Grand Canyon Railway Hotel
Williams, 233 North Grand Canyon 🧭 Map
Loved the ambience of the Hotel. The pub there was great too. Also loved the Wild West show before we took the train to the Canyon.
I could not recommend this enough. Everyone we talked to was very friendly with great recommendations. The cowboy performance was a delight, even for adults. We ended up missing the train (be aware they are prompt and you cannot be even 1 minute late), but they worked with us and rescheduled us for the next day (no addtl. cost) and we stayed in the Railway Hotel for the night. You get the perfect amount...
The hotel lobby felt very ...100 years ago... with its huge fireplace roaring, giant chandelier and open lobby. The wood moldings everywhere captured the essence of what it must have felt like in olden times.
The large paintings of the Canyon and the Remington bronzes were impressive.
The old fashioned, imported bar was delightful.
Our room was clean, modern and the bathroom was way beyond most standard...
Such a beautiful place with friendly workers, very well maintained and cleaned. Plenty of places to buy souvenirs, gifts, snacks and so much more. The restaurant here is amazing and the hotel is super clean. The train is a definite must if you have a chance to take it into the grand canyon and then back to Williams. The hotel is a great place to stay of you do not want to drive after the train ride...
Every detail was attended to by the awesome hotel and bell staff. The buffet meals at the Cafe are second to none, and the room was spacious and well-appointed. Anyone traveling to the Grand Canyon (which cannot be seen - it has to be experienced) would do well to enjoy a travel package that includes stays here, train ride to and from the Park (the luxury dome car is worth it!) and overnight in the...
Great location and the buffet was actually very good. The hotel was the 3-stars part: our refrigerator didn't work (it was warm and smelled) and the reserved microwave was nowhere to be found. After to two visits to the front desk the staff simply responded with, "we're sorry" and kept going about their other business. We'll use the railway again - the staff and entertainment on the train were a lot...

Comfort Inn Near Grand Canyon
Williams, 911 W US Route 66 🧭 Map
Right at the end of the Williams strip. Just a short 5 min walk to everything so no need to drive. There is a Safeway two doors down so you'll have everything you need.
Rooms are good enough with good water pressure and soft beds. The room we were in had both a fridge with freezer and a safe.
Breakfast was included and was decent with eggs, sausage, waffles and many extras.
Coffee all day in the...
I like comfort inn as they provide complimentary breakfast which is quite filling with lots of options.
This place was a good stop between grand canyon and Las Vegas.
Rooms were clean and spacious.
Also, the pool area was indoor and open 24/7 along with Jacuzzi
We came from Albuquerque, NM for two days to see the Grand Canyon and surrounding area. We also took the train to the Grand Canyon which I HIGHLY recommend!! I will never see it any other way again. Super fun and lots of extras. This hotel was the cleanest and most efficient I’ve ever seen. I mean, not even a single cigarette butt in the parking area, no eggs in the breakfast area or spilled waffle...
I am happily surprised about everything. Usually I want to stay in hotels that’s 3 star and above because I can’t stand the smell of hotels/motels that have lower ratings, and also concerned about safety, but this time all the three star hotel prices are so high except one that has bad customer review, so I decided to try this 2.5 rating one. First, it’s not like motels, all the rooms are enclosed...
Pleasantly surprised! Good place to stay a night close to the Grand Canyon. The room was clean and fresh. TV is over the air channels through cable, but no HBO etc… the wifi worked well for streaming. Breakfast was surprisingly good! Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s also a half block from Safeway to pick up some extras that I failed to pack.
Room 104 specific: the water pressure...
No complaints! Not over the top amazing but definitely comfortable, staff was friendly. The room was clean and a good size. Our fridge was a little wonky but functional as a fridge, but no freezer.
Breakfast was pretty good.
They did have a pool that was open! However we only stayed the one night and didn’t get to use it.
The hotel is just down the road from the Main Street. Easy walking distance,...

