Our family used 2 cabins & a pwrd site. Amenities for pwrd sites have been upgraded and are lovely. Cabins were spotless and compact but enough room to move, very well laid out. Children’s play areas have also been upgraded, and a pool has been installed. Quite a bit of $$ has been spent on this park. In my opinion it’s the only one worth staying at. Very accommodating hosts who can’t do enough to make your stay enjoyable.

My family and I stayed for 2 nights (Friday and Saturday) in a cabin. Check in was after hours and was an easy process with keys in a locked box and instructions via text. The cabin itself was dated but in fair condition. The bed was not comfortable and only had 1 small pillow each (not spares in cupboards even) and curtains all had bits out of them resulting in light coming in. There was also only 2 towels provided when booking was for more people. The wifi was non existent and would not join. There was 1 dinner plate, 1 bread/side plate and 2 bowls, 3 sharp knives, 2 butter knives, 2 teaspoons and 1 fork to be shared amongst the family. This was very poor. The most concerning thing was the electric blanket cord had been tagged and tested but had FAILED on the sticker! This did not fill with confidence of safety. The dinosaur statues were cool but also a concern with one which says for kids to sit on lifting off the ground due to loose bolts. Positives were the playgrounds were great and staff were very friendly. Location also a positive. Have stayed at a caravan park nearby before which is much preferable.

We pre booked which was quick and easy have done this few times ladies at reception was friendly and welcoming found our little piece of paradise for the night the cabin was pretty clean

Wonderful, warm and comfortable cabin..... heated pool in winter was a great surprise for the children.
We left something behind and the staff promptly contacted us and then held on to it until we could make it back to collect. Much appreciated.

Right from the start, I was VERY impressed with the friendliness, kindness and care of the reception staff. I'd suddenly needed somewhere to stay in Geelong while my Mum was in hospital, & they were very helpful & flexible in accommodating our needs. The park had a very relaxed & friendly atmosphere, (helped by the friendly staff you see around the place), adding to the lovely "home away from home" feeling this place has. The cabin itself was very warm & cosy in the cold weather (it had an electric blanket on the bed, which was wonderful in winter!) & very comfortable. It was all set up very well, including great cooking facilities with everything you need. It was a very positive, friendly experience at a very difficult time for me. I'd gladly come back again for a holiday sometime!

Stayed at Barwon River Holiday park for Easter with family stayed in a 2Brm cabin which was very clean & had everything we wanted. Had lots of things for kids & Very impressed that the facilities very cleaned everyday especially the pool area, would be back again.
