We had an excellent stay once again at the Embassy Suites Tuscaloosa. Lavonda at the front desk skillfully managed several people who arrived at the same time. She was efficient while still being personable and she gave us excellent suggestions for dinner.

This hotel is beautiful, right in the heart of walkable downtown Tuscaloosa, and has great amenities. We loved being able to leave the hotel and to immediately walk through downtown. We also loved how comfy and clean the beds were, the way everything was extravagantly decorated, the complimentary evening wine and cheese , and the many different complimentary breakfast food options. Great location right off the freeway with food and Starbucks right next door. Very friendly staff, very clean and inviting interior. Room wasn’t the cleanest I’ve seen and even had a pair of glasses right under the bed visible while standing. But loved the bottles of shampoo/conditioner and soap which cut down on plastic waste! Can’t go wrong staying here!

THE PRICE IS RIGHT! Enjoyed this stop. The area was perfect and we felt safe. The pool is great and crystal clear. The ground was pleasantly manicured. Our room was clean. This is the place to stay when in T-town. The staff here is super nice. The hotel is always clean and well maintained. Baumhower is located right next door if you need a bite to eat. The hotel is only minutes away from the beautiful Crimson Tide campus. You can actually see the softball complex from the hotel. You will be throughly satisfied here.

Nice hotel near the Black Warrior River. In walking distance of the amphitheater and the Riverwalk is right next to it. Cross the street and up the hill, and you are downtown where all the bars and restaurants are. The food is great and the rooftop is really nice. Definitely a great stay.

This a beautiful Hotel. The location is ideal and close to many great restaurants. The roof top bar has amazing views and a great atmosphere. The room was very clean. Went there for the new years glow night. Enjoyed a live band with great music. Had some amazing martinis. Sat out on the rooftop for a champagne toast to the new year. Barndoor to the bathroom was nice but the big pane of glass on the that allowed light to illuminate the room when someone is in the bathroom is a terrible idea. The "hot" breakfast selection had to be one of the worse hotel breakfast that I have ever had.

Great location, an alternative to the hotels near the University which they tend to be overpriced during special events. Nice clean rooms quiet, good hot free breakfast, free parking and Wi-Fi. They have the regular hotel amenities like a pool, laundry room, exercise room and a business section.

I was pleasantly surprised. I stayed here during parents weekend and the front desk person was fabulous. I accidentally booked a smoking room and they changed it for me no problem. Clean and simple, as advertised. Missing a light bulb in my bedroom and the toilet didn't flush in my bathroom, both of which I reported to the desk at checkout. No problems, right next to the highway, and pet friendly, making for a fine place to crash for a few hours before getting back on the road.

We had to stay a night here in this night, while driving back from Atlanta and the weather was very bad. We stayed in a room with two double beds. The room was clean and the bathroom was also kept neat. This was included free breakfast. The breakfast was nothing extra ordinary, but decent. We paid total of 72$ for this, which was little over price I would say.

It was a lovely room, a comfortable bed and the breakfast was ok. The shower is made for someone much shorter than us, however. My daughter is 5'3 and it barely got her shoulder. I stayed for a few nights on a business trip. The room was kept clean, the breakfast was good enough, no complaints. The housekeeper kept my in room coffee well stocked, that was appreciated.

Room rate was great but you get what you pay for. Bed uncomfortable, sheets had old stains on them, pillows were very flat and uncomfortable.
