It's cheaper and far more efficient to use my mobile phones to stream .
Lounge and bed were comfortable. Carpet was in good condition and clean. Tiles had a few marks/chips, but were clean. Views were good and the outside area (located on level 1) is lovely.
The air conditioning unit is a little tricky to use. Push and hold the temperature adjustment buttons on the wall controller to set your preferred temperature, and the unit switches automatically between heating and cooling as needed. It all works OK when you have figured it out.
The room had a round spa tub, with shower over, and a window to the bedroom. It is relatively high to climb into, although there is good space and the hot water is strong and consistent.
Wifi was included, with download and upload speeds of about 53 and 27 Mbps respectively.
Parking was included and was easy to access and use.
Pricing, determined by seasons and holidays, obviously vary.
Rooms are slightly dated, however the service was good and did I mention the location?
Perfectly situated above 'eat street along the beach'... so you will hear a din from street level at times.
Check-in was quick and the reception staff were courteous, helpful and friendly.
The room layout was that the bed was immediately as you walk in then you walk pass a bathroom into the lounge kitchen area, the room was spotlessly clean with quality towels provided and crisp clean bedding. The bed was very comfortable.
The bathroom was a good size with a spa bath and overhead shower. It also had a full size washing/dryer machine. The kitchen was more than suitable for a weekend away (dishwasher, microwave, small hob, small fridge) but the ice box didn't freeze ice cubes and the kitchen did not have an oven. all other appliances were good.
The lounge had a two seater sofa, that could be converted to a sofa bed and one other lounge chair. The TV was a bit old but worked well along with a CD player and blue tooth sound system.
The balcony was a good size and had a table and two chairs with the most fantastic views of the pool area , the beach and the ocean.
The pool area and gardens were immaculate with BBQ areas and shaded seating. There was also an indoor pool and gym. A roof terrace gave you even more fantastic views.
We enjoyed our stay at the Mantra, mainly because of its location, cleanliness, the amazing views and facilities. The staff who we came in contact with were fantastic.
