Aparthotel AnyosPark Mountain & Wellness Resort

We are small family travelling a lot. This was our biggest dissappoitment in terms of accomodation and I promise we are not picky. We dont need luxury accomodation but this was huge dissapoitment. Please read if you travel with kids. Also they are rennovating now and its messy and noisy what somebody might find unplessant.

We have choosen this hotel because it offered children playground and softplay and also it looked like it has outdoor sitting area right next to the playground. None of this was available for us during our stay.

First of all , while doing checkin ,the receptionist told us very clearly that indoor softplay isnt open. This dissappointed our 4 years old daughter. She was crying when we told her what receptionist said.

The receptionist also said “but you can go to playground” and she pointed to outdoor playground on the map of area.
Relieved we said ,ok that will do. We took our daughter there on that day and we been said by another member of staff in the TOC restaurant that “ No it isnt open” . apparently it was opened only for some birthday party and he also told us it isnt going to be open next day either.

At that point i must say i was thinking about check out and go to find different place but we decided to manage and find some alternative plan how to entartain her.

After couple of days I went to reception to ask about another matter and meanwhile I mentioned how dissapointed I was with no kids activities and I been told that softplay was actually open! So apparently previous receptionist gave me wrong information. That should not be happening. Not in “family friendly 4* hotel. Too bad.

She also told me to go to outdoor playground apparently it was also opened that day but what a joke as it was heavy raining that day.

Another bad experience was that my husband ordered himself packed breakfast for following morning as he went for sport event and they said of course ,told him to come to collect it at reception. To his bad surprise there was nothing for him next day morning. We asked then refund of money which they did. But come on - this should have not happened either in 4* hotel. He went to his sport event and had to stop at supermarket for food. Very inconvinient. They didnt give us any apology in form of free dinner or so.That I would be expecting at least.

Night before our checkout , we got letter through the door saying breakfast will be in different place as our part of the hotel was under the renovation.Fine thats ok. Renovation was going on there during our stay but it wasnt disturbing us much, a bit messy and dusty but it was only on our way out and as I said we are not picky, so didnt feel much bothered by this .

But what was again disspointing was standard of breakfast . That changed on that day so much that it was not worth 2* hotel. Very ,very bad. They didnt just move breakfast to other part of the complex,they did not provide the same breakfast we had other days.It was only about 1/2 of selection so again not breakfast worth 4* hotel. Really shame !

I wanted to speak to manager but apperently manager was on holiday.

Over all I must say NO for this hotel and certainly not worth 4*.

Very old room, phone does not work, cannot call reception from room. Reception area being remodeled, work area not sealed or taped up with plastic sheets, dust gets into breakfast area, dust in the area, spa is not in the same building, have to walk a long distance in the cold, it would be worst if it is windy, rain or snow, hallway dark, motion sensor doesn’t come on until one steps into complete darkness, not a good feeling. Hotel towels are thin, cheap, less than comfortable. Will not recommend staying at this hotel
