Hotel Diamond in Kazanlak

My daughter and I stayed here for just one night, although I wish we had stayed for more. The hotel was clean and tidy The rooms were nice, my daughter had the "Pink room" which was extra special. We had breakfast which was lovely. You had to order the night before and it was cooked fresh. What made us really happy was the very, very helpful staff. They arranged a car for us to pick us up from the Railway station and take us on an afternoon tour before arriving at the Hotel. We will definitely go back again.

Would recommend it for staying as it's just across the city museum! You can order breakfast ahead, the room was clean, and the personnel was welcoming. There's parking though it's a bit hard to enter with a bigger car.

Excellent on all levels. Fast wifi, Wonderful but small and cosy rooms and maintained well ..accept for one small thibg: the shower head clamp which was broken and I, 1.91 m tall, wasn’t able to set it at a comfortable height. Nevertheless 5 stars from us. The staff was nice and helpful and also spoke English. We will be back.

Nice place. Clean room and very polite and friendly staff. The breakfast was freshly baked. Has a small underground parking. Overall nice place to stay.

Rooms vary in size and price quite dramatically. The odd bit of maintenance e.g. wall sockets hanging loose, prevents top marks but well located just off the main bar/restaurant street.

…. Pleasant and cozy atmosphere, a hotel with a little kitschy style, for my taste, but the rooms are themed with a different design, which is interesting. We were in the Golden Double Room;
…. Unfortunately we only had 1 nightstand, I don't know for what reason, we were deprived of the second one;
…. There was a dead wasp in the drawer of the only nightstand;
… In the second "Golden" room, my daughter found someone's socks on the floor, apparently left by a previous client. True, they were under the curtain next to the nightstand, but house keeping still had to see them somehow;
…. The curtains are not black out, i.e. when the sun shines in the morning, you have no option to sleep a bit more.

…. Good service, but without face masks;
…. If you forgot a reading before sleep and are staying at the Diamond Hotel, check the drawers for books. I guess they were left by the hotel to have something for the guests to read if they didn't take it. They were in both the rooms we accommodated;
…. The room door locks are with keys instead of cards, which is a certain inconvenience, especially if you need 2 pieces per room. You just can't get them, while if there were cards, they could be programmed for each guest in the room. Also, the door is openable from the outside, which means that you must lock it from the inside. Yes, but the key has a plate for the electricity, which automatically means that you have to disconnect the key from the plate;
…. Great convenience is the location of the hotel - at the beginning of the pedestrian zone, near the historical museum and within walking distance of the center, Kazanlak tomb, Park Rosarium.

…. It is very noisy at night because of the street, even with the windows closed.

Smell….
.… The shower gel from the cosmetics in the bathroom smelled more like toiletries. I expected the shampoos to be based on rose oil, since we are in the capital of roses, but my expectations were not met. Only the soap smelled of a rose. Better bring your own shower gel and shampoo.

Wow wow wow .. this place is AMAZING. For that little town this is some next level hotel .. they've got some rooms that are unique to any hotel in Bulgaria. We were in the romantic room where you can find a all round bad in a huge room with a massage shower in the f....k room !! Which is like a go to for a Romantic or honeymoon room. Definitely go there if you are in the region !!

This is a great place to stay if you're here for vacation. Although the room is not too big, the facilities are all in great condition. Also the staff are friendly and fluent in English, especially the girl who was on day shift of 09-Jun-2019. I think her name is Gabri? If possible, I'd like to thank her for the kindness and patience she showed, and all the help she offered!
