Best Western Plus Truckee-Tahoe Hotel

I just stayed two weeks at this hotel on business. Here is an informed and honest review - the room itself was sloppily painted, there was a thick layer of dust candy wrappers under the bed but the rest of the room was clean. The two young girls running the front desk in the afternoon were always playing on their phones"hanging out". The young man running the desk in the morning was curt and rude. Breakfast was great, fresh and lots of choices. The cleaning and breakfast staff were very nice. The pool and hot tub were warm and salt water and were maintained and clean. After a week I asked to have my room made up but they forgot so I had to ask the next day. A couple days later they made up my room and moved my things around when I wasn't there and I HAD NOT asked. "?" It's pet friendly but guests were letting their dogs deficate around where my car was parked and after a week no one was cleaning it all up. If the rooms were 100$ a night I might be able to give this hotel 3 stars but at more than 3x that (320$) I feel generous giving it two stars. If you stay here, keep in mind, you are paying for the location it seems. No way would these rooms be worth 320$ anywhere else.

Staff are rude, the AC unit in the rooms are defective or have a limiter in them, and they don't clean the rooms in between guests. Why do that when you can throw trash under the bed? My bedsheets had blood on them and housekeeping didn't even bother to use a fresh set of bedding.
EDIT In response to Ben the General Manager:
-I said that the AC was either defective or had a limiter, you checking just narrows it down and doesn't address the matter at hand.
-You're green in the sense of saving money. If your staff had taken 5 seconds to check for blood they would have found it. Now considering your response, I doubt they would have cleaned the sheets even if the bloodstains were staring them in the face. Pathetic response.
-I encourage everyone to read my review and Ben's response and carefully reconsider booking your stay at this hotel.