Front desk service was friendly and fantastic! The hotel room was just fine! It was simple, very clean and comfortable with cool AC and nice beds. Pool wasn’t available during our stay, but not a biggie! Hotel is very close to a grocery and just down the road from trendy pubs and fast food restaurants. Overall a nice stay.
We had a wonderful stay here with our two pups! The hotel was clean, the room was very spacious. We have bigger dogs and they had plenty of space in the room to move around. Our room was very close to the door that led outside to the dog area, which made it very easy to take them out. The staff was also amazing and were so friendly! Benjamin and Andrea were very kind and made the experience fantastic...
No frills hotel but met our needs for the weekend. Beds are super comfy. Indoor heated pool felt great and hot tub too. No fridge, microwave, or coffee in room but there is a microwave in lobby. Checked out a hair dryer from front desk. Great location and can easily walk a few blocks to shops, restaurants, and train depot. All staff we interacted with were very pleasant and friendly especially...
Very well appointed and clean motel. Extremely great value for the low room rate. Very friendly and most helpful front staff. My room with two queen beds was up to date with new furnishings, clean bathroom with lots of nice hot water, and a quiet heating/cooling unit. The beds were very comfortable - slept like a baby. The motel is on the edge of town, so walking to the city center might be a challenge...
I have no complaints about my stay. The room was clean and well maintained. It wasn't luxurious, but it was nice and I was very happy to find something so pleasant in my price range. The staff were all helpful and kind, the ac was good and the water was clean and hot.
The beds were a bit springy, but the blankets were actually quite nice. I don't usually like hotel blankets, but these were fleecy...
Motel is very basic. Room has 2 beds, a small table with 2 hard chairs. One luggage stand. Rooms were clean. Stayed for 3 days and received no cleaning service. Pool was cold, but clean. Front desk was very nice and helpful. Good location, walking distance to everything on Main Street, but at the end away from the noise. Allows pets, so expect some barking. Good deal for the price.

Red Garter Inn
Williams, 137 West Railroad Avenue 🧭 Map
I was at Anna's Restaurant below the Red Garter Inn. The restaurant has great food, great ambience in a retro decorated style. You won't be disappointed!
Loved the Red Garter Inn! Stayed in the "Best Gal's" room. The decor was exceptional and enjoyed the street view of downtown Williams. Conveniently located in downtown across from the Railroad hotel and within walking distance of restaurants, gift shops, grocery store, zipline, etc. The floors are made of cork soundproofing and are very quiet for a sound nights sleep. Enjoyed a delicious breakfast...
This was probably the most interesting bed and breakfast type stay I've ever had. The Red Garter Inn was perfectly located in Williams Arizona, a rowdy little roadside town with some interesting shops and activities. There was a nice brewery next door with excellent beers and even better food. The room was comfy but small, very nice amenities and the history as a brothel was pretty cool. The room had...
Spent three nights here and really enjoyed the stay. It's a small town but has a lot of history. Plenty of coffee shops and restaurants to choose from. Great pizza place just around the corner. Great wine tasting shop next to the pizza place. This place also serves beer on tap and you can order food from the pizza place next door and enjoy your food while in the wine tasting shop. About an hour drive...
Had a tasty Denver omelette out on the patio with a big mug of very good coffee. Loved that it was decorated for Halloween. Waiter was attentive and I loved having breakfast in a historical building.
Great old place. Was a tad noisy (music) at night with the bar scene ... owners said IF we had let them know, the bar owners would have taken the music down a notch... loved sitting on the roof top balcony!

Williams, 950 North Grand Canyon Boulevard 🧭 Map
The rooms weren't too bad. Does have a heated indoor pool. My kids and I enjoyed a swim when it was snowing outside. Was kind of loud but expected with the room we had. The suite we had was a decent size. The service was great the first night, and the second wasn't very well. Walked to the front desk, and the lady saw me walking up but walked off and didn't offer to help me. Waited for 10 minutes,...
This is an older hotel but the rooms are clean and everything in our room was in working order. We used it as a resting place while visiting the Grand Canyon which is an hour away. It is an easy drive to the canyon and there are activities and good food in Williams too. The hotel staff were wonderful. They had good recommendations for places to eat. They straightened our room daily. And they allowed...
My group and I had to stay at the Ramada Wyndham Williams due to vehicle troubles. The app made it look like a pretty good hotel. It wasn't bad. From the outside and then outside of the rooms the hotel looks its age. The rooms while a little old were not bad. The beds were soft and the showers worked well. The hotel smelled a little funny but that is likely due to the indoor pool which sadly was closed...
I loved the place from first look as well as the cleanliness of the room & bathroom. The only issue was the sink was blocked & dirty (decided not to submit the photo). When reported to customer service, they claim no maintenance available at this time & offered to change the room. Since we were exhausted & tired from 12 hrs driving decided no to move to other rooms... No breakfast offered & I was surprised...
As clean as you can get for the rate! Nice enough! Jacuzzi was awesome, pool was clean. Friendly service. Breakfast was prepackaged. One hour from the canyon - check out the cute Main street of Route 66 in Williams! Fun western vibe complete with photo ops : jail, bank, brothel, stocks, saloon. Pine country restaurant’s food was old and tasted of uncovered fridge- even the pie was bad, but that has...

