Mercure Williamtown
I just wanted to pass on my feedback from my recent stay at the Airport Mercure in Williamtown.
To say they were amazing is an understatement. I called before booking to make sure I could book 2 rooms side by side as my daughter was recovering from emergency surgery. Spoke to a gentleman named Rob and nothing was too much trouble. On arrival the next day We were welcomed by Rob and as promised our rooms were side by side.
Our evening meals were delicious and staff were lovely. Night staff were accommodating allowing my daughter to have her wheat pack heated at intervals. Breakie was delicious and we were given a late check out and driven by the GM the short 900m distanceto the airport’s which was just too far to walk for my daughter post surgery.
The kind caring hospitality shown by every staff member at the Williamtown Mercure was exceptional 10/10🙌

The service was great and so were the rooms very quiet considering how close it is to the airport. However, the restaurant was disappointing... Paying $34 for a pretty average 'butter chicken' curry served in k-mart anko bowls is not a good look.

If you need to be close to the airport, it’s great. The staff are absolute sweethearts and happy to help you in any way they can. There’s not a lot around for food in Williamtown but the food I got at the restaurant was absolutely delicious.

The person at check in asked too many personal questions about my travel plans and made me feel creeped out as a single female traveler. Other staff were great. Meals were good and easy check out. Hotel was quiet. Room was basic for the price. No bottled water, minibar or toiletries included. Nothing else around there except the airport. You need a car to get to the terminal as quite a long walk and no shuttle. I would only stay there again for convenience sake if I had another early flight.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good-sized rooms. Restaurant dining was excellent. Although my Platinum welcome letter and amenity was not evident, the only real (but minor) negative was room maintenance/house cleaning missing the fact a bed lamp had not been functioning and a tissue box was empty (despite being purposely left out for obvious replacement). Overall, it was an excellent stay.

I’ll start by saying, all the staff were wonderful. However the building itself needs a freshen up. The arm chairs in the restaurant had staining on the arm rests and there was a strange looking black mould looking stain on the roof tiles. The rooms themselves were clean enough, but the shower screen doesn’t come far enough up, so water gets sprayed everywhere when having a shower. Dinner was okay, however the avocado on toast for breakfast looked like it had been frozen or come from a tube. Was an okay stay for a few nights.

Big clean room, staff service was excellent, & friendly. Breakfast 4/5. Didn't really see the surrounding area at airport, other than easy vehicle access.

Great room service, nice breakfast and great coffee. Bed was super firm (not a fan), room had a blinking fire alarm in it and lack or shower screen drenched our bathroom. Staff were really nice and helpful. Overall, good place to stay right next to the airport.
