This hotel has quite a nice location five kilometres east of Podgradec, right on Lake Ohrid where you can sit outside and enjoy the view and a brimful glass of wine. I also liked the room, spacious and nice with a balcony overlooing the lake. Wifi was working quite nicely. That was the good part. The guys who was working (no, was present) in the reception and bar were not too attentive. They could hardly be bothered to walk five metres from the bar area to the reception when we checked out. The TV wasn`t working. We put our bag in the sofa, and next morning we saw that it was crawling with loads of tiny ants - which travelled with us to the next hotel. The breakfast was non existent. We arrived at 08.10, and all that was there was some slices of bread, butter and jam. The toaster wasn`t working - it didn`t even have power. I plugged the socket and put two slices through it, but it came out luke warm. There were a couple of cold sad looking fried eggs, and some sweet buns, and that`s it. We went somewhere else and bought a decent breakfast.

Stayed here as part of a group tour. Our room was in the same building as reception at the back of the hotel, overlooking gardens and mountains. The room was large with two beds, one double, one single. There was a balcony but no furniture on it. The bathroom was modern with some complimentary toiletries. One setting on the shower made water spray everywhere! Wifi in the room was best nearest the door and intermittent on the far side of the room. Otherwise, I would describe the room as functional and impersonal. I think there were some rooms in the building nearer the lake where breakfast was served. Proximity to the lake shore is definitely an asset of the hotel, although I suspect if sunbathing is your thing, you have to get up early to claim a free sunbed! You are also served by a small shop a few hundred metres up the road (turn left at end of car park) and restaurants nearby - can recommend pizza place next door. Breakfast was haphazard! You had to pay for coffee, unless the waiters were feeling too harassed/you pretend not to understand! Otherwise, there is juice, eggs, bread, and cereal. You can eat breakfast overlooking the lake. A clean, functional hotel for a short stay to enjoy the lake.

The restaurant is great, the food is amazing. The view from the restaurant is beautiful and the lake is right in front of the hotel, making it very easy to go there. The service is nice and the staff was very helpful. I recommend this hotel to everyone. It's possibly the best hotel in Pogradec.

We checked out within an hour of check-in, room was awful. There are 2 properties run by the same staff, one is waterfront the other is across the road. We had booked a family suite and were across the road. The reception there is not manned, we had to ring for someone to check us in. When we got to the room we cringed, it smelt awful, carpets throughout and covered in stains. Sofa covered in stains, crumbs on the floor. Awful. We said let's go and get a drink in the restaurant and maybe we will feel better, after 5 minutes sitting no one served us so we went elsewhere for a drink and when out for a drink we booked another hotel. Cannot comment on the food, we never got to sample it but would definitely advise against booking room here. I think the reviews are high based on location/bar, definitely not for accommodation

Bad service at the restaurant. The waiter took like hours for a coffee order and never took our lunch order in a not busy Monday noon with an almost empty restaurant/ bar. He just gave us the menus, and we were forced to wait without any refreshments because he didn’t even ask if we needed anything as a starter. I called him several times but he kept going to other tables for coffee and water orders.

A modern, smallish hotel sitting on the shores of Lake Ohrid. The view from the terrace over the waters and across from snow covered mountain peaks is lovely. The rooms are large and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast feature local dishes. The hotel served us as a base for exploring the region.

Baked Koran fish in tomato sauce by Pogradec/Ohrid Lake! Attached to this was a traditional special pie called Lakror. Don’t forget these two plates and never will be disappointed
