Disgusting hotel. I'm very surprised by its rather good ratings here and on Booking. In September, we booked a room for three for 75 euros (150 lev). The room literally had nothing except beds and very loud air conditioners-radiators under the windows. The "two rooms" were more like two corridors with single beds along the sides, and the toilet in the center.
The toilet had a nearly transparent door through which everything happening in the shower was clearly visible!!! And this was in a room for three people with separate beds, who by default are not close enough to watch each other shower. The shower itself, apart from the toilet, sink, and a showerhead sticking out of the wall, had nothing. There was no proper shower space, you had to bathe standing by the sink and the transparent door, with water splashing everywhere.
A separate disaster was the water situation. After payment and receiving the room keys, the receptionist kindly informed us that the hotel has a water supply schedule, according to which the water is completely shut off during the night, starting at 11:00 PM, and also a few times during the day. We checked in at 10:40 PM.
Finding parking near the hotel was nearly impossible, and the receptionist simply suggested parking under a sign that said the spot was reserved for city authorities.

The receptionist was very kind and sweet. The room was expensive for the town. It was clean though and the bathroom was nice and clean as well! The location is perfect, you are literally in the very center of the town!

Inconspicuous 4-floor hotel in downtown Pleven tucked away in a small street off the main pedestrian area. In my opinion the dozens of paintings of all styles and genres displayed in the lobby, stair landings, corridors and in the rooms give it a kitschy / pretentious appearance.

Location - the hotel is smack in the middle of Pleven, few hundred yards from the town square and pedestrian street with fountains and all. Good view of the Russo-Turkish war of 1877 mausoleum/ossuary. All other things considered, the location should account for over 50% of the room price.
Overall room 303 was clean and maintained though I found it a tad small.
I could check in and get my room at 12:15 even though standard checkin time is 14:00.

No breakfast included in the already steep price.
The "kitchenette" in room 303 is actually a kitchen sink + water kettle that do nothing but take up space.
Parking: the hotel keeps 5 places for guests but they do not reserve so parking is as/if available; be ready to find parking in the streets or at one of the nearby paid lots.
No real restaurant, only a breakfast room.
No balkony.
Bathroom is spartan. A clogged drain on the bathroom floor causes an inch-deep puddle of shower water.
Control panel of the AC unit is locked in a [rather noisy] max fan mode.

This location is a curse and a blessing. It’s close to the fountains but you have noisy loser skateboarders at 2am jumping on their boards. If the hotel had air conditioning you could block them out but it doesn’t. You roast or open the windows and be kept up all night by the yahoos. Don’t stay here. Find another location.

Central location. Nice renovation of an old building. Very friendly service. 5 parking spaces in front reserved for guests. Interesting art selection on the walls, interesting older furniture selection.

There's no difference between apartment and studio. Just a partition between two rooms. Better take the studio. pay less for same size of room. No fully functional kitchen.

I'm very poorly prepaired for this review but i'm still going to post it. I stayed one night at this hotel. I sleeped very well in those beds. There is working air conditioning in the rooms but be careful, there is no fridge. As much as i used any facility of the hotel, it's a solid 4/5. I didn't there but i think there is good food. The building is very clean. It's a good hotel but the area doesn't have very much to offer other than some water show right next to the hotel door.
