We loved the location - close enough to downtown we could walk but quiet. Loved the hotel itself. Beautiful hotel and grounds, spacious, comfortable and clean rooms... The staff! Staff were wonderful! So kind, helpful and accommodating.

Beautiful Rooms, lovely Montana Interior, excellent food, wonderful staff, shuttle to Whitefish for shopping, etc. Pool, hot tub outside with beautiful mountain views and golf course. Golf course across the street, state park minutes from hotel as well as Whitefish beach the other way. Very affordable as well.

Lovely restaurant! Great cozy rooms! Just a beautiful relaxing place with trails all around and a shuttle that runs late into town! What more can a girl ask for?

Wing night for football season on Monday nights were Amazing. Sarah our bartender/server always takes great care of us. Wings are huge inexpensive and flavorful. Great drink prices! Great atmosphere.

They were very courteous and helpful. There was a mixup with our reservation when we arrived, but they worked it out and upgraded for us and we were very satisfied. We also really enjoyed the large outside hot tub under the stars.

Nice lodge in a great location. Whitefish is a wonderful place to visit and easily accessible from the lodge. We found some "condition" issues with our room and a "rate" issue when the checkout receipt was delivered, but the friendly and helpful staff was able to quickly resolve both. The breakfast buffet was very good. All in all, the stay here was positive.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The courtesy bus into town greatly assisted us with the timing as well as not needing to find a car park.

I stayed overnight during my Glacier National part trip and enjoyed my stay. The hotel was conveniently located and little quieter from the busy streets. Awesome resort that has everything covered while your there. Buses that go in town to buses that go up the mountain. Everything was top tier. Room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and rags! Even the valet guys were awesome. They will take you on a quick run to gas station or store. Not a single complaint on my 6 day stay.

The Lodge is always a delight to stay in. For the first time, though, I was located in a suite across the bridge. I loved my suite. The accommodations of this Lodge is well above average. The scenery was breath taking! The staff was surprisingly diverse but that I feel made a difference for my experience. My return to this resort is a definite outcome to complete.

Beautiful property! The entire staff was very kind and super friendly. Brian the Beverage Manager was a superstar! He helped answer questions about our GNP tour and other local attractions when the concierge desk was backed up. We loved our stay and are already planning on coming back next year!!

Everything is good here. It's not the Beverly Hilton so don't expect that treatment. The food is hearty, not California cuisine. The staff is helpful and friendly.

This lodge is beautiful. The rooms are clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The hot tub and pool was clean and well maintained. The breakfast had a variety of foods to choose from. They have kayak and bikes to rent so you can tour the town. I would definitely stay again. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

This hotel is a 6 min walk from downtown. But they will shuttle you every hour there for those hot days. It's a good place if you aren't expecting too much. It's staff are friendly though, and the process are very reasonable for the area. Get a 2nd floor room if you want decent WiFi.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast and coffee. I loved the mattress (couldn't get out of bed) and the ammenities in the washroom are good. They don't seem cheap. Same with the all the linen. The usb power plug in is a nice touch as well as a large wardrobe to hang clothing and store suitcases. I think this is my third stay here and I will be back.

What an absolute gem! The owner was incredibly kind and ensured we had a great stay. We enjoyed homemade breakfast each day and took in the views of the river. This was an amazing B&B! My friends and I stayed here last summer while visiting Glacier National Park! It was only about a 30 minute drive to the west entrance to the park, it was fun to drive through all the small towns on they way to the park. Surprised how decent the hotel is. It was clean, comfortable, and is the sister hotel to Firebrand across the street where you can leave luggage for day if skiing as well as use their shuttle. Excellent location especially if arriving by train, near to many restaurants. Recommend getting a room in the top floor (two queen beds) for view of the mountain. We stayed the night before joining a bicycle tour of Glacier National Park because it was the only thing available. Our room was clean, but that is the only nice thing I can say. The building is very run down and the rooms are in need of repair and updating.

