Charm City Motel

Very disappointed in this motel found the staff to be quite rude i had travelled 3 and a half hours to get there for them to refuse me my room that was pre booked through a organisation for no reason at all still hoping I will get a refund come Monday the lady at the front counter was very rude and there was no need what so ever for it. Will never be going there again
in reply to the owner - no I had two people. I was dropping my children off I had the extra money to pay for the extra person you said you had no extra rooms wich is fair enough but as soon as I mention wich organisation had pre booked the room and already paid , you bluntly refused us wich left us stranded So I'm hoping you refunded the money do the honest thing. Just because you've had bad experiences with other people its not right that others have to pay for it. But I will making sure I put up on other social media about the services at your motel your attitude was very uncalled for..

Hate to leave a bad review but I have to. Very unprofessional and rude owners & staff.

Booked in advance and stated late arrival (8/9pm). Issue with card on booking site, updated it and all was fine. Within an hour of arriving, received an email the booking was cancelled. Immediately called up and was told they tried to contact us multiple times (no calls, texts or emails) and the card couldn't be charged so it was cancelled by the owners. (Card was fine to be used and had been used in various other businesses around Australia)

Asked if we could just pay on arrival and that we had just drove 5+ hours, was told she would have to ask the owners and call us back. No call back after 20 mins and we were nearly there so we called back. The woman proceeded to tell us again why the booking was cancelled?! Stated we asked could we pay on arrival and she said she had asked owners and they said no they gave our room away already (so without 30 mins of cancellation they had booked someone else in eventhough we called straight away).

Told her that we were not impressed and they were leaving us stranded (8pm at night). And she hung up on us. Called back and no answer. So not only have they left us stranded, they were were extremely rude to us. Also to note, checked the site after and still 2 rooms available to book for that night. Luckily we were able to book another motel nearby last min and the woman at reception waited for us to arrive(a lot of the motels here close the receptions at 8pm)

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE unless you're prepared to be left stranded and rearrange your plans.

Cannot comment on rooms as we did not stay there.
