place. They bath tubs need anti skid coating. We had to install a rubber anti skid mat. The fire pit outside was wonderful! The BBQ grill is a very nice touch. It was being updated but was available after on a couple days. The basketball court was great for kids and there was no noise from the basketball court during our entire stay. Barbara who served the breakfast was great. There was always coffee and plenty food to eat. Response to any request were immediate. I have stayed at countless Marriott family hotels and I can honestly say this was some of the best service ever delivered by the staff. The hotel needs an big update with new mattresses and plumbing fixtures. The staff deserves a raise for delivering 5 star service with a 2 star hotel. Amazing job!!! One suggestion for the breakfast area. The sound from 2 televisions combined with the sound from the radio makes for an unpleasant relaxing cup of coffee in the morning. Turn off the radio.

The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. It's a quiet hotel. Pet and family friendly. I just suggest not to use chemicals for the carpet and to replace it with lino or similar .or to deep clean it ( with sofa). Location is great. Kitchen was well supplied. Bedding clean.
