Best Western Desert Inn
West Yellowstone, 133 North Canyon Street, 🧭 Map
We booked 20 rooms 10 months in advance at a rate of $115.00 per night. upon arrival we were informed the rate was $135.00 per night. We explained what we were quoted at the time we reserved the rooms, but we were informed that manager no longer works there, and new manager wasn't honoring the old rate. It may not seem like a lot of money but when you figure the price increase over 20 rooms and a ...
OMG. We booked a complicated stay at BW Desert Inn for a family of 5 adults. We were here last year just the wife and I visiting Yellowstone NP and enjoyed our stay very much. This year we are coming back with more family members. This stay is in need of specific needs that the online booking was not able to help with. We called the hotel and Amanda was awesome to help us getting the rooms that we...
Recently stayed at the Best Western Deseret Inn and the hotel was great. Clean room, courteous staff, and great breakfasts. The location is great to walking around West Yellowstone.
The staff working the front seat were not very friendly when I checked in and checked out. The younger woman working was very rude and needs to work on her customer service skills. Otherwise this was a nice hotel and the breakfast was excellent, however if I stay in west Yellowstone again I’ll stay in the other best western.
We stayed for 3 nights and overall it was a good stay. Price is a bit high for what you get in a normal location, but a lower price then a lot for yellowstone. The breakfast one day was great and then the next like we changed hotels bad, then back to great.
2 king rooms
Pro:
Large room and beds only place we have seen that option
Decent pillows
Clean
Staff most were helpful and friendly
Location is...
Stayed only for a night. The room was great.it was spacious, clean, and homely. The employees were all very nice. There is a good pool along with a hot tub with running hours from the end of breakfast until 10pm. Overall I really enjoyed the stay.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Kelly Inn! We had a room with 2 king beds in the Canyon building. The beds were very comfortable and the room was a good size, and the location of the hotel was great - within walking distance to everything and super close to the park. The breakfast was a nice variety and was slightly different every morning which was appreciated. Definitely recommend
If you have a choice stay here at the Kelly Inn. The rooms are comfy and generally quiet. The breakfast is great with multiple choices. Service and cleanliness gets high marks. We did not use the pool. but there is an indoor pool which was inviting.
You are close enough to walk around West Yellowstone and wrap yourself in the real touristy element. West Yellowstone itself is not a joy. But the Kelly...
One of the best hotels I ever had in USA! Very clean, very friendly, very good! Or in other words absolutely amazing. We visited in August 22 from Germany and we loved it. The location is great, pool is nice, stuff is very friendly, breakfast was good and a lot of choices. If I ever go to Yellowstone NP again, I will for sure book this hotel. Go on like that!
This is our 3rd time staying at Kelly Inn in West Yellowstone. We've always had great service, a nice room with a comfortable bed & pillows, a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The shower is good with plenty of good pressure and hot water! They also offer breakfast.
We did splurge a little this time and got a suite. It was huge! (See pics) We didn't really need it, as we spend the entire day in...
Clean, quite, and and comfortable. Had a minor issue with room, maintenance came within 5 minutes fixed issue quickly. Room was basic size but recently renovated. Cleaned every day which was nice.
Stayed in Grizzly building. Breakfast was basic. Eggs, ham and potatoes were room temperature all 3 mornings. When we checked out we discovered that the main building had more/better selection for breakfast...
The Kelly Inn was an AMAZING place to stay for my Yellowstone trip!!! Just minutes away from the West entrance to Yellowstone. This has to be the the cutest, quaintest, inn, I’ve ever been to! Loved the bear and cabin themes going on everywhere! The rooms were SO clean and the service was extremely friendly. Great complimentary breakfast, and the pool/jacuzzi area was a perfect way to relax after...

Stage Coach Inn
West Yellowstone, 209 Madison Avenue 🧭 Map
We booked this place for our first visit to Yellowstone National Park. The room was spacious the TV worked. The bed was comfortable. The free breakfast was a proper breakfast lots of choices. The main lobby is beautiful the taxidermy animals are cool. The place is unique and screams Montana.
Definitely will be staying here again on our next visit.
We stayed 3 nights here and were very satisfied. Staff was courteous and accommodating, room was cleaned every day, bed was comfortable, breakfast selection was varied, and the lobby has this very nice old western feel. Some facilities/amenities we didn’t use but observed - pet friendly, sauna, pool, board games, computers. It’s a great spot if you want to explore Yellowstone National Park for a few...
We really enjoyed our stay at Stagecoach Inn. The staff was wonderful and greeted us every time we came in. The beds were very comfortable and super clean. The hotel overall has the perfect Montana/Yellowstone historic vibe. Make sure you read the history of the hotel posted at the front door. Breakfast was simple but good - just want we needed to get started. They are also VERY pet friendly which...
Love the place. It's a nice old historic inn. I stayed in one of the newly renovated 'original' rooms. Staff is friendly. Plenty of street parking with an optional underground garage if you want to. If your room is above the indoor pool though it'll smell like chlorine upon arrival. Once you run the ac for a bit it'll go away. Nice spot in town, within walking distance of almost everything.
Nice clean rooms. Had been remodeled since my stay 3 years ago. Much better now. However, their breakfast needs an upgrade. Is the same as 3 years ago.
I stayed at the Stage Coach Inn for three nights a few weeks ago when I was in West Yellowstone. This is my go-to hotel when I stay in West. I really like the historic look and decor. This visit was quiet as it was early April, and the town is still getting ready for summer. The rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable. I booked an upgraded/deluxe room so that I could have a refrigerator and microwave...

