I've stayed at alot of Hotels and normally at The Oaks and I think that this bed and linen and pillows was the comfiest yet!! Nice big size smart tv, renovated rooms,quiet,safe great value and the breakfast they provide you in you're room is pretty damn good!

The carpet needs replacing, it’s old and stained. The bed and linen was good. There seems to be people that permanently live in some rooms at the property so having them sit outside smoking etc a lot of the night wasn’t so great and is offputting.

The Manager walked out, took keys as we drove in with several other guests in theur cars at 2pm check in. Told to wait till 3:20pm; all returned,,told no manager no keys to office. Nice hotel with everything you might need, its just out of the Bundaberg CBD, so may not work for elderly people without transport. Restaurant is well worth a visit for dinner.

Everything except the restaurant linked had a lot of foods that are not on a normal restaurant menu and expensive.

Bed was so soft it felt like there were no springs for support, pillows were like rocks, the bed creaked so loud every time you even slightly moved. Furniture and bed is dated. Toilet seat and toilet were falling apart and everyone could hear when you’re on there because of the creak of the seat. Nice balcony to enjoy but nothing to sit on to enjoy it. Not worth the $235 we paid for the night.

Didn't particularly enjoy being allocated room 26 at back of property. Further didn't appreciate that it didn't have a guaranteed parking space, although a third of the numbered spaces were empty. Additionally for a large part of our stay there was no wifi. Dissapointed

I've stayed at Bundaberg Best Western a few times now. They have always been professional and supportive. The rooms were clean and well stocked with teas and coffees. The staff are very friendly and have managed to keep me in the same room every time I visit. The location is quite central, with multiple restaurants located within walking distance.

Wonderful place to stay, hideaway from the busy life. So peaceful and a nice outback view. Our host Garth was so friendly and his bacon and egg breakfast was amazing! Ensure to have your own vehicle as it is a hideaway haven, 20-30 mins drive from town. I would definitely go back again.

A great motel in a convenient location in Bundaberg. The staff were amazing in helping us to check-in late and leave our bags for the day when we checked out.

Only one wine glass and only one cereal spoon for a double room. Had to use a mug for one of the wines not ideal at all on vacation. But have to say loved Bundaberg and surrounding area very much. Would book something else to stay next visit from Scotland 🥲

Very happy with family room accommodation. Very clean. Modern bathroom with good water pressure and hot water. Location is great with a short walk from the railway station and very close to food outlets, the nearby coffee shop providing a fair breakfast. For a school holiday visit, the motel was not overpriced like some of its near neighbours. Good parking options. Highly recommended.

One night stop for a visit to Mon Repos. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped (fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave). Fresh milk and water in the fridge was very welcome. On a busy road and the motel style car park created some noise, but this was as expected and not too disruptive. Would recommend the hotel for a visit to the Bundaberg area.

A warm welcome with helpful local advice. A good breakfast is available. The rooms are equipped with very large number of power points which I find useful. I would happily stay at Takalvan Motel again.

Stayed at the motel for three days two nights. Room was very clean and bathroom was spotless. Cleaning is done daily, a quiet place to stay yet close to the CBD.

Comfortable, secure, accessible. Stayed here for weeks for site placement - owners lovely, food options delicious via room service, and the beds were easy to sleep in. Extremely clean, hot showers, crispy air-con. Only future recommendation is to increase wifi strength as it does take a bit of buffer time. Highly recommend Acacia if you're staying in Bundaberg :)

The room was so clean and tidy, and for the first time we can find bible inside the room . The staff was friendly and helpful and they understand our needs and offer if we need milk or coffee or tea bags and they are smiling all the time and that made me feel more comfortable and ease. Only downside was no rooms with cooking facilities which would have been useful for my long stay but staff facilitated me cooking in the outdoor area and supplied cooking utensils to assist. Great place to stay for two and a bit months during my locum at the hospital. Owner has great hospitality and the cleaning staff were friendly too. Nothing was ever too much effort to help make the stay more comfortable. Room had great facilities to feel like a home away from home.

Charm City Motel is an older motel that obviously the owner/ manager takes enormous pride in. Beautiful comfortable beds, fabulous location, on main road, but not on a traffic light intersection, therefore no noisy breaking during the night - big bonus for us. Very clean and tidy, undercover parking. It's winter, so didn't try out the pool area. Look forward to staying again. Exceptional value...

We have stayed at Golden Palms numerous times on our trips to Bundy and have always found our room clean, tidy and well presented. The management is always accommodating with any requests. The location is central and close to all amenities.

A very comfortable room - tea, coffee and biscuits , kettle.microwave. toaster and fridge provided. Pillows perfect and bed comfy. Rooms are quiet - no noise from neighbours or road. Many shops close and CBD only 5 minutes away. Walk in shower and all very clean.

Stayed here twice quite pleasantly. Staff are friendly. One time we stayed in a room with kitchen, surprisingly found out the TV has Netflix. One time we stayed in a standard room, there’s something hanging around underneath the bed, made noise which annoyed me. I found something to stop the metal swinging around. This is the only one down side from this Motel, otherwise I had two good stays there

The Matilda Motel is one of best to stay at when visiting Bundaberg, it is very close to town which has a great selection of shops. The rooms are always very clean and tidy . I have been here for 6 nights tonight is the last one, I also applied for another 2 day extension after paying then cancelling I asked for a refund of my 2 nights, then a war with the staff begun. Think twice before staying here, i was told of a up keep of the room, and got nothing not even clean laundry or a fresh made bed, 1 small milk is all i have got in all this time.
