Marriott Tampa Westshore

Outstanding! The employees at check-in were fantastic! The bartenders handled the demands of customers with patience and skill! The pool area is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! Beautiful landscaping and well kept furniture! Highly recommend. Only gripe is there wasn't anywhere to hang towels (even in the bathroom), no microwave in room, and hotel snack/soda/forgotten essentials prices were extremely high....

The rooms were clean.
The pool area has plenty of seating as well as inside/ outside combined pool.
Staff always greeted us.
Shuttle bus service for short distances.
It is next to a gentleman's club across the street. which was very active into the nighttime hours.
Overall it was a great place to stay for our vacation!

The food at Blue restaurant is fantastic. There is no need to leave the hotel for dinner or lunch as this restaurant is top notch. May I also say how great the service is. Cynthia was both charming and extremely helpful with her quick service and recommendations for dinner. You can't go wrong with any dish and Cynthia's service!

The rooms were very clean and bed so comfy. Even the soap offered was great! Heated pool which is nice for relaxation and the coffee bar was tasty.

I recently stayed here for a work trip, and I have to say, the experience was fantastic from start to finish. I was there for five days and four nights, and it exceeded all my expectations in almost every way.

First off, check-in was a breeze. The receptionist was super friendly and made the whole process smooth. She even went the extra mile by offering me both a physical key and a mobile key, which was super convenient. It’s little things like this that make a big difference when you’re traveling, especially for work.

Now, let’s talk about the room. Honestly, it was amazing—way better than I expected. The room was spacious, clean, and had everything I needed to feel comfortable and relaxed. It felt more like a cozy retreat and just a place to crash after a long day of meetings lol. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby every night, which isn’t always the case when you’re staying at hotels.

One of the highlights of my stay was the restaurant and bar. I ended up going there every night because the atmosphere was just so inviting. The bartender was super friendly, and we had some great conversations. If you’re ever there, do yourself a favor and try the chocolate lava dessert—it’s an absolute must-have. The food overall was top-notch, and it really added to the whole experience.

I didn’t get a chance to try out the pool, but it looked really tempting. It was sparkling clean and well-maintained, so maybe next time I’ll make sure to take a dip.

The room service was also spot on. The housekeeping staff cleaned my room every day, and it always looked flawless when I returned in the evening. It’s nice to come back to a room that feels fresh and welcoming after a long day.

Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at the Marriott Tampa Westshore. From the great service to the fantastic room and delicious food, it was an all-around great experience. I would 100% stay here again the next time I’m in Tampa, whether it’s for work or leisure.

I'm typing this from a room in this hotel. Staying overnight for a flight out of Tampa away from hurricane Irma. Very nice and clean. Nice sturdy furniture. White linens. Nice size 49" TV. They will probably need to upgrade their phone system soon to VOIP since the phones look ancient but I'm sure its in their pipeline and most non-tech people probably don't care.

This is my hotel hotel of choice in downtown FL. It's a bit of a boutique hotel, but with all the amenities of the larger ones. What really makes this hotel special is the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. For example, I was planning on working in my room for much of the day and wanted housekeeping to clean the room while I was in the restaurant having breakfast. No sooner was I off the phone with the front desk, did I receive a knock knock on the door from the housekeeping staff to clean the room. On the same trip, I forgot my Mac Book charger, and Robert Monte's, the Director of Housekeeping, lent me his own charger for the duration of my stay. What service!

Wow what a difference! We had to check out of our previous hotel due to the overall conditions. This place was a welcomed relief! The staff was happy, enthusiastic and helpful. Would definitely recommend them for being so accommodating and proactively helpful. Gym was good and pool are was great. Loved it!
