Motel 6-Williams, AZ - West - Grand Canyon

This was the worst experience at this Hotel. I left my expensive metal water bottle in the Fridge. I called immediately and was told they would retrieve it and leave at the front desk. I did not immediately return because I was told they would hold it. When I went back the girl who took the call said she had no idea. She then told me her brother cleaned the room. He was at reception so I asked him and he lied straight to me and said he saw no bottle in the fridge. He looked guilty and said it had to have been thrown away, very unlikely it was a new metal water bottle. They obviously steal your things at this motel and lie. Both brother and sister did not even look old enough to work there. The room was horrible with the guest upstairs making noise all night. Would not recommend staying at this Motel.

Showed up at 10:30pm to check in and thank God we were only there a couple of hours. If it wasn’t so late, DEFINITELY would have went somewhere else. This place is a dump, flickering lights in the hallway, no lights in some areas, no sound proofing. Rooms are actually not that bad but beds are equivalent to sleeping on a futon.

We actually planned our trip around the occasional game we wanted to watch on TV. Only a couple. So disappointed! When or if you got a channel, it was really dark and they didn't get any of the football games! No pool available even though it's an indoor pool. Front desk people were nice. Just a heads up...be careful not to get a room across from the ice machine. It's busy for hours!

The rooms are large BUT our room had NO LOCKS. The rear door to the building is NOT LOCKED. It requires no key card for entry. My friend and I were traveling from California to Texas and stopped in Williams because the dark was coming faster than we expected. We are in our 70's and spent a restless uncomfortable night with a chair under the door handle. The deadbolt did not lock, the magnetic lock was not working. Water line break at a Grand Canyon could a rush on rooms in nearby areas, so we had no choice but to stay. It was terrible. Motel 6 did not seem to care.