Rooms were nice and large with comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Clean. Nice indoor heated pool. Quiet. Nice restaurant and brewery next door. Convenient location for old Rt 66 and grand canyon.
Excellent choice for a stay in Williams. The superior rooms offer a little more room with a living area and sectional couch. It is right across the street from the train depot and near the downtown area. Great food is just right around the corner.
Stayed for a Grand Canyon visit, got room with two queens and a king. Room was Great for the four of us, very clean room. Breakfast was good and nice location for looking around and Canyon visit. Great prices compared to what else was available.
The hotel is celebrating its 6th year. What's important is it's kept clean. The rooms are spacious and there's great amenities. The only drawback was the pillows were poor.
Otherwise it's ideally located.
We stayed for only one night, but everything was so nice and clean. I loved that our room (family suite) was well stocked with towels and toilet paper that is enough for all 6 of us, unlike other hotels who in the same room only provide a few and we have to constantly ask for more. Red Roof Inn PLUS+ Williams - Grand Canyon
Williams, 642 East Route 66 🧭 Map
This is now a Red Roof Plus, nice renovation and cozy rooms. It does have a mini-fridge but be warned there is NO freezer. Just an FYI, but it is very nice. I will probably stay here again, but only if the price is good.
Its a Red Roof Inn plus. Great room for the price. Two very comfortable queen beds, a fridge, iron & ironing board, in room coffees. Over all a very good value for the price.
The hot tub is nice, pool area is clean. Bed was on the ground, no coffee/filters etc to go with the coffee pot. A/c was not on... room stayed hot all night... weirdest part if the stay: there was an uncovered window in the bathroom.... towels were cheap but clean. Fridge had no shelves, but kept my guy's insulin cold.
The room was clean and good sized. The staff was friendly, offering dining suggestions along with discounts. Nice to have a small fridge, micro and coffeemaker in the room. With no way to block the outside light sleeping was tough, so bring a sleep mask.
Our room was really nice! It was much bigger than we expected and the bed was a California king. However, it had not been cleaned before we arrived. The garbage had not been taken out, there were towels on the floor, and there wasn't any soap or shampoo. The woman behind the desk was very nice and breakfast was much bigger and better than what was described online, but it was pretty upsetting that...
I'm not sure what the other reviewers were expecting when they booked a room in the least expensive lodging in Williams. Pleasantly surprised by the location outside of the town in the woods. Very beautiful.

I've stayed here twice. Once, a couple of weeks ago, and 2 years prior to this recent trip. 2 years ago everything was nice and up to standards. Have been traveling from the east coast over the past 2 weeks and we have stayed in many Motels on our trip, and this was the best we have stayed in so far. From the front desk clerk, KJ, to the room, to breakfast, everything was great. If we are over in the area again, we will definitely stay there again.
They shouldn’t call this place Q. They should call it the KJ in. Probably the nicest young man ever in the history of working at a hotel. When you come off the road from a long trip, the last thing you want is delays or people who don’t float your boat. KJ rocked from the second we walked in. Extremely affordable, best money worth than the one across the street (this one has both a hot tub/jacuzziand swimming pool). Rooms can use a bit of an update/freshness and continental breakfast could be improved a bit. Other then that is a very affordable decent, safe, clean hotel with comfortable beds.
Great little place to recharge near the Grand Canyon. We stayed 2 nights and took in Williams and surrounding area. Nice pool area that we had to ourselves during the morning. Room was clean and comfy enough. Breakfast nor recommended but there's great restaurant options in town.

We stayed one night in this hotel during our visit to the Grand Canyon. We picked this hotel because of the close proximity to the canyon and a relatively low price.
Overall the stay was positive. The room was clean, no bed smells, no problems with electrical appliances. Although the interior was a bit outdated with marks on the walls, the room was cozy. The bed was large and soft, AC was working...
Just got in for our 2 night stay. Room was clean and it’s nice to have a good size mini fridge and a microwave. Nice towels in the bathroom. Nice younger kid working front desk. It’s definitely not a Hampton inn but it’s very nice for the price. Only complaint is that our room is missing a few light bulbs so it’s a little dark but overall nice place and will return.
Front staff was very friendly. I would say this motel is adequate. No bells and whistles. Some older looking aspects like duct tape on the wall, leak damage... but overall felt decently clean. We woke with lots of bug bites. Not sure if that was bed bugs or something from the area. Only coffee & juice available in the morning. Close drove distance to all the attractions, but not walking distance.
It’s not very far from the Grand Canyon. The rooms are very nice and extremely clean. The only thing they could do better is have more for breakfast other than having coffee and a Granola bar. I was worried at first with some of the bad reviews. They are even better than some of the high price motels. I even decided to stay another night I liked it so well.
I have stayed in a lot of Super 8 's , some filthy, but this one was one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in! Breakfast was good, and well stocked. Kara checked us in, she was friendly and very helpful! I would recommend this to my friends! Close to town and train station!

