We had the pleasure of visiting the Bistro inside the Courtyard Marriott in Topeka, Kansas, and were blown away by the exceptional service provided by Dom (short for Dominique). From the moment we arrived, she made us feel like we were right at home. Her warm and friendly demeanor was truly remarkable, and it was clear that she genuinely cared about making our experience special.We were traveling with our beautiful dog, and Dom went out of her way to welcome all of us with open arms. Not only did she provide us with fantastic breakfast recommendations, but she also took the time to chat with us. The highlight of our visit was when she surprised us with a delicious fruit treat for our pup which was such a thoughtful and kind gesture.Dom’s hospitality and genuine care made our stay memorable. It’s rare to find someone who goes above and beyond like she did, and we are incredibly grateful for her outstanding service. If you're ever in Topeka and have the chance to visit the Bistro at the Courtyard Marriott, make sure to say hi to Dom. She truly made our day!Thank you, Dom, for your incredible kindness and for making us feel so welcome. We’ll definitely be back!

Had a room with a shower that was unclean and scratchy sheets. Coffee shop wasn't prepared for the morning rush. No one at the front desk upon check out. I've stayed there 8 times and this was the worst. Gym is the only saving grace.

Booked a king suite only to be told upon checkin that they only had room with 2 queens. That would be fine but they told me that they were going to reduce the charge to the queen rooms rate and they didn't. Charged me for King and would not give me any kind of refund.

Smallest hotel room I have ever been in, the main area is 12' by 15' about the size of an average bedroom, then add a King bed, desk, small couch. The "balcony" is a waste of space as its tiny and overlooks a super bright parking lot light and a busy street. The GOOD: Isaac at the front desk is excellent, room was very clean and updated recently, location provides about any retail / food that you can imagine.

False advertising! This place DOES NOT HAVE A POOL!! As per the pics on google it has several pool pics. When I asked for a refund they said they couldn’t because I booked it online and would have to deal with them. Very little to no parking and no back entrance.

Drain in tub is broken, have to pull hard enough on the curtain to close it that it feels like it will break, and pull 1/4 meg per second internet speeds. Not the best courtyard I've been to. :(

Front Desk staff were nice. Lobby was nice. Our rooms however, were not up to the Marriott standard and we were disappointed. We had a total of 4 rooms. One of our rooms, had a hair clip in the bed upon arrival and the comforter had stains. The other room had gnats flying around, a ring around the tub and the floor didn’t appear to be vacuumed. The third room, did not appear to be vacuumed either and there were apparent stains. The fourth room was probably the cleanest.

The hotel is great, except there was no microwave in the room and there were no handles on the doors of the cabinet where the mini fridge was. It was tricky to even find the fridge. But the fitness area was nice, the hotel and rooms were clean, and there was a Starbucks in the lobby, but only for coffee drinks and some food items. No complimentary breakfast, either. You had to order any breakfast items and pay for them yourself. 😔

This hotel is a dump. I routinely stay at courtyards, and this is the worst I’ve been to. I confirmed my upgrade to a suite, and arrived to an empty hotel and still had to wait an hour for my room to be cleaned. The AC / Heat in the bedroom area of the suite does not work, the shower is cold and the bed wasn’t made with a fitted sheet. The sleeper sofa didn’t have sheets, pillows or a blanket- And asking the staff for them was like asking them to do calculus. Rude staff, dirty hotel and horribly maintained. If you like cold showers and lack of heat, this is the hotel for you!
