Rea Boutique Hotel in Himare

An exceptional hotel - right on the water, with modern, comfortable rooms and owned and managed by a delightful family. During our week in Albania, this was our favourite hotel and the breakfast was the best we had anywhere. It is worth going to Himare just to stay here.

Family owned hotel with very much heart - we had a really nice stay here. The service, the hotelroom the breakfast everything was perfect. We are the first time in albania - we get the perfect start for our trip. The view on the ocean is Beautiful in the morning - and they did everything to make our stay at himare perfect.

Amenities.......bed, huge and comfortable. Location ..so close to town but feels like a village rice field full of frogs and birdsong. Service...great ! Food...one of the owners is a 5 star chef...standards are very high. He,s also a conniseur of coffee ! Reu is unique...I wrote this this morning while waiting for the rain to pass...... "Rain slowed my early morning plans today....been recording some of the fab staff and gorgeous design elements of this unique hotel.....its about grounding, health, balance, at one with its land and its traditions...a destination in itself...then you have HoiAn as well ! "

in a world of chat bots and faceless service this lovely hotel is an analog reminder of how good service can be . The hotel is very nicely designed and the rooms are well functioning with great air conditioning, beds and bathrooms. Right on the waterfront, no need for a pool here . Breakfast is good with fresh homegrown vegetables. But in all the most important ingredient is the family that run this place .. so warm and welcoming that I felt i was part of the family

Fantastic boutique hotel . Couldnt fault it . Location perfect at the end of beach but walking distance to bars & restaurants. Rooms are beautiful & very clean. Breakfast delicious. The owners are so hospitable nothing was too hard

This is a very modern small hotel run by a lovely family. I think there are 8 rooms, it was tough to get a booking but I managed to contact the owner on “WhatsApp “. I got a room with a Mountain View and lucky to even get a room. Room is small but great A/c, Wi-Fi excellent. Breakfast is made to order and is very tasty. The hotel is located on the far side of the beach about a 3 minute walk to town. Just book this lovely place if you can, owners are very accommodating.

Our stay at Rea Boutique Hotel was excellent. Nestoras and his wife, along with their staff, were accommodating and helpful, especially when we needed help with arranging private transfers and with planning for our bus back to Sarandë. The room was immaculately presented, the bathroom facilities were modern, the towels and linen was comfortable and changed daily. We stayed in one of the Premium Deluxe rooms which had a spectacular sea view and a luxurious bathtub. I would recommend that room to everyone if you're able to afford it - it's worth every penny. Breakfast was offered (at a slight additional cost) every morning we stayed. We enjoyed it so much on our first day that we decided straight away to eat there every morning. There's a good variety for most diets. Each dish was home-made, and completely delicious. The coffee was barista quality, and delicious. The 'homemade pancakes' were our favourite part, but the rotation of sweet cakes were great too. The hotel is very well located - very close to the promenade with the most convenient restaurants, and close to supermarkets too. The adjacent beach is nice, and they've even got some private sun loungers / beds for hotel guests only. It's easy to get to the port and bus station, and you can easily get to the most popular tourist places in Himarë, including Livadi beach, Potami beach, Himarë castle and Porto Palermo. The mountain and sea views are spectacular, and the area is safe too. I'd recommend Rea Boutique Hotel to anyone travelling the beautiful Albanian riviera.

We had the best time at the Rea Boutique Hotel! Nestoras and his wife and family were wonderful hosts - bringing us fresh grapes on the beach every day and arriving early the morning we had to leave to make us coffee! The hotel is the perfect location at the edge of the bay (nice and quiet!), but super close to everything, with a small beach and lounge chairs/umbrellas available. The rooms are modern and lovely - we stayed in a mountain view room for two nights, and the main suite for two nights and loved both. The daily breakfast was so fresh and delicious, served from the terrace overlooking the harbor. We loved strolling the promenade every day and going for swims. Definitely take a walk over to Kico Meniko and up to Old Himarë! Wish we were still here!!!

We loved everything about this boutique hotel, what a great spot! We booked an sea view room for 2 nights on a recent trip to Himare. The hotel is well-located right on the waterfront next to the port, only about a 3 min walk into all the restaurants and shops – very handy. The hotel has a free parking lot located about 100m from the premises. The hotel is a small, family-run, 3-storey affair with 7 guest rooms available. It is modern and trendy, nicely furnished and well-maintained. Our room had huge sliding doors opening onto a large balcony with amazing sea views and views back to Himare and the hills behind. The rising sun streams in in the morning, but by midday and into the afternoon the balcony is in shade, making it nice for relaxing. There was a small fridge, TV, AC, and a good Wifi connection. The bathroom was beautiful with a nice bathtub next to picture windows overlooking the sea – magical! There is beach access and some reserved loungers and umbrellas (for guests) just 100m down the road. The owners are very kind and welcoming and were helpful in recommending things to do in the area. The hotel breakfast was good and worth giving a try. It was beautiful eating breakfast on the deck as the sun rose over the water. We had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend this place to other travelers looking for a great base in Himare. This was the best accommodation we had in Albania.

Great from start to finish . The hotel is set in a beautiful location , our suite was very large and comfortable . The bed was one of the best we’d slept in . The owners are really helpful and kind , the breakfast is delicious with a lots of choice . The town and beach is very close by and the hotel has its own sun beds and towels . I would certainly recommend it ( and will do to all my friends . Thanks for a great stay
