Amanzi Hotel, Ascend Hotel Collection

This hotel experience was perfect. Our room was huge, had a great layout and balcony. There was a furnace we could turn on that mimicked a fireplace. This was a great touch. Breakfast was excellent and we took more food to use as lunch while on the Channel Islands.

The only downside for this hotel is that it is right next to I-101. You can hear it all night long.

We were in town to attend our granddaughters engagement party, the Amanzi was within 10 mins of the party location. Breakfast on both days was fresh and everything was available.

This hotel has balconies and view. You can actually sleep with fresh air in the room. Rare luxury in new hotels.

We had a great weekend! The hotel was a great spot, beautiful views, and grateful for a hot cup of coffee with a hot meal every morning. My partner and I felt comfortable and were treated with respect. We will be back.

I think the construction may be finished or almost final? Came over the 4th of July weekend and there were no scaffolds.

Pool was open. Breakfast was provided and happy hour (beer, wine and wings) from 5-7pm.

7 min walk to the beach and shorter distance to get to a restaurant and downtown. Great location.

I was so comfortable here and breakfast was awesome. The room was clean, huge and very nice and comfortable. The restrooms were fine with me. Personal was so kind, nice and wonderful. This place will be my place to stay if I ever drop by in town again. Thank you for the awesome service.

I was happy staying here. I originally was going to stay at the comfort inn on harbor Blvd but they had no rooms available so the nice guy at the front desk referred me here. Staff was very friendly upon check in. Lobby was safe and clean. Room was big and clean and quiet. Except for being very close to the freeway but that didn’t bother me as I’m a heavy sleeper. Breakfast consisted of bacon sausage, omelets eggs etc it was pretty decent better then the grab and go from the comfort inn.. rooms were also clean large and spacious.. and it’s cheaper then most in Ventura except for the dingy motels.. great experience I would recommend this to tourists.. don’t let the outside fool you. It’s very nice on the inside.. only con is the parking i didn’t like the underground parking how it had no security whatsoever

The room was beautiful & very spacious. It included all the amenities we needed...refer, microwave, keurig coffeemaker, huge TV, excellent beds & bedding, high quality bath towels & fabulous complimentary breakfast. Jackie who works in the gorgeous breakfast room was especially helpful, kind & personable. I was also impressed with Luis who was @ the front desk the morning we checked out. He was professional, courteous & pleasant. I cannot wait to come back.

We stayed here for one night on 9/22/23. Room was clean and spacious. Everyone was very nice. Breakfast was good. Perfect location. Walking distance to downtown and beach.
