Tropic Coast Motel

We booked exceptionally late and the team was very accommodating. We required two rooms and we were able to book on super short notice. We understood that this motel was not a 5 star establishment and did not pretend to be. The addition of free WiFi and Netflix on the TV is a great touch. I read thr supplied folder and for the first day or so, tried to make sure we were out of the room during the noted service period for those staying multiple nights. Disappointingly our room was not serviced or re-stocked during our stay. We were unable to try the breakfast as menus were not supplied and to get them, you needed to go to reception which was locked during our stay due to a large dog on premises (large dogs don't bother me but I can appreciate that they were being responsible to keep him away from other guests) so it made interacting quite awkward. The beds were unfortunately extremely uncomfortable and the kids weren't able to use the pool or playground as there is no shade during the day. I would have appreciated a working lock in the combined shower
/ toilet area also. Overall you get what you pay for and for that price point, you get more than expected here. It's not the most luxurious or comfortable place but it is functional and is located in a reasonably convenient part of town.

Clean room. Bed was comfortable. Down to earth management .
