AAOK Riverdale Caravan Park

7 day stay, powered site. With the exception of Friday, Saturday night, which is beyond the control of management due to the pub across the river, this is a very peaceful caravan park. Right on the Burnett River with plenty of room to exercise my dogs. The management are excellent and keep this place immaculate. Professional, great communication and personable. Just decent people who do a great job as if it were their own home. I appreciate the coded security on the laundry and amenities without having to have a fob or key. Very nice camp kitchen although I didn't use it, great staff, lots of green grass and not a Bible full of rules and regs. It's common sense to behave with dignity and respect. Great permanents who don't make you feel as though you are intruding, just a heartbeat from a great Iga, petrol and liquor store and only a short 2 min drive from the heart of Bundaberg. Better than being right in Bundaberg. Very happy and will return again.

Came for 2 nights, stayed for 5. Great place to stay, handy to CBD, super clean facilities, great washing machines and lovely staff. These Kiwi travelers will be back!

We just came back from 2 nights in a compact Queen room. Yes it looks a bit tired on the outside but these tiny (yes “compact” is very accurate!) are impeccably clean and have everything you need. Such a great idea being relocatable. So if the Burnett River floods again, they can simply haul these relocatable homes out. The only thing they were lacking was maybe some towel hooks, but this was no big deal. We used the car as everything seemed to be on the other side of the river, but certainly walkable. But it was 36 degrees during our stay, so we drove. There’s two units in each relocatable home and yes you can hear everything from your neighbours, but for the price it’s fine. All in all, a very pleasant surprise, and we would definitely stay there again. We really appreciated the early check in too.

We spent about 4 nights in Bundaberg. Our holidays were up to a rough start due to the weather.
Managers on site were so lovely, caring and kind. Ultimately, the park could do with a bit of live, but as explained later on, the park got flooded quite a few times.
It might not look spank new, but it was comfortable, safe and clean. The camp kitchen is very well stocked and equipped.
Oh and the rates are more than fair!

Rooms are a good size for an overnight stay. It was new as even the kettle still had the sticker on it and the half van with good size toilet and shower was spotlessly clean and proved with new soft towels and toiletries. Aircon works very well, and tv is a good size. Parking was outside the door. Plenty of storage in the room. The inner spring bed is something to want to take home and come with great bed covers to snuggle into and even the pillows feel new. It's about at 10 to 15min walk to a good feed at a pub. The staff at reception made it easy to check in on arrival. The standard set at this place is high and many motels could learn from them. I was hesitant at booking into a caravan park but I was very surprised in a good way. Highly recommended and well done to the staff.

Fantastic service by the manager. She was very friendly and welcoming. Great recommendations for food options as well as very informative about the facilities. The park was very tidy and toilet/shower areas were clean. Location wise was perfect (the only downfall was the Friday night nightclub music booming until 3am but an unavoidable factor). Would recommend and definitely would stay here again.

Stayed twice and highly recommend! Staff is lovely, sites are well maintained, laundry with new cashless machines, camp kitchen with spacious fridge and plenty of seating, amenities are clean, location is quiet but central, and fellow guests nice to chat with.

Great spot, pleasantly surprised, new owners doing a great job, very reasonable rates and clean facilities....will be back