Geyser Inn
West Yellowstone, 101 Electric Street 🧭 Map
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.
Ideal location: only 2 to 3 minutes from the West Entrance.
Very high score for hygiene.
The hotel is very well located. The people who work there are very friendly and attentive. You have access to all the restaurants on foot. Highly recommended.
This hotel is amazing and the price is affordable!Room is clean enough and they serve breakfast. Every staff is nice and kind. I think it is the best hotel in west yellowstone base on the price!
Great value. Our 2 bed room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Nothing fancy, but the essentials weren't skimped on. Quality towels, pillows, etc. made us happy with our choice.
Breakfast is not good. If they offered something hot to eat it’d be tolerable. Beds are memory foam; if that’s your thing then you’ll be happy. All the rooms are immaculately clean, on the plus side.
The place wasn't bad, but for $280, not luxury. I do understand that it's a tourist town so hotels are making their money. This hotel was probably the least expensive in town. The front desk staff was friendly. The beds were comfortable. There was a mini fridge & microwave. The furniture & tv could use an upgrade. The towels were soft. The location was great.

9 Bar W Cabins
West Yellowstone, 132 Electric Street 🧭 Map
We were looking at Montana, Wyoming and Idaho to see where we want to retire. The cabin was comfortable, cozy and we had a great time. It was walking distance for dinner and coffee was right outside the front door. We loved the place and if we come back, we will stay here again.
This is—hands down—one of the best homes we’ve ever rented in our travels. My family (5 individuals) stayed at Absaroka Cabin last month for a week-long trip to Yellowstone, and we could not have asked for a better place to stay. The cabin was extremely clean, organized, and well-cared for, and the owners provided everything we could possibly need for our stay.
Some things we especially loved:
• Kitchen...
Super accommodations in the center of West Yellowstone, right on the edge of the park. Crisp, clean and quiet. Well stocked. A place you’ll look forward to coming back to crash after all day in the park. Terrific hosts Jeff and Oly. Highly recommend.
My family of 11 stayed in the Teton Townhouse last week! We are so glad that we reserved this place! I'm a stickler for cleanliness and this place lived up to it! The townhouse was spacious and had every item needed. The beds were also super comfy! Yes, the internet is painfully slow, but it allowed us to disconnect and enjoy each other more! I live in a big city but I certainly enjoyed the small...
My wife and three other friends stayed at Cabins West this past winter in late January. We have stayed at Cabins West for several years now and have always had wonderful accommodations. Jeff and Oly have become personal friends of ours over the last several years and we always look forward to our trips out west to enjoy all Yellowstone has to offer but above and beyond that its a great opportunity...
We stayed here in January for a snowmobile trip. We stayed at the gallatin cabin with 7 people. I was a little hesitant because the pictures made it seem kind of small but there was surprisingly a lot of space, except for 2 of the bedrooms. Everything was clean and well stocked (kitchen, bathroom, laundry, etc)! Would definately stay here again! Great location too! If you've never been to West...

Sleepy Hollow Lodge
West Yellowstone, 124 North Electric Street 🧭 Map
You need to check your snarky basic-beach attitude, Facebook addiction, and that entitlement fantasy that you call reality before you stay here, or before you blast this place after you stayed.
This place is not the Ritz. Go spend the $1k to stay there. But if youre reading this, you cant afford that so stick it out and keep reading.
Its not the softest bed in town. Your life has been soft enough...
The place was clean, sheets were soft. But it needs serious updates. It was a great place to crash after a long day of hiking. The bathroom and main room is dated, doors don’t have deadlocks. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving our belongings behind. Plus my husband had to hunch down to shower and he is 5’9”.
The cabin I stayed in was VERY clean. It was decorated really nicely and had everything I needed. Included a microwave and mini fridge. Complementary soap bars, but no shampoo. The heating system was tricky to figure out or wasn't working properly. I would definitely stay here again though.
