Incredibly beautiful hotel suite amazingly stocked mini bar and great harbour location and pool view (Pool is over crowded tho and hard to get a bed for hotel users)

Location is very good. The corridor looks like being in a hospital rather than in a hotel. The room was ok. Breakfast with a lot of option but overall quality is not that great.

Have previously enjoyed our staycations at the Ville but last night was terrible. Lifts were unreliable as they kept breaking down, this meant most times only 1 lift was working and wait times were crazy. A repeating mechanical noise made sleep difficult. The Ville has a great location and is modern and clean. Drink prices are too high and service is slow. In a recent stay, I could not get a coffee until the Casino opened as the QD was closed until 11am. The hotel was full of guests. Late night dining is also limited. Gluten Free options need improvement.

Lovely stay here. Pool was definitely the main feature, loved that it was salt water so you didn't get the stingy eyes. The pool was always clean. The pool and splash bar were really fun, even for our 3 year old. Enjoyed the Sunday session live music also. Buffet breakfast was excellent. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and even helped us and other guests get to the airport when the taxi service was super slow - this was over and above expected. We would definitely stay again.

Stayed for several nights for a conference, including awards dinner. Conference venue was good with large rooms that were able to be split into 3 smaller rooms. The AV systems played up a few times and became a distraction, but were fixed quickly. Attentive and friendly staff. Rooms were standard hotel rooms and unfortunately didn't have much of a view from my room.

I went to the Ville Resort for brunch at 10:30am, specifically at the quarter deck. Unfortunately breakfast closed at 10am and lunch opens at 11am. The location is picture-perfect. It’s even better in person. I have the best view from my balcony, as you can see in the photos. On the other side, there’s a view of Castle Hill. The hotel is old and could use some updates, particularly the carpet and the bathroom. There is a washing machine, but it’s not working. Otherwise, my stay has been a refreshing experience in Townsville.

Clean and tidy room, the bathroom had a leak under the sink and the toilet but otherwise it wasn’t a hassle. The location is excellent, especially for kids. We had an extra bed added to our room by calling the hotel directly and paying for it. We had extra blankets and pillows in the cupboard for the bed but had to get extra towels which caused no dramas.

This was not our first stay and in the main it was good. We stayed twice on this trip with a stint on Magnetic Island in between. Service on our departure stay was while not bad was marred by the gentleman who was abrupt and less than enthusiastic about being helpful. Update: A fence at the back of the car park is really needed. At night the car park become a pedestrian thoroughfare. UNPRETENTIOUS BUT WELL MAINTAINED HOTEL IN CENTRAL TOWNSVILLE This is not a five star hotel but nor are its tariffs. Good option for those wanting to be centrally located but without overspending on accommodation. There is a restaurant onsite and a small swimming pool. No in room safes. The location is excellent, a quick walk to the heart of Townsville city. Rooms are clean but the staff are the best part of staying at this hotel. I found the staff very kind, helpful and also willing to explain places of interest or activities to do.

Stayed in adjoining rooms on the weekend. Clean and comfortable rooms but the air con in one of the rooms was not working well. Staff were helpful and friendly. Great location for the shirt time we were there. Look forward to a return visit.

This hotel is in a central location,with nice restaurant's around it,the room was good,but it is showing some wear and tear,not bad room.

I rarely leave negative reviews but due to the lack of acknowledgement or resolve from management at Madison Plaza I have to say; We were given a Business Queen room with black mould in the air conditioning—an obvious health risk. With no comparable room available, we were downgraded but still charged the original rate and told we’d be charged a $25 room change fee, I had to argue my case to not pay...

First time in Townsville, I arrived at midnight an hour after my checkin time and was so happy to find the hotel reception still up and waiting for my arrival. The service was epic. I requested an extension for two days and was given without delay. I will recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great service and friendly staff any day.

Service at the venue was outstanding. Very Helpful with local information. We had two cabins. Our flight departed late at night and they gave us one cabin to relax and store our luggage until departure. Highly recommend this place.

Great place to stay. Lovely staff. Great facilities with a new Kitchen block with AC and a T.V. very nice home comforts after months on the road. We ended up lengthening our stay for another 2 nights due to injury to my ankle and they had no problems organizing the extra nights. In town for a brief visit and stayed for a few night. What a pleasant surprise. I wasn’t expecting much but this little place was value for money. A lovely little Cafe, quiet, comfortable and pleasant. The staff and service are great, plus they make a top coffee. Haven't stayed in any of the rooms, but from what I've seen they look clean and neat and tidy .

Great position, in the street with many restaurants and pubs. great service with the free car park. The “room” was an entire apartment, with huge living by room, two rooms, two toilets. Negative point, the WiFi was completely useless all around the apartment.

The location is amazing, I initially thought being so close to a pub it would be loud but it was the complete opposite you couldn’t hear anything. the beach is just a short stroll from your room too

Best location if you want to go for a walk and food . The pub does have a pool for them hot days and also pokies if you fancy a gamble . Dogs are not allowed at the pub which I think should be changed as the location is perfect for dog walkers.

Had our first visit to thr Bushy in late July and really enjoyed ourselves. There were some vegetarian and dairy free options on the menu and were tasty enough. Beer selection is limited but not unusual. Plastic outdoor furniture was interesting.

A nice little getaway pub on the beach to escape the city. The pub is huge with a restaurant, bar, lake, accomodation, bottle shop, pokies, swimming pool, carpark and outdoor dining area. Good variety of food on the menu to choose from. Love the outdoor seating area to enjoy the cool breeze and fresh air.

Awesome little pub right on the waterfront!! It has its own swimming pool, outside beer garden on the lawn and amazing lagoon filled with turtles, barramundi and eels !!!

Only attended as a visitor to see friends staying in a cabin. Cabins looked new and quite nice. As a visitor, I was charged $15 each person to use pool and facilities. Clearly didn't pay as only visiting for a couple of hours. Thought that was a bit rich to charge this to visitors.

If you have kids, this park is amazing. It’s full of fun and keeps kids entertained for hours. A few different sizes of slides and also splash pool for younger ones. After staying at this park on our way home for one night it was a most welcomed experience. Quiet at night, friendly staff, clean facilities, big sites, all round highly recommend. I've never been to Townsville and found the location not really close to anything. We were reliant on walking/scooters or taxis but when you need more milk or water or just some snacks there is nothing close by to just walk too.
