Staff very helpful and friendly. Love good manners and good communication with heart. Accommodation close to my work, restuarant for meals. Easy, didnt need a hire car. Rib fillet steak was 10 out of 10. Excellent.

Nice hotel. Friendly team members and the facilities are pretty good. Had a few issues accessing the wifi and pricing for mini bar. No list in room and online document didn’t contain. TVs need a bit of an upgrade as slow to work and connect

The staff were amazing. John was able to assist us with our requirements which we thought may have been impossible. Very helpful checkin and check out personnel, and bar/restaurant staff could not have been more polite and helpful. I will always take the opportunity to stay there when we can.

Whilst I only stayed overnight during holiday travel, the experience at Ibis Mackay was great. A compact but very comfortable room overlooking Hay Point and the adjacent cane fields. The staff, especially those in the restaurant were fantastic. They really made for a relaxing experience - just what is needed after a long day travelling.

The room was lovely, clean and quiet. The reception staff very friendly. The bar staff at breakfast not so much - very curt, and the breakfast itself sub-par. Was really looking forward to starting each day with something delicious, but most of the choices (and there weren't many) were very average. I'm very easily pleased, so was truly disappointed.

We loved it. So spacious for our 4 kids. It was felt really homie. 1 Min walk to beautiful beach. Kids loved hop scotch. Downside is we never had enough time to enjoy it more. But we will be back. Thank you for pleasurable stay. You will see us again.

All the ammenaties that one could possibly need. Spa, 2 pools, tennis courts and a 500 meter walk to the beach. Neat and tidy units with lots of space and very affordable. Highly recommend and a great place to stay

Great place to stay. Clean, well appointed and friendly place. Lots of room for the kids to enjoy themselves and it felt like we had the beach to ourselves! Will be back!

My family and I stayed at tropic coast for some time, during our stay we were made to feel very welcome, Eva and bryan and their cleaning team were very polite and more then happy to catered to my family's needs. Room was great, comfortable beds, motel itself is well maintained. 11 out of 10 will stay here again.

Stay early February 2024. Great friendly service. Nice rooms, comfy beds, big TV. Great rates and close to everything you need. No road noise from road either😀

We stayed with 6 people and we couldn’t have picked a more affordable, comfortable, clean and friendlier place to stay. The managers Brian and Eva were so welcoming and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. The whole motel was so clean and the bed was heaven. Thankyou so much Brian and Eva for being so patient and friendly with my little one and also the older ones lol

We booked exceptionally late and the team was very accommodating. We required two rooms and we were able to book on super short notice. We understood that this motel was not a 5 star establishment and did not pretend to be. The addition of free WiFi and Netflix on the TV is a great touch. I read thr supplied folder and for the first day or so, tried to make sure we were out of the room during the noted...

Clean room. Bed was comfortable. Down to earth management .

Driving up to Mackay was searching for a room for a night after several motels were fully booked but the last motel suggested here. Lucky for me they had a room, organized a key as a late arrival.. the lady taking my call was very kind, showed empathy after being on the road for 12 hours driving and even organized breakfast.. now I have a new motel to stay at in Mackay. Very comfortable bed, lots hot...
