What a great destination! The building is getting a little dated but the rooms are very comfortable. The beds are perfect. Rates and food and drink was as expected and a fair price. We will return

I had such a great experience at the Rydges Geelong Hotel. The staff are super friendly and the beds are very comfortable. I like the initiative where if you choose not to have your room attended for that day you get a $10 food and beverage voucher in exchange. I felt really cared for during my stay - I would highly recommend this hotel.

This is my third stay at Rydges Geelong for the Avatar course. It has always been smooth and pleasant arrival and departure. The staff are welcoming and accommodating. Good coffee available from the restaurant. The rooms are in great condition and the beds are the BEST! Seriously, every element of the bed is so comfortable; mattress, pillows, sheets, doona... The whole package! I sleep wonderfully...

We stayed one night for a rowing regatta and found the location to be perfect. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. The hotel was close to restaurants, shops and the river. The rooms were spacious and clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We slept incredibly well. The hotel is quiet with no traffic or street noise and we managed to get a lovely ocean view. Great place to stay in Geelong location was excellent the room spacious and clean and the staff at reception and room maintenance welcoming and friendly. Looking forward to a longer stay next time

Great location on the main *****. Good shops around. Swimming pool could be warmer considered it’s a heated pool. And family room could have more toys for kids and the projector didn’t work. But the staff were nice and the restaurant was lovely.

We had a lovely stay at Geelong Novotel but unfortunately the air conditioning had broken down. We were given a fan which helped, but it was a struggle to remain comfortable when the temperature was close to 30o outside.

Novotel was a perfect location, rating it as 10 stars if I could. The only thing, I booked for 2 rooms at Trip.com but got only one room when we actually went to Novotel so I need to book again for another room .The reception said I was overpriced from trip.com paying for 2 rooms when it's actually only one ☹️☹️☹️

Everything was good  But when I asked for coffee in the buffet breakfast  They say it’s chargeable. As per my booking it clearly says toothpaste toothbrush is included. But they were not in the washroom. I didn’t bring as I thought as it’s a 4 star hotel it’s all included.

Very nice hotel. Excellent location on the waterfront close to the waterfront activities. We had a balcony which gave a view of the sea. Room was comfortable and clean. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Big shopping centre close by. On site Tempo restaurant was very nice - great atmosphere and good food. Just beware of the portion sizes - really big!

Perfect location along the boardwalk. Close to shops and cafes Very good menu, lovely staff Bed was very comfortable, we’ve actually ordered pillows . The whole Room was clean & bathroom was spacious Room was excellent Staff were very helpful, price was steep for valet parking

Good for sleep not for cooking. The only thing in the room is a kettle. Beds are fine, bathroom is very good. Good choice of breakfast.

Has been slipping for quite a while now. I've stayed here many times for business. I am looking for somewhere else to stay after the last visit. The rooms are hit and miss. Last stay had what looked like vomit on the front door. Asked for it to be cleaned but job was poor. unpainted and patched walls In the room looked bad, especially for the price. The two times before that the legs of the tables...

Good safe and clean spot for the price. It was right on the ocean too and I was able to go for a great morning jog along a bike path right on the ocean. I was there for business and would use it again for that reason. I wouldn’t call this a romantic vacation spot but if you’re passing through this is a great place for the price.

Nice rooms. Friendly helpful staff. Rooms madeup each day to a high standard. Grratviews of the bay. Close to geelong waterfront - well nice 15 min walk.

This was an old school that has been converted to apartments. It is very close to Kardinia Park so not sure how noisy or busy it is when the cats play. Bur it was a really nice spacious apartment with small laundty kitchenette etc. If only the walls could talk there would be a lot of stories. Only strange thing was when you pushed lift buttons they didn't light up do you werent sure if you had pushed...

Lovely apartments in a great location. Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with my parents which was very comfortable in winter.

The room facilities are too old. There is a smell of old furniture in the room. The hygiene is OK, but the hotel is too old.

Booked it seven years ago and felt good then. This time I changed the room and the experience was average. It was Australia Day and there was a party next door until 2am. It was very close to the railway and driveway and there was a building that was very noisy. The advantage is that it is close to the beach, the room is large, standard motel mode, and the price/performance ratio is good.

The room is large and cost-effective. There is a kitchen for cooking and simple kitchen utensils. Overall, I am quite satisfied.

The environment is very good and clean, the scenery inside the hotel is also good, and the heated swimming pool is very comfortable. It is worth recommending.

We had a wonderful stay at Barwon Valley Lodge over the Labour day long weekend. The units are good size with full kitchen and comfortable furniture. The place had good quality amenities like clean heated pool and spa, bikes for whole family, tennis, foxtel, frisbee and a bonus EV charging!. There is a children's play area, a lake, birds, washing machines, dryers and kitchen utensils. It is a very cost-effective homestay.

26 family members just had the most wonderful Christmas at this gorgeous resort. Gracious and extremely helpful hosts, wonderful amenities, rooms that were spotless and fully equipped, a beautiful, clean pool and surrounds and a lovely gazebo where we celebrated our Christmas lunch. Stayed here for 2 nights with my family on a little holiday. Kids loved the multiple play grounds and jumping pillow. Pool is also great and warm which is defenitley a bonus. We stayed in a cabin and it was immaculately clean. Will defenitley be back.

Fairly central location. Reasonably priced for an inner city holiday park. Discounted rates with G'day Parks Pass. Staff were curteous. Well grassed sites, plenty of trees, clean amenities. Sites were very close together and tight for manoeuvring in places. Nice hot shower. 15 -20 minute drive to the Spirit of Tasmania. Thankfully the levy protected the park from the recent flooding of the Barwon River...

Front office people friendly. Older amenities but clean. Hot showers with great water pressure. Nice campers kitchen though a bit far from our camp site. Cement and grassed site. Obviously a family park, great for kids with playgrounds and pool. Easy location to get to.

Definitely a nice place for RV, with powered sites, clean water, grey water and black water disposal. A big playground for the kids to play and even motor karts to rent. Toilet are spacious, however, the hot water doesn't seems to work. Hope this can be fixed. Laundry service with dryers for your needs.

The hotel was great value for money. Very clean and spacious room and the staff were super friendly and helpful.

Fantastic motel. Clean and fresh room, stayed in queen bedroom. Huge shower. Kettle, microwave, TV, wifi, coffee, milk, tea, biscuits provided. Fluffy towels and soft shower mat. Walking distance to McDonald's, Belmont Shopping Centre. Kelly the owner very accommodating for my needs with a late checkout. Would stay here again.

Although door to bathroom appeared not to fit due to being split half way and larger causing us not to be able to close . The Motel was walking distance to eating, off the main drive for noise and we were only about 10 minutes drive from new Able Tasman Terminal at Geelong. We had plenty of room where we stayed. Lovely accommodation in Geelong. Walking distance to shops, RSL, takeaway and Restaurants. Clean and fresh room. Friendly service and very accommodating for a late check out. We'll stay here again when we get the Spirit to and from Tasmania. 😄

Amazing location, right on the water near cafes and the Westfield onlooking the esplanade. Rooms were very clean. Kitchen was well equipped with plenty of crockery.

Great place to stay with a group walking distance to the beach and just a great set-up. Easily catered for the 15 that we were allowed.

Great location, had a fantastic time with the people I was there with, some of the kitchen facilities were a bit old, but the bathrooms were good and it was perfect for what we wanted. Pool was fun

The whole place was clean and had a homely feel. The staff were helpful and friendly to us (we were there for a scuba/snorkelling lesson).