Beautiful area to camp. A bit pricy for one night, but laundromat water sewer electric and dumpsters plenty. Can't beat it. It is quiet and no street noise.

Sheridan House Inn - Tolko dlya vzroslyh
Williams, 460 East Sheridan Avenue 🧭 Map
Amazing!
I'm not sure where to start and I'm not sure I will have enough space to type everything but first let me say that Mark & Debbie were so wonderful! From their hospitality to their knowledge/tips on our activities to Mark (and staff) making wonderful breakfasts (and dinners - extra cost but worth it especially after traveling all day)!
My wife & I have only stayed at 1 other bed & breakfast...
Stayed here for my wife's birthday weekend in August. This is hands down the best B&B we have ever stayed in!
They were so helpful with my wife's dietary restrictions when we first arrived. We opted for dinner on their porch and regretted nothing!
The rooms were nice and a great size for the two of us. They even had a couples card game we played, cookies and a glass of wine upon arrival.
The one regret...
For those that may not read the entire review … you can stop looking at reviews and contact Sheridan House to make your reservation. You will not be disappointed!
For those that appreciate a more detailed review … My husband and I had the pleasure of spending a couple of nights at the Inn to celebrate our anniversary. Sheridan House exceeded our expectations in every way. The Inn is located in...
Amazing Experience! We booked a quick trip for our anniversary in May 2022. Our little getaway experience at the Sheridan House exceeded our expectations. The room was waiting for us with a beautiful display to celebrate our anniversary with a personal note from the owners. The recommendation for our anniversary dinner was wonderful only to be outdone by the most amazing breakfast in bed! If you are...
My (now) husband and I stayed here on our wedding night and for a portion of our honeymoon. It was the most incredible experience! Mark and Debbie are such kind and genuine people. Mark is an amazing chef; we are at many different places while on our trip in AZ but Mark's food was definitely out favorite. They never miss a detail and make you feel so comfortable and welcomed. Everything is so well...
My wife and I stayed here on two separate nights. Debbie and Mark were the best of hosts, not just welcoming but treated us like part of an extended family, with great tips on places to visit and some which were not even on the tourist maps which meant that we got to see fantastic vistas with no one else around.

El Rancho Motel
Williams, 617 East Route 66 🧭 Map
The room looked like it had been renovated quite recently but with haste. Cheap accessories in the bathroom that got broke into pieces and even the toilet was so poorly attached to the floor, that it leaked. The shower and the tub were old and really dirty.
The manager was really kind and helpfull.
Modern, clean, the bed was very comfortable.
The location of the motel is ideal, we could walk to the restaurants and animated area of the town easily.
Great place!
Loved this place. I didn't expect something so nice for the price. Staff was accommodating. The room was very clean and the flooring was so Plush everything was recently renovated. I quick walk to downtown and very close to the roller coaster.
Place was clean, had lots of space, and I would stay again ANYTIME! They leave menus for places near you in the rooms, which was helpful! There's so many things to walk and go see! (Everything closes pretty early so check times)
Water pressure and showers were great as well.
We had a very pleasant stay in this motel, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. We had to make some last minute changes to our reservation and they were very easy to deal with and didn't make any problems whatsoever! :)
Only I wish the prices were a bit cheaper
It's old, but fun. Warmly welcomed and can't complain. It feels like a motel from the movies, but without the cockroaches :)

Thank you
I had such good memories in Arizona
Love the rooms, owners, with a great breakfast. Would definitely recommend this place. Enjoyed the town also.
Beautiful B&B. Fab rooms, very clean and welcoming. Family-style breakfast is a highlight with a mix of traditional and modern selections. Owners are incredibly friendly and made us feel at home.
Giant comfortable bed with soft sheets, cool comfortable temperature room, 4 shower heads in my shower! High quality towels, access to a fridge, safe and secure location, friendly staff, stayed her for our trip to the Grand Canyon.
Our host was fantastic! If you are on vacation or your honeymoon, this is a great place to stay. You are a rocks throw away from historic downtown Williams.
Fantastic!! This lovely, homey B & B was exactly perfect for our two-couple party. We shared the Hacienda Suite, which was super cozy and private. Del and Sheri were wonderful hosts, so warm and friendly. They provided just about everything imaginable to make our stay comfortable. Sheri's gourmet breakfasts really spoiled us!! And together, they both shared great tips on where to go and what to...
