Courtyard Tucson Williams Centre

Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. There was great water pressure. Room was clean
Cons: The room was off, the bed was on the side wall which made the layout quite awkward. The couch and chair were for looks only, they were not comfortable at all for relaxing. No microwave or free breakfast, frig was tiny. Not many guests but the few that were there were stacked together (why place a loud family in the room above us when there were many other Rooms). Noisy Rooms due to gaps around the door - light from the hallway could be seen around the entire door sans hinges. Rooms were overpriced for the accommodations.

My stay was okay. I was in town for business from 18-21Aug24. I'd say I would have had the same experience at a super 8 or motel 6. Being a platinum member, I expected a little more from this hotel. The greeting I received when first approaching the checking desk was less than welcoming. The room itself was on par with other Courtyards that I've stayed at. I expected complementary bottle water upon arrival or at least in the room, unfortunately, I did not receive any. I did buy 2 bottles of "life water" from the on board store. The price listing on the wall said the water was $3.50/each. When I went to the desk to pay for the water, I was charged $9. I let the clerk know that the price listing said the water was $3.50. She proceeded to semi argue that it wasn't. I mentioned it wasn't a big deal, I'll go ahead and pay the $9. She then went to check the price list and then confirmed the lower price. Instead of honoring the lower price, she charged me the $9 and mentioned she'd tell the manager to change the price listing.
I also noticed as I was in line to buy the water, another guest received 2 complementary bottles of water from the clerk. Maybe they were out when I checked in? Lastly, I requested a late checkout as my travel arrangements weren't until the late afternoon. Unfortunately, the hotel could not honor the 4pm late checkout guarantee for platinum members. One positive note from my stay was that I was able to reach the number of nights needed to reach Titanium. I will definitely look elsewhere my next stay in Tucson. My Co-workers stayed at the TownePlace by Marriott. They had nothing but great comments about the TownePlace. Perhaps that will be my next hotel when visiting Tucson Williams Centre.

I stayed at this hotel from August 5th to August 9th 2024, and honestly, it was a bad experience. I won’t choose this hotel again. First, I had to wait for 45 minutes just to check in, and it was clear they had no idea what they were doing. My room was not clean, there was no soap or lotion in the bathroom, the iron was broken, and the hair dryer didn’t work. I requested room cleaning after two days, but they barely did anything—not even changing the sheets or other essentials. This hotel will not be my choice ever again.

This is the worst hotel in the world. The AC unit in room 144 is loud as hell. Spent a sleepless night at this hotel and wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. If there was a lower rating I'd choose it. It shouldn't be legal to run a place like this in 2021. My wife is pregnant and we both couldn't sleep because of that noise. Please stay away from this place at all cost

I am a Bonvoy member, and regularly stay at Marriott hotels (pre-Covid). The room was fine. It was clean, the bed was relatively comfortable, the shower was adequate and warm, the front-desk staff was friendly. I suggest you bring your own pillow if you can though. However, on arrival (not before), we received a notice that stated there were no services because they were not able to hire adequate staff. The room was missing essential items from the beginning like hand soap. If we needed anything we had to get it ourselves from downstairs. We stayed in this hotel for one week. The room was never serviced or cleaned. We had to get our own towels and toilet paper. They say they have food in their "Bistro" but it is just snacks. And it is open at weird hours. It is OK to do all of this, but they charge the same price they always do. If you are going to have just a room you never clean, and make the guests get all their own supplies, you can't charge full price. That's ridiculous! They should also be more up front about their situation instead of just giving you a note when you arrive. I realize things are different now with Covid, but they should be honest about it.