It may not look like much, but the room was very clean and comfortable. My only complaint would be the sheets as they were the type of fabric that pills. It a pet peeve of mine. Anyway, I enjoyed my stay.

This hotel was in between the two places that we were in town to visit. It was a little difficult to find as it is behind a small strip mall and the signage was not large enough to be seen. The hotel itself was wonderful! The staff, service and rooms were wonderful!!

Loved the experience the front desk was extremely nice and friendly to my large family. Next morning breakfast was great and extremely well put together for a free breakfast.

Staff was pleasant and helpful.. Room was clean. TV worked great. Indoor pool water was sparkling clear. Washer and dryer available for public use and the washer was free. Breakfast was tasty and abundant. Neighborhood was safe. No elevator access to 2nd floor rooms. Air conditioner broke but staff moved us immediately into another room.

The hotel was a little difficult to find. Outside the facility was ok but clearly had been built sometime ago. The rooms were clean but again, obviously dated. Food was typical and the pool looked nice but we did not use it. I would probably stay at a more modern facility the next time.

The location of the hotel was great. Loved the hot tub to relax after a day skiing. They also had a build your own hot chocolate station for guests after a day skiing, so cute!

Beautiful hotel with wonderful service. I enjoyed staying there in March for a skiing vacation. Rooms are wonderfully furnished with an authentic feel of an alpine resort. The free breakfast was great. In the afternoon - free popcorn and cookies. A free shuttle to chairlifts was always available and quick. The hotel personnel are very attentive.

Kandahar is a great old-fashioned, cozy place to stay. There was plenty of space in our rooms for all 9 of us, and the front desk was very helpful. The only issues we had was that the hot tub wasn't very clean, and there were no shuttles directly from the lodge to Whitefish, but other than that, it was great.

The Chalet Inn's large suite was a convivial, spacious, conveniently located and reasonably priced oasis for our family of four while we were visiting Glacier National Park. We stayed 2 weeks in the Wander Inn cabin. The place is remote, yet the town is 10 miles away, plenty of fresh air, beautiful setting, quiet and quaint. Great location, great amenities, wonderful people. The cabin we stayed in was super clean, very cozy-without being too small, and close to parking. The ranch was beautiful to walk around, the ponds and small lake were just picture perfect. Unbelievable that it was just 4 miles from the highway.

Very cute hostel. There is a room with 6 beds and a room with 4. The night I stayed, both rooms were full. There are 2 clean bathrooms and a cozy hang out area. The owners and workers are very nice and helpful. I think it's very expensive since you have to share a room and bathroom with many other people. However, the other guests are often fun to interact with and make it well worth the money.

Extremely nice, modern, on-hill property. Great facilities including a ski locker room that leads out onto the slopes. Can't rate the hill yet, first day tomorrow. Friendly check in staff. The market is limited but useful for basics. Take the free bus into town and stop at the large Safeway. So far, I would say Whitefish really understands tourism.

We did not stay at Bar W, but we did go for a winter sleigh ride and it was absolutely amazing! The horses were beautiful and the staff was so friendly and able to answer any questions we had about the horses. It was an absolutely gorgeous backdrop, we truly got to experience walking in a winter wonderland! Highly recommend if you’ee around in winter!

When planning our trip to Whitefish we debated on the trail ride. We are horse owners and we’re not sure we would enjoy it. We decided to go ahead and we are so glad we did. Deb our trail guide was amazing. The ride was peaceful and enjoyable. It was a highlight of our trip. We would definitely do it again.

We went on a morning ride around some forest trails and had a great time! José was our guide and he had wonderful stories to share and so much knowledge of horses. You could tell he loves his job and loves the animals. Our horses were stunning and so well-behaved. My husband had never been on a horse before and now he's hooked. This is a must for anyone visiting the area.

Words cannot express how beautiful the ranch and Montana country is. We arrived as a family of 4 from NY and left with lasting memories and friends. Bar W offers a range of activities for all riding abilities and ages. The kids program is excellent!
