We came to town for my father in laws funeral. Check in was quick, friendly and fun staff, the room was clean and freshly painted. The pillows omg were so comfortable as was the bed.

Picked this hotel because hotel Prices on The Villages have skyrocketed lately. Was visiting elderly parents. This place was scary looking, but the room ended up being pretty clean inside the room. However, the odor of cigarette smokes permeates the area. Smokers are allowed to congregate under stair areas and it stinks. Highway traffic is constant All. Night. Long. Pay the extra $100+ and stay somewhere...

Nice clean rooms for a fair price. Friendly staff and management. Cinnamon Sticks restaurant next door has great food. Been staying there twice a year for the last 20+ years.

The room was clean and nice. The beds were soft and comfortable, the breakfast was AMAZING and got the best night sleep for a low price!!!!!! I would definitely stay here again!!

Surprising quiet place, although the highway noise is loud as place is right next to it. Room pretty and nicely decorated, non smoking room did not have any unpkeasant odors which is why 4 stars. Could be cleaner. Exteriors are in horrible, nasty condition. Don't let that stop you. Check in staff excellent Guys.

Great service from David. I just used their parking lot for carpooling for 2 days. Rate is $5 per day. Great surveillance system and location just at the beginning of the turnpike. Will use it when traveling to Orlando or Miami from Gainesville.

I came to have my teeth repaired at Dr. Ammar Moussa's clinic( wildwooddental care), and the hotel was located very well, the cleanliness was great and the whole staff was excellent

Wonderful staff, location, breakfast, rooms ECT. Ms. Mary at the front desk was absolutely phenomenal. The rooms were clean, friendly and attentive service, amazing market and breakfast selections. The location was great and located next to Indian River fruit and souvenir stand as well as Cherokee trading post and a brand new pub and grill next door. I've stayed here for 3+ nights a few times over the last 4 years and think this hotel is great! They have a free breakfast in the morning with hot items such as sausage links, bacon, biscuits and gravy, eggs, grits...etc. They rotate it so you are not eating the same thing every morning. It's got a washer/dryer which makes packing light easy as you can wash your clothes halfway through your trip...

My wife and I and our dog stayed here today. They allowed us to check in early, the floors were immaculate, the bathroom was very clean, plenty of towels, soap. They have a microwave, fridge, TV, cable, Wi-Fi, great air conditioning, comfy beds.... located within 1 mile of all fast food restaurants you could want and being right of I-75...a bargain! $85/ night. They have an IHOP attached to the front...

Only stayed a few hours. Very fast and friendly customer service when I was in a rush to get some sleep. Room was clean, and in good shape for what you pay for.

My son and I took a small road trip, there is a pool, but it was not up and ruining. Disappointed in that. But had a great stay. It was right off the highway and was easy to get to.

I was very satisfied with our stay. Can't beat it for the price. The property is dated, BUT the price was right, our room (150) was clean, beds were comfortable, and the staff were very nice & helpful. We left our golf cart parked outside overnight for 2 nights, and it wasn't messed with. Also, many motorcycles were parked outside overnight and we never heard any of those people say anything was bothered...

For a last minute reservation and because other hotels were completely booked, I was just glad to have a warm shower and a comfy bed to sleep in. There needs to be a few cosmetic changes such as the bathroom door and shower curtains but other than that, I was satisfied with my stay.

According to what I've read about this place they must have listen. They seemed to have upgraded their rooms. It's not a awesome place but it is a decent place if you staying for a night or 2. The room I'm in has newer floors, fleshly painted walls, new furniture, it doesn't stink and the beds are kinda comfortable. I guess my biggest complaint would have to be that the bathroom is small.

This motel is definitely been upgrading, remodeling and for sure thinking of the customers! The AC's are in well working order. The tv works the hot water last forever and it truly is the quietist motel on this exit. There is no body hanging out outside or causing noises or discomfort. The best price on this exit as well.

Our king room (accessible) is huge and impeccably clean. Nina at the front desk is professional, courteous, helpful and not easily ruffled by a cranky guest; her composure brightened my day. The location in the heart of Sumter Landing can't be beat and is a good value if you book direct.

Clean and friendly service. No free breakfast $12.95 way over priced for what you're paying for a room. The new management company needs to reevaluate their mission. Hot tub was out of service all week.

We stayed here for several nights. The room was clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. The shower was nice and hot. The rooms are a bit outdated, with some stains on the carpet. The pool was nice, but the hot tub was not working the entire time. No free breakfast, so be prepared to spend some money.

Breakfast was EXCELLENT! The very nice lady with short hair was the best attendant. My husband was on crutches and she helped him with his breakfast our first morning when I slept in.

The desk clerk Annie was very, very nice and advised us where we could get dinner as we arrived late. We had a room on the 2nd floor and didn't hear any noise from construction on the 3rd - would never have guessed it was even happening. Only negative is location - it is not within walking distance to any stores or restaurants.

We found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. The entire facility was clean. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed and good size television. The location made it easy to reach all our various events in The Villages and Lady Lake. We will definitely stay here in the future.

The room is laid out too weird. We had a suite with only one TV, which means the all guests must either sit on the bed or on the sofa to watch TV. The breakfast buffet was put up before 10 am. Located in the heart of the Villages, Towne Place is located within walking distance of several restaurants and entertainment opportunities. I got a King size bed suite for $117 on Hopper. The room was clean, smelled great, and very comfortable. Would recommend! The continental breakfast has many options and the customer service is incredible!

This is the only Marriott property for quite some distance, and one gets the feeling the management know this and takes it somewhat for granted. Overall not a bad experience, but it simply is a couple notches below the Marriott average for cleanliness. The pool in particular is consistently dirty with debris floating G as well as on pool floor. Visible alge at times.... I don't recommend counting on...

Service for our room was not completed at all for our 3 day stay. Even when told to place what we needed outside the door. No towels for 5 people. Everyday we had to ask for them downstairs at the desk. I feel like 480+ dollars for 3 days, we should've had towels, tp etc. End of the day, comfy bed and pillows, very clean, other visitors: very friendly, staff... not so much.

Very clean room and big, the bed was comfortable the bathroom was also big, AC work great kept the room nice and cold the pool was relaxing, hotel was close to places to eat and a Walmart and Publix, the front desk was very friendly and helpful, would stay again 🙂

We stood here during Hurricane Irma with our cat and dog. They were more than happy to help and even went as far as offering us information on helping us with vouchers for our stay. Definitely a must visit hotel if your in the area!

Our room had bugs in it. Found a cricket under our mattress. The pool area has red ants everywhere. But the pool itself was clean and enjoyable. Breakfast was good. Friendly staff.

The cleaning staff are very nice. Front desk personnel are very nice. The continental breakfast is more than adequate. But the hotel and rooms in general are wet. Nothing ever dries and the mold is unhealthy levels. The owners should address this. Guests deserve better.
