Hilton Tampa Downtown

I recently stayed at the Hilton Tampa Downtown and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect for exploring the city, with easy access to great dining and attractions. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure my stay was pleasant. I also appreciated the attention to detail, from the quick check-in process to the excellent room service. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would definitely return the next time I’m in Tampa!

We really love this hotel, we have stayed here several times in the past, and have plans to stay again in a few months, but this last stay we did not leave as a satisfied customer. There were two broken elevators during our five day stay, and part of this stay there was a third one down. This hotel was very busy, which led to the elevator frustration. I know they were trying to have the issue resolved and I was informed there were issues getting parts, which I certainly sympathize with. Hilton could have made their guests feel more valued by informing us of the issue and perhaps offering guests a couple complimentary drink coupons, or a free breakfast. This issue truly affected our stay and we were losing patience, a couple of times we had to walk down 11 flights as we could no longer wait for the elevator as every time one stopped at our floor it was full. Five days of this elevator issue was a bit much to deal with. On another note, we don't understand why the hotel does not try to promote the outside pool bar? It's a great spot to hang out, but I don't feel many guests know it is there. A sign on the lobby bar during the day to notify guests there is an outside bar open at the pool certainly could bring more business up there, or signage somewhere in the hotel. Many guests just don't know it is there. Lastly, I would like to call out Ronnie the bartender, we enjoying seeing him when we are staying at the Hilton. Ronnie makes great cocktails and does a great job handling a busy bar by himself. I hope the elevators will be repaired soon to avoid this inconvenience for future guests, we are rethinking keeping our reservation in November due to how unvalued we felt this trip.

Love this hotel & Hilton employees are very nice and even joked with us. The room is nice & clean. The bathroom is very small, no counter space, & toilet is so close to the sink basin. It would have been much better if spaced appropriately. All in all though, the hotel is a fantastic place to stay. Excellent location & parking accommodations using valet were seamless!

This is definitely one of the most Nice looking Hilton's I've been to and believe me it did not disappoint. As I am checking in at the registration desk, a receptionist name "John" was very kind and very hospitable. He even gave me ideas on what to do to do tonight. John is a very good receptionist and I thought I should point that out. Also thank you miss Maria Elena for keeping the room clean. Cannot wait to come back here again with a bunch of friends.

It's a great location, and the staff is very friendly. However, while the lobby looked great, my room needs updating. Even my bathroom tub drained very slowly, and to my surprise, I found a used comb on the edge of the tub from a previous guest/stay. All of course makes me question if the bathroom or tub area was ever cleaned.

Loved location, pool, hot tub and large gym. Valets were great...wait a minute...no one to greet us at our arrival, no bell hops, no approachable staff inside. Very stiff and uninvolved in their customers. This Hilton could do much better! Hundreds of people using rheir carts daily and no one cleaning them. Elevators were sound, rooms quiet. Great views.
Wait what? No room service?
I would go again. They need to step it up though. A lot of lost revenue and not a lot of reason for loyalty.
Extremely clean, especially outside downtown!
